Guys were quick. Packing went well overall, nothing broken. Day of the move went smoothly. Had a couple issues, but Eric was very responsive to my concerns. Customer service like you don't see much nowadays. He really was interested in my input and wanted to make everything right. Based on the management's commitment to quality service, I would use these guys again.

I've moved 5 times in the last five years, all as a family of three with a small child. I've moved with movers, with pods, and with uhauls - so we were well prepared for the move. These movers came on time, and were nice gentlemen. There were little things -like a desk that got dropped and dented - that was unfortunate.

That went very well. They did a great job. They were very professional. I was pleased. They were pretty efficient. I had 3 guys and a truck. They knew exactly what they were doing. They had methods to make things happen. They were prompt. They were there when they said they would be and it was pretty much done when they said it would be done. I would recommend them to anybody.

The team packed much of the house and unpacked it at our new address 25 miles away. There were a few snafus including a driver who was under the weather and under-estimated amount of truck capacity, but the professionalism of Eric (dispatch), Nick and Sean (movers) really helped save the day. Unexpected things always happen, but it is critical to have a great team on board when they do. I would definitely use them again.

Although the move took longer than I expected, the crew worked until everything was done. The moving crew were very personable and friendly.

If ever a move could be qualified as simple and easy, this was the case. I talked to Eric to set it up, and it was very straight forward. The day before somebody called me to confirm and gather all extra details (like exact destination). The day of the move, 3 guys showed up (Bryan, Manny, & Eddy - I think), I showed them the goods, and after some paperwork they started to work. Everything went super smooth and they got everything moved in no time. Just an example: one of our shelves was too wide for the stairs, and they went ahead and raised it by the balcony, making sure no damage happened to either the shelf or the balcony. Kudos to all four (the 3 workers and Eric)

The movers were on time, respectful, and worked very quickly and carefully. They worked hard the entire time and we had no issues with things getting damaged, etc. My only gripe is the cost of wrapping items, BUT TO BE CLEAR, this is a moving industry issue not specific to Blankenship. It is our fault for not managing the items we had them wrap better, but it did turn into a much more costly move than expected as a result.

It went perfect! Hard to believe a move could go so smoothly. They took care of my stuff and we're really friendly. Quick and painless.

Successful and stress-free move despite the big storm the day of my move. To start, I spoke with Eric to schedule and he was very informative and assuring. The movers called ahead and when they arrived were courteous and friendly. Whatever additional help I needed they provided (taping boxes, loading wardrobe boxes, moving from the basement, etc.). Because of the rain, they had to come up with creative ways to keep things moving in a safe and non-messy way - which saved me money too.

Blankenship Movers saved me from all the anxiety that comes with a move. Especially since it was my business, which I was not prepared to leave for quite some time. The landlord wanted me out ASAP because he has other plans for the space. Originally, I contacted another provider through Angie"s List who said they could do it, (at a higher cost) on Friday the 26th. After I sealed the arrangements several hours later I received a call from the "other" mover saying they could not do my move until the 30th. They were not nice about their error, either. I cancelled them, went back to Angie's List of movers and contacted Blankenship based on their customer feedback. My contact was all through the internet and Eric was prompt with responding. He told me it was a very busy time since the end of the month is when people are moving in and out the most. He told me he could squeeze me in on Saturday afternoon and gave me a window of time between 3pm and 5pm. He asked that I go ahead and purchase the deal, which I was a little nervous doing but he assured me they would not have such good reviews if they took money and rescheduled people. Although I know it can happen due to any number of reasons. So now it's Saturday afternoon and I know I was given a window but it's getting near 2:30 and I'm feeling anxious and not wanting to do this move. Being a morning person, I like to get started very early. I called and spoke to Lou, who turned out to be an angel sent from heaven. He reassured me they would be there and do an excellent job. I had no doubt he was telling me the truth. I explained I was not up for the task. This angel of a man rescheduled my move for the next day....A SUNDAY! At the same price. The other company told me when I asked if it were possible to do the move on Sunday, I would be charged overtime rates. Once again I was given a window of time. This time Lou said between noon and three. I was expecting them to arrive more toward 3pm. To my surprise I received a call at 11:13 AM from Johnny to let me know they were on their way. Wow, that was unexpected! I met with the three J's, Johnny, Jason and Joshua. I had nothing pre-packed, organized or prepared, including myself, for this move. They took care of everything. I was most concerned about my treatment table, not only is it very heavy, it was stuffed through a doorway it was just a bit too big for, and a piece broke while it was being moved into the space. The three J's had to move it out and It was challenging, that's for sure. But they got it out and loaded onto the truck. The other piece of equipment was a $25K machine I use for my facial services. They got that out and made sure it was secured tightly in the truck. The unload was so much easier. I originally thought this job would be a very fast move... It was not. My underestimate...I had no problem paying additional money. The entire experience was painless and I'm glad it's over. I would highly recommend Blankenship Movers and the crew of the three J's who took such good care of me.

Carl, Johnny, Matt and Drew were the guys dispatched by the company. They arrived promptly after several reminder calls and updates, just as expected. As soon as they got on site, they got to work, talking with us from time to time to make sure that everything that should be moved was and nothing was that shouldn't be. It was obvious fairly early on that the weather was going to get unpleasant and it didn't disappoint. It hit 80 F before lunch and was almost to 90 by the time we got to the unloading stage. We'd diagramed for the guys what went in what room and color-coded our boxes with tape accordingly and darned if they didn't stick to that plan like glue! Despite the humidity, massive scope of work (that 24 foot truck was packed!) and three floors to cover, the guys never once complained or slacked off, keeping up a steady stream of cheerful chatter and joking with each other and us as they worked. In the end, we went two hours over and had to pay a few extra hours but we didn't mind at all. Ended up being rather higher than we hoped to pay but we can't complain, given how much skill in going around the narrow stairwells in that weather was put in! In the end only one piece was damaged and it was a cheap Ikea nightstand and wasn't mourned. I would definitely use these guys again.

Move was very smooth. We were ready for them with everything packed up. Movers were professional. We had a couple of small wall dings, but these were fixable and the movers showed them to us when it happened. I was greatly appreciative of the help in moving a ping pong table. Items were dismantled and re-assembled well. Movers were very friendly and I could tell they cared about moving us safely with no damage to items and homes.

Great guys. This is a small company with a good reputation, so it was a little hard to schedule a time. They arrived on time. I was surprised when I learned we were something like their fifth job for the day. You couldn't tell how hard they had been working. They helped us pack up the remainders, even though we were supposed to have everything packed by the time they arrived. . They applied tape and packing materials to furniture and boxes. They carried the heavy furniture and boxes down two flights of stairs, loaded their truck, and arrived quickly at the the new apartment. They carried everything up three flights of stairs. They were very nice and made sure that packages and furniture landed in the right rooms in the right spots. Everything arrived whole and undamaged! I can't tell you how pleasant the experience was. We tipped them well. But honestly, given the price and high quality team, it was still a great deal!

Absolutely Amazing!!! Graet Customer Service!!! Our buyers moved the closing date a day before our move, and they had no problem rescheduling us. On the day of the move they showed up on time and started moving things immediately. We have five bedrooms and a faily of six and we were moved out and moved into the new house in five hours!!! Great Job!!! I was recommended Blanketship by a co-worker and I will recommend them to everyone!!! Thank You!!!

Called and spoke to Eric. He is well seasoned and I took his direction on what was needed regarding man power and trucks. Got email confirmation and Eric was attentive to answering email questions and responded quick to phone calls/voicemail. Received a call from another manager confirming my move and recommending one truck vs two (due to the close proximities of the locations). I deferred to Eric's original recommendation as I wanted to beat the clock and weather (t-storms expected). Also, I had people at the house who were going to help unpack. Slight delay on moving day due to traffic, no biggie, they called and were very courteous. The team introduced themselves, shook my hand and went right to work. My wife and I were organized with very few small boxes or items to load. We marked each room and had the house set up with color coordinated signs and arrows pointing what went where. There were fragile items that required special care, and they were handled gingerly and with respect. The crew was exceptionally polite, and worked non-stop. They utilized the stairs and elevator with good time management, and navigated oversized items with very little need for supervision. The move took less time than estimated. It did pour rain for an hour, and then got hot and humid. I give these guys a lot of credit for keeping up despite the conditions. I give an A- on quality only because the walls got marked up and I'll need to repaint. It was tough to avoid the walls, but it's added work and expense. A+ for all other categories. Jimmy O's team did a great job. I have moved several times and would highly recommend these movers to others: Jim, Steve, Leroy, Noel and Matt. We were organized, they were organized, and the job got done and done very well.

I'd used Blankenship Movers for a previous move for myself so used them for a move for my elderly father. They were on time and provided three men. There were a couple minor issues which Eric, the general manager (not sure of title), rectified immediately. Customer service has been excellent and got a very quick response to my phone call. I would definitely use them again.

excellent. Non-stop service, there is one guy can carry 8 boxes one time. I was really surprised.

These guys were great in every step of the move. They were careful when moving to avoid bumping into wall and even put furniture pieces together when needed. I have used different moving companies in the past, but I would use these guys again if needed.

They did my move in the 2 hours I paid for and were great with advice.

Big Lou and his crew were very friendly and showed up right at the time they promised. They assessed the situation and sofas that needed to be moved and got right to work . With no trouble they successfully maneuvered the sofa up the stairs and into my place. This was great since the delivery company that originally dropped off my sofa gave up and told me that is was impossible to get the sofa up the stairs. Not only did Lou, Jimmy and Steve do it, they did it with good humor. I will use these guys for all future moving needs. Thanks again guys for a job well done. Steve

I needed to put my furniture in storage and decided to give this company a try after reading the reviews. The movers came out very quick, on time and immediately got to work. They worked very hard and quickly moved my items to storage as requested. Overall, very impressed with the high level of quality service from them. I would rate them an A+ and plan on using them again in the future.

The guys were punctual and diligent in their work throughout the entire event. They did not waste time and they were very friendly while they were getting the job done. These are the kind of good people you want in your home, I was extremely satisfied with the move and would recommend them to anyone. Very fair pricing on the amount of work done as well.

These guys are fabulous. I highly recommend them. I had "Drew's Crew" (names are fading!)--a dad, his son, a friend, and another member who came from another crew to help out when it got late. This company is WAY better than Golan (whom I used previously). They bent over backwards to help me when some snafus related to the buyer's closing happened. The movers work SO HARD and are very professional. Even my 76 year old mom loved them, and she's not easy to win over. Nothing was broken and they worked very hard to put all boxes and furniture exactly where I want them. The crew leader even secured my porch glider to the top of his personal truck b/c it didn't fit in the large moving truck (why didn't they have my mom ride it to the new house to complete that Beverly Hillbillies moment?). I will only use this company in the future if I ever move again and will recommend them to anyone who is moving.
