Description of Work: A/C unit not working in our rental property, they worked with me and our tenant very well, kept me in the loop each step of the way, and made sure to have the go ahead from me before each step. They also work to be as cost effective as possible.

Description of Work: Besco came out on a repair call to check out our (old) A/C unit. We discussed options and decided that a replacement made more sense. They were able to send someone out to go over the options/cost of a replacement the same day as the repair call had been, and scheduled the actual A/C replacement for just a few days later. I would absolutely use them again, they were a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: They were able to repair a boiler that my prior boiler company could not, but their estimate to replace my two boilers was over twice as much as comparable quotes from other companies and their warranty (basically that of the mfg) was only 1 year whereas the warranty on the boilers I ended up purchasing was 8 years and for less cost (both the cost of the equipment as well as the cost of installation).

Description of Work: I initially contacted Besco in January, as one of our building's 2 water heater tanks wasn't hot. Sergio called before he arrived and was prompt. He cleaned the burner assembly and replaced a thermocouple. Our condo assocation decided to have the other water heater tank serviced, along with our furnace. I printed off the Angie's List coupon from their website and once again Sergio was prompt, professional and very neat. From the inital call into their main number to the services provided, I would highly recommend Besco Air!

Description of Work: Serviced two furnaces and one radiant heat unit. Two men Sergio and Jerry. Very professional, explained everything, made suggestions, answered all my questions, worked quickly. I save $40 by using an Angies list coupon. I used Besco once before and was so-so on the previous person that they sent and said so on the phone when I was making the appt. |The operator was very pleasant and she said Sergio would do a great job, and he did.

Description of Work: Our furnace went down on one of the coldest nights in January. To make matters worse, it went out around 3:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Jim came out first thing in the morning and diagnosed the problem quickly. It was pretty expensive because we had to pay a vendor to open his shop on a Sunday morning so Jim could purchase the part. We were just grateful to have the heat back by afternoon. Great job, would use again

Description of Work: During the polar vortex, my house was getting cold. With two young children, we thought it would be wise to get our furnace checked out. | |The technician came at the agreed-upon time. He did a check of my furnace, which is old. He didn't try to sell me anything but simply said that it was old, still functioning but functioning. He recommended a different type of filter (which he didn't make me buy from him) and a two-stage thermostat (bought on Amazon for $35). | |His visit gave us confidence that our furnace wasn't the problem... now to find a good insulation person. I wish there was a reliable website with user ratings that could help me with this ;).

It had not been working during some very cold days, and began working again when the company came out. |Minimal diagnostics were done, and only suggestions as to why it may have temporarily stopped working. Sure enough, it went out again two more times over the next 2 months; we had a different service company out the 2nd time who fixed the problem.
