They did an excellent job. They were the only company that realized the current AC and furnace that were installed in there were actually the wrong unit for the condo. So, everybody else was just going to replace the unit that was in there and it would have been the wrong unit, and it would have not been covered under any warranty because of that. They were the only ones that actually caught that within 3 minutes of providing a quote. Their punctuality and professionalism was excellent. They finished everything very nicely, exactly what I wanted them to do and they did it on time. Their price was a little high, but I went with them any ways just because they were the only ones that figured out that that was not the right unit.

They assessed my square footage and capacity needs and determined that I was running too large of a furnace (put in by previous owner); suggested replacing these with smaller capacity, opening up airflow to improve functionality and obtained rebate from People's Gas on my behalf. The old furnaces were ready to go, so the decision to replace them with more efficient ones was necessary. Besco was very informative throughout the process, answered all of my questions, showed me what was wrong with the old ones and came back to make sure everything was working well after installation.

I'm very please with Besco. They are responsive, courteous, clean and respectful. I'm a new homeowner and when they came out they took the time to answer my several questions and point a few things out that I could expect in the future. I replaced my water heater as well last year and had problems with the company I used. Besco offered some advice on how I could fix the problem and I wish I had hired Besco to replace the water heater. Definitely recommend to anyone.

They did what they said they were going to do. They missed one thing but I called them and the guy came back out and took care of that. I was happy with it overall.

-Besco provided me with good information about the radiator in my newly acquired 1920s bunaglow home -Unfortunately, they could not fix the problem w/ the one radiotor which had to do with original install and then recent rennovation. Besco did provide alternative upgrades and solutions.

Overall it went well. The labor charges were reasonable. I would use them again.

Besco has been here on several occasions in the past few years. Each time, the servicemen that have come here are extremely professional and explain the complicated workings of a 98 year old steam boiler system so that they are understandable. After having good experiences with them, we have signed up for their annual maintenance program which comes with some very good perks, most of all being pushed up the list when there is an urgent heating issue. I highly recommend this company.

Appointment was easy to make and available times. Service was reasonable in price. 1st service men for heating service did the job although he seemed a bit stressed about it. Not very friendly but did the job. 2nd service of air conditioning cleaning was done fast. Not sure if completely thorough. Service man was friendly and fast though.

I called Besco after not being able to get an appointment with my long term boiler maintenance provider (Williams Stoker). Besco was able to come out quickly. They did a fine job putting in the new boiler and it seems to work well. The only thing I was annoyed about is that one of the guys accidentally took my radiator key with him when he left. I called about 10 minutes after they left. Instead of turning around and dropping it off the guy at the office said they'd mail it to me. About a week later I received an empty envelope with a hole in it. Probably it ripped in the mail room and was lost in transit. I called to let Besco know I still didn't have a key and they said I should stop by their office to get a replacement...an hour away from my new home. They do good work, just hold onto your keys! Got a call from Jim at Besco soon after my Angies post. He's sending out a replacement key. :) Never actually received the key though I did speak with Jim and confirmed my address so he could replace it. Oh well, not a huge thing, I'll have to replace it myself.

BesCo responded right away to a voice mail message that I left on a Sunday morning. They came out on the next day to bid on a new furnace installation job. The sales person was exactly on time, even a bit early. He spent a long time measuring, configuring and designing a new venting system for an energy efficient furnace. He was very professional and knowledgeable and not pushy. He instilled a lot of confidence in how I perceived his company. In the end I was unable to go with BesCo, for other reasons, but after my research and the time spent with them, I would highly recomend them.

I was happy with them, but they messed out on a couple of things. The wiring was old. When they installed the furnace, they did not tell us that the wiring was old until it broke down and they had to come up here and look at it. They were fine installing it. I just wished they would have told us the issue before they installed it. Then, they were supposed to come back and seal something and they haven't done that yet.

The house was incredibly dry, we were having trouble sleeping and our wood floors were splitting. I had turned up the humidifier but it did not seem to work. Besco came out, noticed something was clogged within the humidifier, fixed the problem and tested several times. Then they advised on how to note if the humidifier was working (the sound it makes) and other options with humidifiers and how best to use it. The call took 20 minutes and most and they were incredibly professional (as usual). We used them once before and they were fantastic. These are absolutely the best guys out there when it comes to HVAC.

The installation went very well. They were very neat, friendly, knowledable and had the job completed in one day.

Besco was very professional and prompt. Installation went well with no problems. We would not hesitate to recommend Besco to our friends, relatives or neighbors. An excellent company. Their sales rep, Joe Pedota, was very attentive and followed up.

unimpressed with the knowledge of technician regarding radiant heating systems ("everything is wrong, don't know what to tell you to improve it"); company promised to send out a specific tech, but sent out another (and still charged me for the evaluation); tech didn't properly read one of the components he was servicing, and led to extra time being spent on the job. in all, little appears to have been fixed, no path to improvement and i'm out 150. small sample size, but i wouldn't use them again for servicing a radiant heating system.

The technician was punctual, considerate and informative. He performed the inspection in a timely manner and provided advice on which filters to use for better airflow. Would recommend.

Both technicians were great. Polite and arrived on time. They really knew what they were doing. Sergio was able to get my old boiler working well. Joe gave me suggestions and is going to provide estimates for various things that need to be completed. I have talked with several heating pros about heating issues with my porch and his solution made the most sense.

It went very smoothly. The technician from Besco came out and did a great job cleaning all components and inspecting the furnace carefully. She made sure that I knew what she was doing and when she was finished she made sure that the work area around the furnace was clean. I will be calling them for my future HVAC needs.

Making the appointment was easy and they confirmed on the day we scheduled. The repairman was there on time and was extremely professional. He looked at our thermostat first to make sure it was set up correctly and then looked at the furnace. Within a few minutes he determined that a wrong part had been installed by another company and was causing the problems we were experiencing. Rather than charge us for a replacement he simply repositioned the it so the furnace would ignite correctly. He cleaned and serviced the furnace, showed me parts that need replacing in furnaces, described the condition of each and what future replacement might cost. There was no pressure no 'doom and gloom.' He said it was a great furnace and should serve us for a long time. He asked about our air conditioning and said they would be happy to service it in the spring. This was the first visit by Besco Air and we will certainly have them back.

The service call went great. Besco takes pride in doing a job right. He explained what he was doing and what he was looking for. Work was performed quickly and effectively. I have not had any furnace issues since the service.

Our furnace stopped working on a Sunday evening. We called Besco on a Monday morning and they had someone out to take a look at our furnace within a couple hours of our call. They not only got it working and charged us very little for their service call, they also took time to walk through all the options we had for either repairing the old furnace or replacing it. We were very pleased with their professionalism.

They were on time and did the work. They didn't do the best with the clean up, but they are coming back to clean it. They were responsive when I called about the clean up. They did come back out to clean up and I am satisfied.

Serviceman came out to service our unit and made sure it had freon sufficient to carry us through the summer. He gave us tips on how to save money regarding energy efficiency.

I called Besco Air to replace a 20 year old furnace with a cracked heat exchanger. Besco came out, explained options to me, and also explained that the existing furnace was oversized for the home. They recommended the 60,000 BTU model, 95% efficiency furnace, especially since the gas company was offering a rebate on high efficiency furnaces. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time (actually early) and finished quickly. Besco completed all the paperwork to apply for the rebate from the gas company. They came out for a followup visit to check for proper operation. A very painless experience!
