Everything went well. Tech was quick, professional and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem properly.

Assessment and sales consult went well as Besco employee's appeared knowledgeable and were prompt in coming out to the house. Installation was scheduled on time, but the work was rushed some and, consequently, there was a connection problem which resulted in a small leak. Called Besco and they promptly sent the installers back after an assessment was made. End result was that Besco fixed the problem and the service to get everything working as expected was covered under my service warranty agreement.

He found the problem right away and fixed it. Also topped off our Freon as we were running a little low.

I live in a condo which I bought last year and I called Besco in to get a second opinion after being told by Alltemp I needed a either a costly repair involving draining and replacing the freon or a new unit because "it had just stopped working" - no specific problem given, just that it was old. He set me up with an appointment with a salesman in short order. Being faced with a huge, unexpected home maintenance expense I wisely decided to get a second opinion and called Besco. Jonathon from Besco came and checked out the unit and checked out the unit and said the capacitor was busted. This needed to be fixed before the unit could even be assessed since it is essentially a blown fuse. He replaced it and the unit worked perfectly. I asked hm about the expected life on the system and he said around 5 more years! And the repair was less than $200! He was thorough, methodical, explained everything, and very professional and pleasant. BEWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION IF THEY ARE PUSHING A NEW SYSTEM.

The Besco Tech was very responsive to my questions and very carefully made sure that I understood costs and benefits. He showed me the signs of wear on old igniter. Explained that it might last for a while, but this was not a good bet. Recommended new igniter and keep old one in reserve. Went with that because of recent experience with igniter in gas oven.

The guy from Besco Air is great. He came out and told us about our actions, talked us through the whole process. They installed the furnace and came out for a follow up. They are very professional.

I called Besco in a panic because my AC went out on the first hot day of the year and I have a 10-week old newborn at home. They scheduled a service call for me the next day...but then did me one better. Andy asked for details about my problem and then gave me advice on how to FIX IT MYSELF! That's right, instead of making an easy $100 on a simple fix, he walked me through the basic steps I needed to perform to get my AC on ASAP! I don't know how many other service providers would have the professionalism to offer customer service that cost their company money, but I will definitely use and recommend Besco because of Andy's decency and friendliness. They are great and have literally replaced parts of my water heater to make sure it works since it never did work before. They came out when I needed them especially since I am not home most of the time. One time when they were caught in traffic they called to let me know about it. They replaced my water heater at just their labor cost. They were able to figure out the problem and were able to get the original company to replace it. They were really persistent in taking care of the problem for me since I was continuing to have the same problem and it was costing me a lot of money. They seemed to be much more knowledgeable than the original people who installed the water heater for me. I am not sure about their pricing since I have never compared or used anyone else.

The air in my condo went out and I contacted 4 providers. Joe from Besco was hands down the best salesperson. I had a somewhat tricky installation since the air handler was in a hall closet. Joe took the time to sketch everything out and research the best solution for me. 2 out of the other 3 salespeople I had to chase to get a quote, while Joe was very responsive through the entire process. The guys that did the installation were on-time, very courteous, and did a great job. I cannot recommend them enough.

The service man arrived on time, quickly identified the problem, provided a quote and was able to install the new part resolving the issue in the same visit. Great experience!

,The provider assessed the cost for replacing the flue on my boiler system> I only wanted the cap replaced at this time> He called back with a figure for replacement of the cap only, though stated it could be the whole system would have to be replaced if the flue did not hold up. He threw in the cleaning of the boiler with the $80. service charge.

I called and booked an appointment for the next day to have my furnace checked and repaired. I later received a call the same day to let me know that a service tech was in my area and was asked if I was available for the tech to come by. I was surprised to receive this call because it was after normal business hours. My house was without heat for a few days and needed my unit fixed ASAP, but I did not want to spend the extra money for after hours service. Besco Air was very sympathetic to my situation and said that they wouldn't charge me the after hours service fee. When the tech arrived, he was very nice and respectful of my property. I showed him where my furnace was and he got right to work. He had all parts needed on hand and fixed and inspected my entire system. He made sure that both heat and a/c was working properly, as well as all thermostats. The technician was very thorough, and polite, and best of all, he got my furnace up and running and gave myself and family some much needed heat. Parts and labor were warrantied, and no issues thus far. The next day I noticed that I was charged $138 more than what was quoted. I sent an email to customer service regarding the incorrect charge. Andy responded to my email right away, and I spoke to Jim the owner, who apologized right off the bat regarding the incorrect charge and issued a credit of $138 back to my cc. Overall good experience with both labor and customer service. Will definitely use Besco Air for any future needs and will recommend.

Company has excellent customer service and puntuality. Serviceman was on time and professional. He systematically ran through potential problems and was ultimately able to fix it. I was charged for the service call and one hour labor (not sure if they round up or what, I didn't ask - but seemed like he could have been done in 30 minutes... not a knock on the guy, but just sayin') Service guy then proceeded to give helpful warnings about carbon monoxide and highly rated consumer detectors. Above all, satisfactory service, great customer service and punctuality and fair price.

The were extremely attentive, both in the appointment process and in keeping their commitment to us time-wise. I''m sure they were really busy with all of the other furnace issues caused by the flooding. We are very happy with their service and professionalism. We will use them every time we need service!

The Besco sales person was very good. He explained everything that had to be done and was very straight forward. Although I liked their proposal and the cost of the furnace, other installation charges became the decision factor. I ended up going with another company.

See above. Always try and get a repair person on the phone and use video, sound and other technology to get a remote diagnosis.

Extremely satisfied. First representative showed up promptly and provided extimate of costs. Once we agreeed to the work, Besco was out the next day to relpce the furnace. Service crew was freindly and knowledgable.

This was covered in detail above. However, a week after this work was done, we had a separate issue manifest. Besco sent out one of their best technicians, "Cheech", who was able to diagnose the issue as having an entirely separate root cause. The fact that he worked our appointment into his already packed schedule was much appreciated. While the price wasn't "a deal", it seemed comparable to the competition. The total approximate price here includes both the first and second repair. First repair was approximately $600 and the second approx. $200. The fact that most (all?) HVAC companies charge for estimates makes it somewhat challenging and frustrating to compare their prices, but that's more of a general critique of companies in this category, rather than Besco specifically. All in all, we were pleased with Besco's service and would certainly consider them for future work.

Besco has been my furnace servicer for many years and, as usual, went well from start to finish. I phoned Besco to find out if the frequent clicking noise my furnace was making was normal. Technician Sergio Morales came the next morning and found that the clicking noise was because the furnace was turning on & off every few minutes because the pressure switch was going bad. He replaced it with a universal pressure switch, and the furnace is operating properly now. Technician Morales was efficient, professional, and helpful -- while here, he checked the furnace filter & suggested that in the future, instead of using 3M 1500-rated filters, I use 3M's red filters because the purple,1500-rated, filters block air flow excessively. The 3M red filters are good quality and allow greater air flow.
