They always call before arriving and always show up on time. Our technician, Dawn, was polite and extremely professional. She performed her tasks quickly and efficiently and explained everything that was done so I could understand it. If only all of our service providers were this good!

Besco was very helpful from start to finish in setting up an appointment to repair the air conditioner of one of our tenants. Since we were not at the property this was all handled through phone calls, but it went very smoothly. They quickly found the problem, fixed it the same day and our tenant was happy.

My A/C had been wired wrong. One man came out and wasn't able to fix it. They sent someone else out for an estimate but I ended up not using them.

Furnace was not working. After cleaning, the furnace worked just fine.

I actually obtained my bid from Joe at Besco Air last year, but due to a number of circumstances wasn't able to complete the job at that time. I contacted Joe earlier this summer to see if we could proceed and he was able to honor his original price (except the cost of the crane which had gone up). The job was pushed back due to the process of obtaining city permits for some roof work that had to be done simultaneous with the HVAC work. Joe was very accommodating of the scheduling issues. We had to organize the work in 3 trips. First to disconnect the old A/C and install the coils and run new lines up to the roof. After the new roof was installed, they came back to install the condensers, and then after final electrical connections were made they had one quick trip to turn everything on and make sure it was running. The technicians that came to the house were very polite, punctual, and accommodating. They answered all of my questions. My tenants have a brand new baby and they were extra careful not to disrupt them as best as possible and worked quickly and quietly. Take advantage of the Angie's list discount. The price was fair to begin with but was excellent after the applied discount. When we are ready to install A/C for the 3rd apartment we will call Besco Air to do the job.

Besco arrived on time as requested. I had a problem with the older thermostat program, so I installed a new thermostat myself. It did not seem to work either, so I contacted Besco. They took the new (cheaper model) thermostat out and replaced with the older one and reset it. It has worked fine for months since the visit.

I was very pleased with the service. They promptly came out on a 90+ degree day when other providers could not come until later in the week.

Arrived between the times arranged. Very polite and professional service man. Found out that we needed batteries in our thermostat and we replaced them right away. He cleaned the furnace well. Recommended several things that we will need to do in the next several years: replace the humidifier filter (which we can buy and replace ourselves) and have the blower fan removed and washed. He did not try to sell us on extra services. We loved that! We are now ready for winter!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a good job. They were really efficient and they were quickly able to get the problem resolved. I haven't had any problems.

Besco was professional on the phone, and setting up our initial appointment was a breeze. Our Maintenance visit on Friday was perfectly delightful. Our technician appeared to be thorough, and he was friendly too. He seemed to take great pride in his work. However, by Saturday, it was apparent that our system was no longer working :( so we called Besco to get someone to come back out and see what was happening. The response to our complaint was excellent. Besco sent Jerry over on Saturday afternoon to fix our problem. By the time he got to our house, our compressor was totally frozen; the whole system was frozen. So he advised us to shut down; he'd come back on Sunday to see what was happening and hopefully fix the problem. Jerry came back, as promised, on Sunday afternoon - and he fixed the problem. Hooray for air conditioning! Plus, he was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, informative and tidy. There was no additional charge for the two extra visits to our home - we were only asked to pay for the refrigerant our system needed to get back to top working condition.

They arrived within 1hr of their 3hr window. The tech (Jerry) was awesome. He listened to all I had to tell him, asked a few questions, and immediately had a few ideas. He informed me that, in his professional opinion, the thermostat was the true culprit. He recommended a few models, and even gave me a few quick pointers on installation. He also pointed out my neighbor's unit was in need of cleaning and advised how he could address it. He explained next steps, should the new thermostat not solve the situation 100%, and was able to provide cost estimates for the various options. He was in and out in an hour.

Besco provided excellent service. Trane was the bump in the road as Besco had a hard time getting a response. A special order from Trane was needed since the units I had aren't manufactured anymore. On top of that, two different sized units were needed. Once the details were finalized, we were able to have modules manufactured to fit the existing units with a lead time of 7-8 weeks -- obviously out of the control of Besco. Trane offered expedited service of 2-3 weeks at an 18% upcharge. Besco generously offered a discount on labor if both were ordered and installed at the same time. After the expedited option was approved, Besco green flagged the purchase and process, and the new modules were installed within days of receipt. Installation was a breeze, the service tech arrived first thing and finished without a hitch within 3 hours.

The technician called me to say she was on the way to my appointment, well within the promised time frame. Yes, "she." First female HVAC service person I have met. Very pleasant, said she was also a police officer, who did HVAC as a parttime job. since my a/c system didn't have any problems, and just needed its annual checkup, I was comfortable with a parttime tech performing the job.

Came out the day I called and showed up even a half hour early! Purchased their storefront coupon for 50% off service fee. Ryan, their service technician was very nice and more than accommodating! Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their AC.

The service was professional, on-time, and courteous. The repair work took about 25 minutes and the suggestions for what my needs are likely to be in the future were offered without any attempt to convince me to purchase them immediately. I would definitely recommend Besco in the future.

Fair. Provider did not have the best ladder to complete the job which impacted the time to do it. Also, I am concerned it may have impacted his ability to complete the work properly.

BESOC's name is dirt in my book and it should be the same as yours. Please consider my experience with them below: BESCO was initially called in to help with a situation we were having with an old (but functional and recently inspected) furnace. Within the first few minutes the "repair" person was in sales mode and proceeded to describe a situation of imminent danger. He said that he could "smell the CO2 coming off of the furnace as it ignited." This very same claim was written out in his work order that I hold in my hands. It has been a while since my last science class, but it turns out CO2 has no odor! I Nothing like some scare tactics to score a $10,000 sale off a $40 repair call. I WISH the story ended there. Keeping in mind that the furnaces were inspected only a few months before and in need of a second opinion, I kindly asked the repair person to fix the problem (the easily diagnosed problem of a loose fan belt - yes, this was an old furnace) The repair person begrudgingly replaced the belt and I made a follow-up appointment with them to discuss the replacement options with BESCO. The next morning we were woken to a very loud noise emanating from the furnace that was serviced. I called a different repair shop, and while standing over the repairman, he discovered that the flange around one of the pulley wheels was broken off. This was obviously caused by the BESO repair person from the previous day cutting corners while installing the belt. In the following days I had several other shops provide quotes,as well as provide me their opinion on the necessity of replacement. ALL of them reported that replacement probably was a good idea, but there was no imminent danger. Within these days, knowing what my options were and ultimately wanting some peace of mind I opted for replacement, but not with BESCO. I did have BESCO provide a quote. BESCO's quote was far higher then at least three other highly rated Angie' s list vendors - not that I would do business with them even if their price was competitive.

They were fantastic. They fixed us up. They had pretty good ideas. They did a fantastic job. It was kind of expensive, but I kind of knew that. I'm 100 percent happy with them. There hasn't been any issues since they installed everything. Even my wife was impressed, and she's pretty hard to satisfy. They're fantastically good.
