They came out on a Saturday and analyzed and fixed the furnace. Very consciencious and careful. He was really honest and up front and I appreciated that, This was an emergency situation.

We had been having problems with our boiler system and the pressure within it, among other things. After having our system maintenance done early in the autumn, we asked the serviceman for information on having some work done on the system. Joe Pedota at Besco called us that day and came out that afternoon to have a look and tell us what needed to be done. He prepared 2 quotes for work: one in which repiping, relocation, and replacement were done and the other in which the entire boiler was replaced in addition to the other work. We received the quotes within 1-2 days of his visit. Once we decided what we wanted to do, Joe scheduled the work. The professional who came out to do the work was absolutely fantastic. He and his helper were thorough and efficient yet personable, doing the above-mentioned work in just over half the day. He answered any questions we had. He explained, in layman's terms, the work he was doing. Coming and going from truck to house, they were unobtrusive (my office is in the basement and I was working that day). And, to top it all off, we received a handwritten thank-you note from Joe about a week after the work was done. Nice touch...nice to have our business appreciated. Our experience with Besco has been excellent. We will continue to use them for our home's heating needs in the future.

It was good. It worked well. It kind of escalated where we need a new furnace but they have been good. They are easy to work with. I didn’t feel like they were trying to take advantage considering my wife’s and my HVAC knowledge.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It went fine. They came out shortly after the purchase was made. There was no additional charge. I would possibly use them again.

The process started with Ed, who created a design plan for the 1st floor and basement level. Several weeks later, Chris and Robert installed the furnance, A.C. and ductwork. Ed, Chris and Robert are easy to work with, professional and the quality of their work is excellent. I highly recommend Besco Air.

It didn't include the service that I wanted. They geared towards the regular checkup. I told them I still wanted to have the cleaning work done. They told me that they'd give me a callback but they never gave me a callback.

I have a neighbor who works in corporate HVAC and he said Besco performed all the necessary steps to keep the old one alive. When it came time to install the the furnace, the installers came on time and worked as fast as they could. The salesman, Joe was friendly and went through all the options with us. He even came a couple weeks later to see if everything was working ok. Our house has never felt more cozy! Thanks Besco!

They checked a gas leak for me. They were on time, professional and informative and they fixed the leak. I would recommend them to others.

From start to finish, we had a great experience. When shopping for the job, we found highly rated hvac companies on Angies List and after a few phone calls and quotes, we were almost convinced that none of them wanted the business. Then we spoke to Joe at Besco and we didn't want to go anywhere else. He came to our house multiple times to answer questions and walk us through the entire process. We even added an architect after the original quote and Joe worked with him, our contractor, and our electrician to make us feel at ease that we were getting exactly what we needed. Also, while we were waiting to get the job scheduled, Joe had to come to our house twice just to make sure we got the best financing available. Once the crew came to do the work, the process was more difficult than we expected, but we were very happy with the work. They needed to cut into floors and ceilings throughout the building and our contractor gave big complements for how cleanly they did this, which made his job much easier once they left. After they were done, we needed to call a few times for small issues and we are so pleased with the level of responsiveness from the person answering the phone, to Joe (who is still answering our questions), to anyone they send over here. Lastly, after the job, they took care of applying for any rebates which were available and we were so happy to get some money back. We would definitely recommend Besco and plan to use them for our regular service.

I received the offer from Angie's List and immediately searched the company's website to determine service areas. I live in Hyde Park - which is in the middle of the Cook County - so I purchased the deal. A day later, I received a follow-up Email from Angie's asking that I contact Besco to set up the appointment. I telephoned immediately only to be told that MY area is not covered! This is why they deserve a "F". Take Cook County off the listing if it's a lie! My true concern is that, while Angie's took my funds in less than a day, I'm now being told that it will take 7 to 10 business days for someone to even "look" into a refund. THIS is my issue. Besco may have misled me unintentionally, but Angie's is now intentionally holding my funds. I'm not OK with idle funds where there is no possibility that the service will be performed. This is my first order with Angie's List...I'm not impressed.

Couldn't ask for better service and beat all other firms on price!! Ed did an outstanding job offering what options would be best suitable for my home while exceeding my expectations on service and price. Some of the other HVAC firm quotes I received were ridiculously high for the same equipment and they didn't come close to having the knowledge with heat pump systems. If you want to save a lot of time and money, I'd recommend going with Besco! The technician , Cheech was outstanding! Will use again for my service and maintenance needs moving forward.

I had no issues with them, they were responsive when purchasing the deal but it was just more convenient at the time to have someone else do the work.

Didn't have availability until Dec. 1 and I thought that there were other things included in the deal that weren't and they would have been quite expensive to do.

Sadly, Besco Air Inc couldn't work on the my heat pump system due to the way it is configured in the high-rise building.

Both times the service has been fantastic and will continue to use for all future jobs.

Everything was fine and it was quick. They got the job in about 2 hours. They sent one person out to do the job and they were able to come out within 48 hours.

The installation went quickly and and neatly. The persons who came for the installation were friendly and knowledgeable and were happy to answer any questions I had. The furnace to be replaced was located in a closet and was a snug fit, but the installers came in and did the job without any complaints or comments on the difficulty of the space in which they had to work, which I appreciated as the homeowner. We recently used Besco Air again to replace the lower level furnace, and have recommended them to several friends and neighbors.

The process to set-up an appointment was uneventful. The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a worn out motor. Since I was working, I was unable to attend, but the tenant said the employee was professional and friendly. The technician called and gave me a status on my voice mail. I called back approximately 15 minutes later and was told a new motor was ordered and he would install it the next day (~$575). I never gave approval to order the motor. I thought it seemed quite expensive and wanted to do a little research. I checked it out and it was excessive. A called the technician back in 15 minutes and I told him not to order the motor. He explained that I would be charged for the time it took to order the part. Why should I be charged for the time it took to order something that I never approved? I called the owner and the story changed. I was told that I was being charged for the time the technician waited for me to call him back. I find this very odd since the technician was not waiting around for me to give him approval to start the work since he didn't even have the part! Good thing I called back quickly or this visit could have been incredibly expensive. I hired another service and was charged $350 for the work.
