Benjamin Flooring was recommended to me by a Realtor friend who uses him regularly. He came in and quoted the job 30% less than the other 2 quotes I got from highly recommended companies on this site. I might have been wary because of the difference in price, but was assured by my friend that he was good - and he was. He was always on time, met the dates he promised, was very patient with all of my questions and followed my instructions. Had a critical tool breakdown which delayed it a couple of days, but they made up for the lost time. Best of all, my family did not have to move out, or into the basement while the work progressed, as I was told by the other companies I would have to do, apparently for their convenience. Benjamin's guys stated all the staining first thing in the morning and we could walk upstairs by mid-afternoon. the final result looks fantastic, the floor is solid - NO squeaks.

I don’t really remember the details but I remember it to be a positive experience. I was very happy with what they did. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were easy to work with and it was a good experience. A couple of things went wrong but they fixed it right away when I called them.

We had no problems. They came to measure and give me an estimate and that's what I paid. It was a crew of three or four who spent a work day and did the whole thing very quickly. They were professional and good about cleaning up.

We looked online and called many people but a lot of companies simply didn't call us back. A contractor working on part of our home recommended Benjamin. Their prices were very competitive. I wasn't around to see everything done. His was right on the dot arriving everyday according to my family and as to the quality of work, there were some scuff marks. However, the floor does look great and the scuff marks could have come from anywhere. We plan to use him again for another house within our family.
