I want my money back, because my washer is leaking water, it's still not fixed and not balanced right. Not spinning the clothes at the end.

Two days before Thanksgiving our tenants at our condo called in a panic because the oven was not heating up and they were hosting Thanksgiving dinner. We called Appliance Tech at 9pm at night and they picked up and said the tech would call me at 8am the next day to schedule a time to come by and it would not be a problem. The tech called at exactly 8am the next morning and easily scheduled a time to come by that afternoon. They gave me a 4 hour window, from 12p-4p. I was a little stressed that it was late in the day but he was very reassuring. They arrive at the very tail end of the window so I was sweating it but once he got there, he fixed the problem in 20 minutes and charged by $175, which seemed like a fair price without any kind of rush or holiday surcharge. Our tenants' Thanksgiving went off without a hitch. Thank you!!!
Description of Work: Fixed the ignitor switch on the oven.

The repair person was over 6 hours late both times he was scheduled to come. He did call to let us know that he was running late, but both times the reason he gave was that the customer ahead of us had a huge problem that took much longer to repair than anticipated. That suggests that this company needs to review the way it assesses how long a job will take and shift their resources around accordingly. The repairman did a good job, ensuring that we got a high-quality metal part instead of a more breakable plastic one. However, he didn't do a thorough clean up of the work area before leaving. That, plus the fact that he was so delayed and therefore hampered our ability to do leave the house or even get in the shower before he came, means I won't be calling them again.
Description of Work: Came in to assess our broken dishwasher, discovered a broken part, ordered it, then came back to replace it.

The wash machine had stopped working during the agitation cycle. We had been referred by friends to another company that appears to have been bought by Appliance Tech. I called at 8am on 8/18 and spoke with Jim. He advised that they had someone available that day. I gave him all contact info. Service tech would come after 3pm & call when he was on his way. At 2:45 tech, Albert Simmons, called me, I told him I would be home in 15 min. He said he would be there b/f 4pm; then changed it to b/f 5pm. I called him at 5:10pm; he didn't answer. I called main # and got Jim. Albert called me at 5:15pm to tell me he was on the expressway and would be here in 10 minutes. He did not appear until 5:45pm ( 30 minutes later). He had an attitude from the get go. We had worked on the machine the night b/f to try to fix the problem ourselves. He told me that he would charge us $30 to put the back of the machine back on. So I told him not to put it back on. He diagnosed the problem as the lid switch. He told me that he would not have to take the back or the top off to do this so that was why he was charging extra to put it back together. He told me the switch replacement was $169. I asked what portion was for the switch. He told me that they don't divide it up; it's straight $169. He told me to call my husband to ask what he wanted done. I advised husband would be here in a minute. He said we shouldn't have taken the machine back off. I avoided him during the remainder of the job. Husband worked with him to reassemble the back. Their receipt does not include an address just an 800 #. When I called the original company I was looking for these people answered the phone.
Description of Work: Wash machine lid switch was replaced. We were charged for reassembling the washer.
