+ -1 moreWe "thought" the washing machine/dryer combination dryer had stopped working. Called Appliance Repair Doc and sent email. Used them before to fix washing machine. Highly responsive. Javier asked what was wrong and to send picture. Based on our description he had to order part. Said it would take 7-10 business days to get part. Told part cost. Part delivered. Omar called to schedule installation. Omar arrived at the appointed time. Checked dryer and discovered there was nothing wrong. We had a brain fart! Asked Omar what is the cost. He said, "no cost" even though they had paid for the part, said he would return it! I tried to bribe him and he would not take anything. Great customer service. Use these guys. They know how to fix appliances and in our case, how not to embarrass the customer. Did I say great customer service!!!

+ -1 moreBelieve me, you will not get this level of service elsewhere. Many other services, particularly larger companies, will often have to schedule a diagnostic appt and then return at a later time to complete the repair, increasing the cost and the time for a fix. Javier was prompt, professional, his fees were more than reasonable, and was extremely easy to communicate with via phone calls and texts. When the issue turned out not to be any of the problems that he thought it would be but was in fact something I had done wrong, he refunded me a portion of what I had already paid, which given the amount of time he'd spent with me he was well within bounds to keep. I asked not to refund me, it really was all my fault, and he wouldn't hear of it. This is an honest, well run small business with a stand out level of customer service and I couldn't imagine calling anyone else to fix something in my home other than Appliance Repair Doctor.
Description of Work: My washing machine stopped working on a Thrusday, it would fill with water but I could not turn it back on to either wash or drain I called someone else first that my property manager had recommended who agreed to come Friday and take a look, they never showed and I could not reach them for the remainder of the weekend. At this point I was becoming concerned with the water sitting in the machine. I found Appliance Repair Doctor through Yelp and left a message Sunday evening, hoping for a call back Monday AM. I got a return call that night, yes, SUNDAY night. I honestly couldn't believe it. Javier, the owner, and I discussed what was happening and he was able to schedule an appt to see me the next day, Monday. Before the appt, Javier texted me the three most likely issues that may be wrong, what the cost to repair each would be, and was able to arrive at the appt with the parts on hand to fix each one. He was actually a little early and called me 20 min before his arrival so I knew exactly when he would be there.
