Description of Work: Service to unclog a fully stopped bathtub drain in a recently purchased condo. Previous owner claimed they fixed it but Apex noted it had been largely plugged for a year. Very pleasant and helpful.

Description of Work: Had a toilet that constantly needs to be plunged. They came out the day I called. The plumber was very nice and professional. Issue is they charge $197 to snake a toilet. They charge by job not hour, so couldn't have him do other stuff. It took him ten minutes. Seems extremely expensive. In fairness, estimates are free and I could have hired a different company. They are very professional and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: I came home after a long weekend to find my water heater was leaking water from inside!!!. After calling a few places, I was able to get a hold of apex plumbing right away (even though it was labor day). The technician, Jon, walked me thru how to shut off the water and he and Jorge arrived early the next morning to assess the damage. They informed me that my water heater was done and it would need to be replaced. He gave me an estimate for removal and hauling away of old one along with installing a new one. He recommended a Bradford White water heater even though it's a bit pricier, but once he told me that this is the only brand he would put in his house, I was sold. After a couple days of comparison shopping, I realized the price quote and brand they suggested to me was excellent. I had them come and they did an awesome job. It's great having hot water again! I will definitely use them again for any future issues!

Description of Work: I have an old apartment building with a recurring problem with freezing pipes. Apex plumbing came out on several occasions to thaw the pipes and they were prompt and professional. We looked for a way to solve the problem on a more permanent basis. New piping was installed at a cost of $1575, but this did not solve the problem and the pipes froze again the next week. Apex did not respond to several phone calls, and we eventually called another company who charged us $1300 to thaw the pipes and re-pipe them in a different manner.

 + -1 moreWE WERE COMPLETELY EMBARRASSED THAT WE GOT IT STUCK IN THE FIRST PLACE! I CALLED APEX AT 7:00 AM ON A MONDAY MORNING, THEY WERE HERE AT 8:00 AM AND FINISHED THE JOB BY 8:20 AM. NOT ONLY DID THEY REMOVE THE SNAKE, THEY ALSO CORRECTED THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM BY UNCLOGGING OUR DRAIN. WE LEARNED THE LESSON ... CALL THE PROFESSIONALS!

 + -1 moreJAY WAS GREAT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HOW TO ADDRESS THE LOW HOT WATER PRESSURE IN OUR TUB/SHOWER. THE BACKFLOW PREVENTER ON THE HOT WATER SIDE WAS CLOGGED WITH RUST. HE CLEANED IT OUT AND EVERYTHING WORKED BEAUTIFULLY. I ALSO APPRECIATE THEIR PROFESSIONALISM. I CALLED THEM LAST NIGHT, AFTER THE OTHER PLUMBER HAD LEFT, AFTER THE THIRD VISIT. THEY CAME FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, FIXED THE ISSUE PROMPTLY, AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP, TOO. MY ONLY REGRET IS NOT CALLING THEM THE FIRST TIME. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

APEX OWNER CAME TO ASSESS THE SITUATION, APOLOGIZE FOR THE BAD NEWS, AND GIVE ME A VERY CLEAR SENSE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHY. PLUMBERS CAME WHEN I EXPECTED THEM, WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND WITHOUT A BREAK ALL DAY LONG, CLEANED UP WELL. I MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE OWNER DURING THE PROCESS; HE RESPONDED QUICKLY AND COURTEOUSLY. THEIR WORK IS GUARANTEED.
Description of Work: ORIGINAL 1911 PIPES IN THE WALL BETWEEN THE KITCHEN AND PANTRY CRACKED LEADING TO A WET MESS ON TWO FLOORS; EFFORTS TO REPAIR THESE LED TO MORE CRACKS. THE SOLUTION WAS TO REPLACE THE OLD PIPES WITH NEW ONES FROM BASEMENT TO SECOND FLOOR.
