Description of Work: I called Apex to get an estimate on refinishing my wood floors. I have a big house with an open floor plan and was concerned about dust. I was told this company was truly dustless so I was eager to give them a try. They returned my call right away and a guy came to give me an estimate within a few days. I asked him quite a bit of questions because this is a big job - my entire downstairs and also my upstairs. The guy seemed to know what he was talking about and I was impressed with the Apex process. As part of my research I read a lot of reviews online about the company. I was a little concerned about some negative reports I read online about their pricing. Since the guy came to my house to give me a quote and tell me about his company I asked him about the reports I read. I was simply being an informed consumer and I felt like it was a fair question considering the scope of the project. Most vendors understand this. He was extremely offended and two days later I received an email with the title "no thank you" stating they would not provide me with a quote because they did not wish to work with someone who would accuse them of price gauging (which I did not). I have never experienced anything like this before. I was not impressed with the professionalism of Apex. I do not think they would have treat a man like this - i feel like they treated me like "the little housewife." I am extremely offended. I even sent an email to the owner of the company but I never received a response.

Description of Work: We got an estimate from Apex wood flooring, their estimate was extremely high. Especially doing Stairs, whereas we figured it is cheaper to replace the stairs with a new one. I hear they are good and I believe it, but they are way too expensive. Almost 2.5 times.

Description of Work: We had Apex come out for an estimate on real hardwood flooring. The gentleman that came out was very knowledgeable and gave us many options. The price quoted was a high for our budget at the time. However, out of all the estimates we felt there work would be exceptional and what we needed. We haven't done the work yet, and will call them again in the future for this project.

+ -1 moreCOMPANY IS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL TO WORK WITH. THEY HAVE A FULL TIME OFFICE STAFF SO SOMEONE ALWAYS ANSWERS THE PHONE. THEY ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN CREWS. WITHOUT A DOUBT THIS COMPANY EMPLOYS SOME OF THE NICEST AND MOST COURTEOUS PEOPLE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. THEIR QUOTE WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE I RECEIVED, HOWEVER I BELIEVE IT WAS WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN AS THE WORK PERFORMED WAS EXCELLENT AND THEY HANDLED A PROBLEM NO ONE HAD ANTICIPATED. THEY CORRECTED A "MISTAKE" THAT MOST COMPANIES WOULD SIMPLY HAVE LEFT AS IS AND WALKED AWAY FROM. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE and INCREDIBLE RESULTS WITH THEIR FLOORS.

+ -1 moreAPEX FLOOR COVERINGS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND STARTED RIGHT TO WORK. THEY WERE POLITE AND VERY NEAT. THEY CLEANED UP AS THEY WENT ALONG AS TO NOT MAKE A HUGE MESS. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE NEW CARPET.
Description of Work: APEX FLOOR COVERING REMOVED ALL THE OLD CARPET AND INSTALLED ALL NEW UPDATED CARPET WITH FRESH COLORS.
