They did an OUTSTANDING job from start to finish!

We were very happy with everything. The price was better than a couple of the big name places for the exact same carpet style/type. And the service was great. Larry was easy to work with and was ready as soon as we were ready for him. He was very flexible as other parts of our project were delayed and we had to push him back. The installers were great, very efficient and everything looks awesome. We would happily use them again and refer to our friends and family with confidence.

I needed wall to wall carpet for a new attic bedroom and an entrance staircase and landings to the second floor. Got quotes during site visits from some of the highest rated carpet installers. Selected American Carpet Distributors Inc. based on selection, cost and interaction during site visit. Larry and the crew he sent were great. Installers were pleasant, efficient and obviously very experienced. Everything went as good as it gets. Check out this company before selecting someone else and you won't be disappointed.

After having several companies come out for an estimate, Larry was the only one who followed up with me. Price was comparable with 1 other company and much cheaper than another. Even a slight discount for cash. Installers, let me know they knew they were going to be a little late. It took a little longer than planned. Had to send my roommate to dinner because I wanted to surprise her and have it done when she came home, but it all worked out They cleaned everything up, cut one of my doors with my saw, put all furniture back where it was, and it looks great. Got a nice thick pad and it will make a huge difference in not being so cold downstairs. I would definitely recommend and use them again if needed. Thanks Larry & Crew !

Larry was prompt, responsive, and patient with me changing the carpet I wanted installed. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the choice I made. His crew was incredibly respectful of my home. We had gotten our hardwood floors refinished the week before and asked them to be careful so they laid padding out to not disturb the wood floors. The installation was done efficiently and professionally. It looks fantastic. I would definitely hire again.

Larry and his crew did a GREAT job. This is my second time working with this company, and they delivered as promised again. Everything went so smoothly. The initial meeting on site with Larry to look at the hallways, selecting the carpet, making the order, scheduling the job, and the actual work. No problems at all. Larry was very responsive and quick. Ordered carpet and it was installed in a week. Sixto, the installer, was on time, did a great job, and cleaned up afterward. Would definitely hire again.

I called and was able to get an appointment within in an hour- the same day. A very good start. He came out and measured and quoted me $1,650.00 for an 18 x 22 ft basement and 10 stairs. The price came down to $1,600 when I went with a lower grade pad. I was told the pad would still be thicker than what was there presently. They were able to install a few days later- also helpful. The installers arrived on time and were professional and polite. The owner told me to offer them some money to take away the old carpet and pad. He doesn't provide this service I asked the installers how much it would cost, if they would take the carpet. It was awkward for both of us. The installer later said he would haul it away for $120. I didn't have that kind of cash on me. By the way- It was not a thicker pad. The doors had way more room to open and close after the install. I bought a medium grade Shaw carpet. You do the math. I needed it fast and I paid for quick service. Also, cash or check is required. If you want to use a credit card- there is an added fee fee.

Larry brings a rare combination of professionalism, quality product and low prices. He provided superb carpet and thick quality padding $1000 below Lowes estimate. Working with him was a pleasure. Would definitely recommend his services to friends!

Larry was very easy to work with and was very friendly and responsive. The initial appointment where he came to our home and took measurements covered everything we needed. He is knowledgable and honest and we would work with him again in the future. The installation crew did a very good job overall. There were a few areas in the corners of the rooms that could have used a little extra pushing down, but it was fast and they did not leave a mess. They did a nice job at the transition points from carpeting to the threshold of a room. The overall experience was a good one and I feel more comfortable with this company than with some of the larger companies that are advertised. The pricing is very fair and there were no surprise add-ons.

The installation began as we were leaving town and the installers were quick and efficient and had already got things well underway before we left. We were very pleased with the finished job when we returned a few days later. It was flawless.

From start to finish these guys were the complete package. I submitted a request for an estimate online. Larry called me back the next day to arrange a time to come out. We landed on a Thursday evening (2 days from when we talked). Due to another salesman having some car troubles Larry was running a few minutes late, but called ahead to let me know. And when he arrived, he had the other salesman with him, so we got twice the help! While Larry was measuring, the other salesman (I forget his name) was walking me through the process, giving me some tips on what quality carpet is and explaining what we would need to do to prepare for installation. Once Larry was done measuring and my wife had picked out the carpet we had a quote within minutes. Previously we had Empire Carpet out for an estimate, and the one from American Carpet (although slightly higher), was with a MUCH better carpet and better padding than what Empire was offering. I wrote a check on the spot and we scheduled the install for the following Friday. When the install day came, they arrived on time and got straight to work! They moved all the furniture, tore up the old carpet and padding and installed the new stuff in record time. The whole thing lasted less than 7 hours. It was incredible. They were clean and efficient. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

When I called Larry for a quote, he was very responsive--got back to me within a few hours. He came out to the house to measure the rooms and give me a quote. He was friendly and knowledgable, not too pushy. He was patient while we looked over the samples and ended up giving me a price that was less than half of what another company had quoted. A few days later I called him to come back again and he did so right away. We signed the contract and scheduled the installers on the date that was convenient for us. The installers arrived right on time and were finished in about 2 hours. They were professional and did a great job. I will definitely call Larry again when we are ready to carpet the stairs and hallway of our 2-flat. He suggested that we wait until the spring so that we wouldn't ruin our new carpet with the winter slush and snow. I appreciated that advice. Being the owner of a small business myself, I was happy to support a hard-working, honest, local business like American Carpet.

Everything went great. The salesmen and workman were both great also. The price was very reasonable.

I like how honest they are and how he brought the samples to me. He was just just real upfront and honest about everything and I like his demeanor. There's nothing I dislike.

Larry and American Carpets did a GREAT job! My husband and I recently purchased a home where the previous owner had cats and my husband is deathly allergic. We had the carpets shampooed and treated extensively but could not get rid of the cat hair and dander. My husband went out of town for a business trip and I contacted Larry in a panic to see if he could have the carpets removed and replaced by the time my husband returned 4 days later. Larry came out same day with all of the samples of carpet they had in their warehouse. We selected the carpet and he priced it out according to the square footage. He then called me later that night with the time of the appointment which was 2 days later. His crew showed at exactly the time scheduled and were extremely efficient and professional with their installation. My husband has not had an allergy issue since and I owe it all to Larry and American Carpets. I highly recommend them! The only thing I would have rather had changed is that they did not take the old carpet with them but I called for special garbage pickup and that will be taken care of.

The installers were great. They were quick and efficient and completed the job on time (started at 8:45AM, had 30 minutes lunch and finished installation around 5:15PM, cleaned up and left around 5:45PM). I was at home the entire time to help and monitor the installation. The installation is was as expected, no visible flaws and everything looks great. The price is very competitive and the quality (both carpet and labor) does not look inferior to other companies I was quoted at much higher price. I would definitely use them again next time as well.
