About 5 months ago Nunzio and Armando replaced my old hardwood floors. The did a sloppy job with lots of errors and problems that needed to be fixed. Here are a few, huge circular blotches in the middle of my kitchen floor. My dining room has a light side and a dark light side going down the middle. Front door threshold was put on backwards. sloppy stain blotches in all the corners. some rooms look very under sanded and some rooms don't look like they ever recieved a top coat at all . Nunzio stated before he started we would receive 4 coats. The molding looks horrible I dont think a single piece is cut at a 45 degree angle. Nunzio does not even do flooring himself , and Armando is completely uninterested in his job taking countless breaks to watch spanish soap operas. it was a huge mistake to hire Americans Best Flooring.

ABF did an incredible job refinishing my floors. The entire team is super efficient and fast. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to update their floors, not just for their promptness and professional manner but the quality of work speaks for itself.

The team was amazing! Very open and honest about the work being done and was able to remove so horrendous glue which was originally covered by carpet. The floors look spectacular! I absolutely hire them again for future.

ABF is great and efficient with our floor refinishing project! Especially satisfied with the new hardwood flooring installation and after the refinishing, we cannot differentiate the new and old in the conjunction. The refinish process left with dust on cabinets though, which will require us to clean afterward.

Nunzio was very communicative and always willing to help. We had a lot of questions and needed to speak to him many times. No matter what we needed he helped and was willing to come over many times to ensure everything was perfect and exactly what we wanted.

The floors are lovely, Nunzio's advice about finishes was spot-on, and he & Emmanuel were great to work with.

American Best Flooring did a fantastic job on my beat up floors. Made them look brand new and it only took one day.

As always, there were some surprises when the old carpeting was ripped up (i.e., the hardwood floor underneath had unexpected issues). Nunzio fixed the problems beautifully, using aged boards so the repairs wouldn't be obvious. And he stuck to his initial estimate, despite the unexpected additional work. The team worked hard to finish everything promptly (which they did). They also did some minor carpentry repairs and painting, though that is not usually in their wheelhouse. I was grateful not to have to hire a second contractor for the additional work. I was very pleased at the results and came to trust Nunzio's judgment and professional integrity.

Nunzio and his team did an amazing job. He quickly assessed what we needed and provided the lowest estimate. The work is really high quality. We couldn’t be happier. He was punctual, responsive, and helpfully explained in detail his plan. We would definitely hire again.

The crew made an effort to make an inherently inconvenient process as easy as possible. The floors were old and some staining and defects could not be removed. One of us also chipped a small hole into the floor after the varnishing was completed. That had to be patched with putty. It is in a very noticable area, so it was unfortunate. As far as the cost goes, I had a lower quote. But I thought that quote was more likely to creep. I had a previous quote that was significantly higher.

It went great! My floors look like new and it took 2 days just like he said it would. Nunzio didn't try to sell me on anything. I told him what I wanted and he was clear and honest about what he could accomplish. In addition to sanding and staining, his crew added supports under the floor to keep the boards from dipping and even fixed a board upstairs as a favor. I highly recommend him and his crew for a job well done, on budget and on time. Nunzio is also great if you're not sure what the best solution for your floor is. Due to a running toilet, I needed someone to come in and replace the floorboards, stain, and sand everything. I contacted Nunzio and he gave me the best price from three different flooring vendors in the Chicago area. Nunzio was very quick to respond to the job. He communicated in detail what would be done and gave an accurate estimation of the how long it would take. They did an excellent job on the floors and even came over gave me some detailed advice on how to care for the floors. I highly recommend Nunzio and company if you need some flooring work done well and at a good price.

We couldn't be more happy with our experience with Nunzio and his crew. He responded very promptly to my inquiry, explained everything very clearly (what to expect with regard to an old floor), took the time to help us decide on the right stain, and then executed the job beautifully and within a very reasonable amount of time. His prices were well within the normal range, which was great too. He remained in contact throughout the process.
