Description of Work: After my purchase, Rosso called me to schedule a day for service. I was busy at the time so I told him I'd call him back at a later date. About a week later I received an email from AList stating the service provider couldn't honor the coupon.

Description of Work: I bought a "big deal" coupon for $100 for a handyman to provide 3 hours of work. I told him when I scheduled the appointment that I wanted him to install a garage door opener. He came at 10am on July 2. I had the garage door opener waiting for him. After 6 hours of work he declared that he was not going to charge me anything for the work he did and he left with the opener partially installed. I called Robert's Garage Door Professionals (highly listed on Angies List) and they came to finish the work of installing on July 3, 2013. They told me that they needed to redo much of the work the Handyman had done and they charged me $250 to install the opener as well as to correct the installation of the handyman. They did all of the work in under 2 hours. I would like to have the $100 that I paid for 3 hours of the handyman's time refunded since he did not finish the work, left the job site and his work had to be redone by Robert's Garage Door Professionals.

+ -1 more.The day before my scheduled work, which Rosso accommodated for me on a Sunday (!) - as it was my first available free day, he stopped by (well out of his way) to assess the supplies I would need to get. This was WITHOUT charge! He was prompt, incredibly professional and thorough. He was helpful in all regards on advising me what materials I needed and which materials would work best for my needs. His work is meticulous and expert. He cleaned up all signs of work. I am very fussy - and there is NOTHING I was less than thrilled with. He did a PERFECT job - and in an unbelievably efficient way. Since the work I wanted took more time than I had bought on Angie's list, he was certainly entitled to his customary rates for the additional work - but he offered me the discounted rates for all his labor that day. The quality he provided certainly merited his usual and customary rates. He is obviously qualified to handle many construction projects - and his capabilities and care would make me recommend him for far more complicated jobs than I needed this last week. EXCELLENT work.
Description of Work: I bought an Angie's list coupon for 3 hours of Rosso's expert help - but had 5 hours of actual labor for him - and he generously provided the same rate for his labor for the unplanned additional work. He reinforced the sides of my front porch with wire mesh and 2" thick,12" long wood extensions and cement underlayment - going deep into the earth - to prevent rats from access. He rebuilt a crumbling cement surround that buttressed my small front garden. He fixed 2 ceiling light outlets - both needing new wiring and socket work.
