It went great! We didn't know what to expect, but Amber was very quick, and super hands-on, with tons of practical suggestions. During the most productive 3 hours in sunroom history (on her first visit), after we looked at all the spaces, she suggested my husband go and buy new shelving for the garage while we purged and organized. Not only did he buy the shelves, but she helped us build them AND move all of the (now purged and organized stuff) from the sunroom out there. The basement had different challenges, and our experience was just as efficient with the same amazing results.

Amber is AMAZING! She works efficiently and helped me to declutter and organize my home, so I can operate more efficiently in my work and everyday life. Amber asked the right questions, so we could clear a lot of clutter in just a few hours!!! I donated a number of bags of clothes and goods, gladly hauling them out of my home. Everything went great! I took advantage of a sale the first session. Amber gets started right away, works fast and organizes items in a way that makes it easy to stay organized with everything put away. Once done, she swoops all the bags of trash and stuff to donate out of the house. I even have extra room in the hall closet now so that guests can hang up coats without squishing anything! Really great experience. It was about 8h of work total, with about 6 of that active from me helping make decisions about what to keep and what to toss or donate. Putting things back in the closets she did on her own. She also gave me suggestions for electronic recycling, some bins to buy, small job movers and selling books. Will definitely use her services again if I get off track.

Had Patty over for a 3 hour organizing session. Patty didn't ask that I discard anything, but with her help I was able to rid the kitchen of duplicates and unwanted items. We worked on the cabinets very diligently together. When she left, everything had a place and my cabinets were not overflowing with stuff.

What a great experience! I placed my request online and within 24 hours Amber had called me to confirm my appointment. I explained to Amber what assistance I was seeking, and she understood exactly what I was hoping to accomplish. I consider myself an organized person, but I needed someone with a fresh pair of eyes to view my storage dilemma and offer new ideas and advice. Allison is the organizer who assisted with my project. Allison is friendly, professional, enthusiastic, and intuitively knew what would work for my storage situation. Allison got to work immediately upon arrival and we both went through everything that was in the room. Nothing was left unturned. I learned how to properly categorize my belongings and Allison made good use of the storage bins and boxes I already had at home. Allison came prepared with her label maker and labeled my storage bins and even the storage shelves so that I would be able to easily find items. Allison even helped me carry papers and broken down boxes to my building's recycling bins. She also neatly packed up items in boxes that I took to a donation center a few days later. Allison also offered tips for maximizing my storage space in my linen closet and inside a clothing hutch I have in my bedroom. The project took 7 hours to complete, but now the room looks cheery and bright and is completely organized.

Description of Work: After our move into our new home on Dec 1, we had 240 boxes, a 3 year old, a corporate holiday party to attend, illness, a traveling husband.... I needed help so I could function in the space and return to work while my husband was out of town. I called them on a Friday, we set up the plan on Saturday and they came out on Monday and get LOTS of work done in 4 hours. We worked together to maximize the time and balance that with the price. This service was so very helpful. I would have been lost without it.

I have used Amber many times, but the last time, she helped me sort through and dispose of a large roomful of stuff. We went through boxes of old files, bank statements, medical records, memorabilia, etc. and filed some, threw out more and set a lot aside for shredding. We sorted through Halloween decorations and old luggage. We reorganized shelf space to rationalize it. At the end of the time, a worktable that had been covered with boxes and was completely unusable was clear, and had been converted into a gift wrap station by repurposing the drawer towers from a child's craft table. The floor in the middle of the room was completely clear for the first time in 13 years, and I could see what I had and reach it without needing a backhoe. She is very friendly yet business-like, working non-stop from the moment she gets to my home. And it's hard work--lifting, pushing, tossing, tearing, wrapping up, carrying things. I like to work with her because it gives me company tackling work I'll never do alone, and she is non-judgmental and objective, making it easier to evaluate what should stay and what should go. Then she helps you get rid of things. She carried away boxes of papers for shredding and several bags for donation to Goodwill. She has even helped me take pictures and post items for sale to Craigslist. Amber has number of wonderful contacts--she knew someone who has a traveling shredding service that I took advantage of, and the rates were very reasonable. She has also put me on to used book buyers and sellers and closet design companies. I love having her as a ready resource when I need to tackle a big mess.
Description of Work: Helped me clear out and organize half of my basement that was filled with boxes of papers, Halloween and Christmas decorations, old luggage, beverages, you name it.

Productive and effective are how I would describe My experience with Amber. She was precisely on time, and got straight to work. She asked questions to help ensure every second was used efficiently. The amount of things accomplished in 3 hours would have taken me 16-20 hours by myself, so to say she's 4x more productive would be realistic. We store off season clothing and shoes in storage bins offsite. Amber switched this out for my walk in closet, 2 dressers, my children's closet and two dressers. We also did kids book shelf and a linen closet! I told her I was willing to purge. The end result was 9 garbage bags of donations, 4 bags of recycle and 2 bags of trash. I can now fit my off season in my walk in-no storage!

Since we were rehabbing our kitchen and adding some cabinets, Amber re-organized our kitchen. I needed help thinking through where to organize items and how to use the new space most strategically. Amber was professional and very efficient. She can access a room, look at your items and know their proper placement. She encourages you to pare down and let go of things, while being mindful of the client's personality. You learn by seeing your stuff and your space through her eyes. Many people need help to do this work, and having a professional organizer like Amber will take a weight off your shoulders and you will feel better knowing you're getting your house in order.

It went very well! I was hesitant to use a team of unpackers/organizers, but my husband convinced me. And, I am so happy he did! Amber and her team were phenomenal! They clearly have a "well-oiled" system of unpacking, organizing and helping you purge (in a very soft and kind manner). We had just moved to our new home after a 30 day stay in a hotel (since selling our prior home). So, while I had a very detailed inventory of our boxes, I couldn't remember what was in each box. What I thought was going to take 4-6 hours with our kitchen (we had 62 boxes) only took 3-4, so we had them assist us with other rooms in our home. They were patient, kind and very professional, and also had sense of humor which is so wonderful when unpacking and purging from a tiring move. I would absolutely use her services again in the future! They were wonderful and so much appreciated!

They seem to be very confident. They had a way to help a person let go of things that they really didn't wear or you had worn a year, that kind of thing. It's part psychology, part common sense. They do a good job but they're on a pricey side.
Description of Work: It surely wasn't cheap, but, it's actually a gift that my daughter gave to my wife. She actually went through my wife's closet and helped her decide what to keep and what to get rid off.

We had two organizers (including Amber) that were both excellent! I recently had surgery and was little help with the actual moving and re-arranging of anything! We started by touring our entire house where Amber gave suggestions about organization and better use of space, etc. Then we made a decision on where we could make the biggest impact within the 3 hours. The organizers split up to tackle 2 areas at once, as I went in between them both making decisions on what to donate, throw out, or keep. They organized the items I decided to keep in a functional way that would allow us to 1. know what we have, and 2. use what we have!!! Within the 3 (actually 3.5 because we ran over a bit) hours, my mudroom, front hall closet, and basement were cleaned and organized SO PERFECTLY!! I have never seen those parts of our home so tidy and user friendly (i.e. I am not crawling across boxes to get to our paint cans anymore)!! And they even hauled all the "donate" bags (and there were A LOT of bags) to Goodwill for me!! They were able to get more done in 3.5 hour than I could complete in a week!!! I was so impressed! Worth every penny!! It's been one day and I have already recommended them to 2 different friends!!

Amber was great! She was very responsive right off the bat and flexible with her schedule which included me having to reschedule various times because I just had a baby. I purchased a Big Deal which was $199 for 3 hours of organizing. She was punctual and started things off right away based on what we talked about over the phone. She was flexible in that I had to feed my newborn while she was here and she just kept working and asking me what I wanted to keep/throw away. We went through every cupboard in my laundry room and sorted things there and in my hall closet and we re-organized it so the flow made sense. Then she helped me figure out a system for sorting all my kids papers, mail, bills, etc. Amber works very quickly and helps you make those quick decisions about what to do with items you might tend to keep but don't need. We used and repurposed what I had for storage without having to go and buy stuff, (though I did have several bins already). I felt if I didn't have to tend to the baby we could have tackled a little bit more, but I (and my hubby) were pleased to get our mud/laundry room organized! I would use definitely use her services again!

It went really well. We really liked working with Amber and would definitely recommend her. She is a very sensible, friendly person and was very helpful to us. One thing I would say is that it is very important that you plan on working hand in hand with Amber during her visit - I think that's best to get the most out of her services. That's not a criticism of Amber at all, it is just a comment on a common misconception about hiring an organizer. Amber is great! I wouldn't hesitate to hire her!

Amber and Gail, our two organizers, were fantastic! They came on time and made our place look great. We have a 1000 sq ft one bedroom condo that was in desperate need of an overhaul. We had too much stuff and it was really disorganized since we didn't have set places and/or room for putting things away. When they first showed up, we did a run through of the condo and Amber asked a number of questions to help her understand how we used the place and how they would organize to make sure it worked for the way we lived. I was nervous at first letting people see the mess - I usually do a binge clean before having people over - but they made me feel comfortable right away. They were both great in guiding us along and ensuring we were making progress, but were also very encouraging and made sure not to push too hard. I had a lot of clothes that I needed to sort through making decisions on whether to donate, throw away, store for the season, or keep. Gail was great at helping the process move along quickly. We also did a total reorganization of the kitchen and living spaces with Amber and Gail really complimenting each other to get the job done quickly and effectively. Amber was very helpful in recommending layout and flow and even provided a shopping list of things that we could purchase that would help with organization. We love the new spaces that we set up and got rid of a whole bunch of stuff we didn't need. I am so happy with the final product. I would absolutely recommend making the investment because now we have an organized place and a system that will be sustainable moving forward.

I purchased the $199 big deal for three hours with one organizer. I spoke with Amber beforehand and she was thoughtful about who would be best for organizing the workshop. She told me Brian was my best bet and she was right! He knew what all those odd little workshop dohickey things were and how to sort them, which was a lifesaver! I purchased the big deal on Friday and Brian was booked for Monday. Brian did a fantastic job, he ended up spending four hours organizing the workshop (I knew going in that three hours was probably not going to be enough time). Everything was organized by type of project (electrical, outdoor, plumbing etc...) the benches were neat and tidy, things were put into clear bins, organized on shelves and in drawers, the floor was clear of stuff, and Brian hauled out garbage for me. I would recommend the service if you need help with any organizing. Organizing my husband's workshop was his birthday present and he was thrilled! They took the most cluttered, unorganized space in my house (it had been accumulating stuff for four years) and made it a useable space. Afterwards I had two follow up phone calls from Marissa and Amber to ensure I was happy. Fantastic experience, great customer service, and overall wonderful people to work with.
