My parents used Isaac Rodriguez to fix the roof and it was "replaced" by him and his company. It started leaking and I called Isaac. He kept coming up with excuses on why he couldn't come out to see what the issue was and kept blaming it on other possible issues. His warranty is worthless. Don't use his company, it's all part of a "free roof" scam.

They started their work by not cover anything. Shingles damaged my siding and my neighbor. The pull the vent from the garage but never cover the holes. So they dropped loads of shingles on both my cars. Mind you a freshly painted car less the a month. The they the shingles is 1 color and the flat rolls in flat area are another color. They were to do a complete tear off with all wood. But they just aced pieces of wood on certain spots. So needless to say if look at the pics the roof is higher in certain areas. The as you can also see. They never removed the fascia. It is still exactly as they started. They did the gutters but are not connect at 1 corner because there is no wood installed in the fascia areas so they can screw into. No to say when it rains it sounds like a waterfall. Don't be surprised when I say that my roof now leaks worst then before they touched it. $19000 and it has to be done over about 50%. Not to say the holes on my siding and the deep scratch down to the primer on bothe cars. Here is the best...it is now exactly 1yr later and not finish. I can get no call backs from Isaac Rodriguez. There hasn't been a worker here in 9 months. My tenant worked for isaac and has not been called to work in 7 months because Isaac doesn't want to keep hearing him ask about my house. So now this month my tenant moved because he's embarressed to look at me and cannot afford the rent with working. It is your money and your decision. But if you hire this guy; your a fool. My tenant was telling me how he has 4 contracts at the same time. And he is doing the same thing to all of them. They are all complaining and they have all been waiting a long, long time for Isaac. I will not stop spreading the word about this guy until he is out of business. Eventually I will find this guy and it won't be pretty. My roof leaks right on top of my handicapped duaghter's new bed also. I had to pay a friend to get on the roof and seal the leak.

I hired Isaac Rodriguez as a general contractor for a house I purchased in January of 2008. Isaac is a true middle man charging a 100% mark up on service that you could obtain directly for a fraction of what he charges. After buying my house I found out that it needed much more repair than I first thought. Isaac came in as a life saver in the first week. He brought in guys to clear debris the day after we talked, and had a new roof on the place in about a week and a half. I still had significant work to do though and was very up front with him about how much money I had to spend. After the roof was on, it became harder and harder to get a hold of him. Frequently, he would not show up when he said he would and almost never returned calls if I was calling from a number that he recognized via caller ID. Finally, I hit the limit of my budget and only about a quarter of the work that we first talked about had been completed. I borrowed $2,500 from family to get some critical electrical work done (a new service entrance) and Isaac said he would have someone out there right away. Right away turned into a week, then two, then three then four. I told him that either I needed someone there to redo the service entrance in the next two days or I needed my money back. He swore on up and down that his electrician had already pulled the permits and that he was up and ready to go. I checked the next day with the city, and no permits had been pulled, and they had no idea who Isaac Rodriguez was or who his electrician was, or who I was. He flat out lied to my face for four weeks after taking my $2,500. Two months later I still have not gotten back that $2,500, and have not gotten a single return call from him to explain why. I can not stress strongly enough to please not do business with this guy. From the onset he is helpful and great, but as soon as he gets your upfront money, you are a lost cause. Under no circumstances do business with him.
