Absolutely fantastic ... I was really pleased with the work. The work was done efficiently, quickly, and cleanly (i.e. swept up after the project). Also the work was reasonably priced (against the other quotes I had received).

I called for an estimate and they said it would be $20 for each Schlage lock re-keying and $80 to completely change out. However, I didn't think to ask about labor, which of course was an additional factor in the final bill. The person who did the work was very professional and pleasant. He looked over all my locks and made helpful suggestions about the best replacements to fit my needs. He had all the necessary equipment on hand in his vehicle. It took less than an hour.

I would definitely contact this locksmith again. Although they were unable to copy the keys we presented to them (because they did not have the correct key forms in stock), they called their competitor down the street, confirmed they had the key forms and sent us to see them. They were extremely courteous and apolegetic, assisting us the best way possible. Excellent customer service.

We just moved into our new home and had 5 different keys for house, garage and gates. We called amazing locks and they came out the following day to rekey all our locks, so we have just two keys...one house, one garage/gate. Our technician worked quickly, and we are very happy

The company arranged a visit for their home estimate at a very convenient time for us. The amount quoted was a pleasant surprise, since I had just received one more than twice the same work. And in the end, the actual charge was the same as the quote. The worker sent out was efficient and did an excellent job. He was able to explain the reason for one choice I asked about. The only downside was some sawdust that I had to clean up and that the workman did not have any plastic "booties" to help avoid tracking it. He explained to me that his manager had tried but was unable to obtain a supply of them.

Amazing lock did a great job. They provided a free estimate and stuck to it when they did the job. We had some unique requests for our condo building and they were very accommodating. I would definitely use them again, and have in the past!

Professional, Prompt, and Price was right. They answered the phone immediately (no holding or waiting for call backs), gave me an explanation of what they would do and quoted price. Serviceman arrived within the hour (and a little ahead of schedule), called me when he arrived (as requested) and had the job done in 10 minutes. Price was actually less than what was quoted with Angies List discount.

On time, professional, efficient and did quality work. I was pleased with the lock sets they provided and will definitely use them again.

David showed up right on time (actually a couple minutes early). He asked for my keys and got right to work. He spent about 15 minutes completing the rekeying of my front door. He was very efficient and friendly. When he was done, he left me the keys I had asked for and quickly took care of payment. I was very pleased with how prompt and efficient he was.

He showed up punctually. He fixed the problem, it was not expensive. I would recommend them.

Nick? ( I am terrible rememeberting names) showed up at 9:20. When I made the appt. they quoted a 9 AM-11 AM arrival. He was very polite and wooked quickly. He was so fast that I had to ask him if he remembered to do the garagew and back gate ( he did...again worked very quickly). I would recommend them and I hope to not need a locksmith in the immediate future. A bit pricey but then again you get what you pay for!!!

I made the call. They answered the phone and set up an appointment the very same day. I've used Amazing twice before, but given how big this job was, I was assuming I"d need to schedule it - so that was a nice surprise. Gerald came out right on time and got to work. He was friendly with my curious and rambunctious kids, while still staying on task and getting the job done. It was all finished in half the time I'd expected it to take. He gave me options for saving money and advice on how to inexpensively secure my garage door (that has a window). He made sure everything worked properly before he left, oiling older latches, etc. I felt like the price was completely fair for all the work that was done. Will use them everytime I need locksmith services.

I have used Amazing Lock for years and have always found them to be very responsive and reliable. I sometimes try to change locksets myself and always regret it. I need some further work done on my vintage door closer and an interior entryway lockset and will be having them back.

I had a very good service from them. They came right out and were very good. I was happy with them and would definitely hire them again.

We needed four locks changed and wanted to have one key for several locks on our back door. The locksmith arrived right on time and was very efficient and friendly. The work took about forty minutes. He provided two sets of keys and was on his way. I had forgotten to tender the Angie's List coupon while the locksmith was at the house. I called the office and they took the discount off the total. Overall, it was a good experience and I would use them again.

Called at 9:30 am on the day, he came around noon and spent an hour getting things right. He kept me informed as to his progress--it was a fiddly job-- and charged me a good price when he was finished.

I made an appointment with Amazing Locks to replace a mailbox key and to re-key my front and back door locks. The appointment was for Friday, April 29th, 2011 between 10AM and 1PM. I called Amazing Locks to let them know that they could send someone sooner if possible. Not only did they not send someone early, they also didn't send someone between 10AM and 1PM. This is the first recommendation I have used since joining Angie's List so you can imagine my disappointment. As it turns out, Amazing Locks had the wrong phone # for me and my door bell was not working. So I certainly had to take responsibilty for my part in the matter (hence the overall good/great review). We rescheduled for Saturday, April 30th, verified contact information and a locksmith arrived at 8AM sharp! He worked very quickly and was incredibly professional. Thumbs up from me!

This company was very uncooperative about providing services outside of conventional M-F 9-5 hours. The man who answered the phone was gruff and unhelpful when I asked if it was possible to have someone come in the evening or on Saturday to give an estimate. He told me there was no way we were going to find a locksmith to do the work outside of those hours. He wouldn't even try to come on a weekend early in the morning (before 9am) or later in the day (4pm). We did in fact find a very nice and helpful company who came on Sunday afternoon, and did not even charge us for non-business hours. If you want to get some nice guys with very flexible schedules call No Stop Lock instead.

Frank showed up on time and finished in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. He invoice was actually below the initial quote.

We agreed on a date and time. I had another property to work on, and they called my cell to inform me they would arrive at the building by 11:00AM. They arrived on time, I gave them access to the common area, and went back to work at my other property. Around 4:30PM that day I received a cell call from Amazing Lock informing me the work was complete. Upon inspection I was pleased and impressed, all work performed professionally. Tenants could use one of their existing keys to enter all exterior doorways and discard their other key. I emailed all tenants informing them which key was needed and which key to discard. It was a seamless transition and would recommend them without hesitation.

When another company did not arrive for a scheduled appointment I called and was told they could not visit the property for almost a week! No call, no apology, no courtesy. And I had done business with this firm before several times. So went on Angie's List and found Amazing Lock with amazing reviews. In my neighborhood, family run business. Called and the work was done within a few hours for a reasonable fee (less than quoted by the no show company). The locksmith was very prompt, gave me a heads up call to tell me when he would arrive, was very courteous and careful. Great experience from all points of view.

I would use Amazing Lock Service again. A team of two locksmiths arrived promptly at the scheduled time, worked fast, and made sure that all the newly installed or re-keyed locks were in working order before leaving. Prompt, professional and courteous.

I called Amazing Lock because of their high Angie's List rating. I'm a landlord and have 3 rental properties. Managing all the keys during move ins/and move outs is driving me crazy. I've lost track of what keys go where. I called Amazing Lock to help me figure it out and give me some best practice information on how to manage all the locks. On the phone they were very helpful. However when the technician showed up he only had 2 keys per lock and no real ideas on how to help me manage this process. I need more than 2 copies for my tenants. He said it wasn't worth it for him to go all the way back to the office for one key. He suggested I go to Home Depot. My plan when hiring a professional was to turn the process over to them, not to run around making copies. The technician did offer to come back in the afternoon with more keys and a better solution. Since my tenants were coming to pick up their new keys I had to come up with an alternative before the afternoon. I did so and ultimately did not use Amazing Lock. I think they would be fine for a residential lock change or lock out. However, for someone who's managing a business, they weren't right for me.
