They were very responsive. We needed it done relatively quickly and they were able to do the work quickly for us. The worker was very friendly and professional. We would use them again.

My experience was OK. He showed up at the end of his time frame but he was fast. Their price was fair. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

To my surprise, our 18 month old daughter locked herself in the powder room. No matter how much coaxing I tried, she could not unlock the door. I called A Amazing right away; I have Angie's List bookmarked on my home page and so I was able to quickly launch a search for locksmiths and choose one nearby. The gentleman who was on the phone was fantastic. He said he would "pull a guy off a job" to help us out. I kept it together until he said, "don't worry, ma'am, we'll get your baby out", and I choked up a bit. He was so helpful and kind, I am very grateful. Next the technician called me about 3 minutes later and was on his way. He said he was still 20 minutes away. I asked him about calling the police and he told me that the fire department would come and help, but often break a door down to do it. Our bathroom is is so little I couldn't imagine our little baby on the other side of the door by herself experiencing a door being broken down! I decided to wait it out (flash cards under the door, lots of songs, etc.) and he arrived exactly 20 minutes later. Our daughter was out of the bathroom in 15 seconds at the most, and the locksmith showed me how to trip the lock in the event that this should happen again. In a way, it was the best $80 I ever spent! On the way out, the locksmith also fixed our front door lock that was loose, which was way above and beyond. Although I hope to never need locksmith services again, I would highly recommend A Amazing without hesitation.

I found them via Angie's List and they came to replace the locks on a very hectic move-in day. I was still working with the security system representative when the locksmith came over. I showed him what to do, he did it, gave me the bill which seemed reasonable compared to other comparisons I've seen via Angie's List, and left. I was just relieved that he worked quickly and didn't need me around at all to babysit him. Additionally, he loosened up one of the sticky locks when he replaced it.

I called to have someone come and take a look at our lock and even though I let them know it wasn't an emergency, they sent someone out the next day. Bill did an excellent job. He arrived on time, looked at the lock, and made it work with the keys that didn't work previously. The whole job took about 30 minutes, most of which he was working on the keys, so it did not take up a lot of my time. He was very polite and now everyone can get into the building with their keys!

They did a fantastic job. I called to discuss a quote on a Tuesday and Bill got back to me within 10 minutes. When I spoke with Bill the next day, he was able to come out and do the work that day. He was done in less then an hour. I have used them before and would use them again.

My experience with Frank from this company was wonderful He arrived within 10 minutes on a Friday evening and had the situation under control within moments.

They just did this on Friday and everything turned out great. They are really good. Sometimes they can be a little air headed, but they do it until they get it right. They are very nice and the locks are holding up fine so far. I had no problems with them at all really.

Great. They were on time and very knowledgeable. They even help me set-up "guest keys" so that I could have a master key that opened all locks and then another key that would only open the bottom locks.

An AMAZING no show! Though they promised to have someone at our home today between 1-4 pm (sound like the cable company?), no one showed. When I called around 7 pm to inquire, the guy on "emergency" duty had no interest in addressing the situation, he just wanted to sell services at "emergency" prices. "I am sorry" is not in his vocabulary. It may be in yours if you use these guys.

The contractors came late in the evening to change my locks. It was speedy and very professional. Price is high but you get what you pay for and yet there are more expensive locksmiths out there. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have been more pleased. Jessie came out, because I accidentally lost the keys to my new condo. He came out on a Sunday evening and had me back in, in no time. He even had to make a second trip, because the locks were being difficult. He was really cool throughout, the whole process.

I called at 5:45 and was told that someone could be at my place in half an hour. The repairman arrived in under that [they're located only about 3 blocks away from my home, but that doesn't always guarantee speedy service!]. He got the broken half key out of the lock, tested a spare key, and determined that the lock still works fine, then charged the basic service visit rate of $75, even though this was after normal working hours, and was on his way again in very nearly half an hour after I placed the initial call!

They arrived on schedule, and completed the work promptly. They threw in the multiple keys I requested at no additional charge. Their price was less than other locksmiths I called.

I had broken the key to my apartment in the lock itself. At first, John (I think that was his name) tried to take the key out so that I wouldn't have to pay for the installation of a new one. After trying that for a while, he drilled the lock out and told me I had two options: He could either install a new one or I could buy my own and install it myself (there were two locks on the door so I wasn't compromising my safety). I appreciated that he didn't try and sell me on his services, but presented me options. And he communicated every step of the way exactly how much I would spend for A, B & C options. I went ahead and asked him to install the lock and the whole thing cost exactly what I thought I was going to pay beforehand. Oh yeah, and this was at 1:30 in the morning. I was relieved to know they were a real, honest-to-goodness 24 hour operation.

I called one other Locksmith from your list. They couldn't come over till next week. I had a coupon for $10 off a service call from the phone book (I was told that there is also one on their website). As luck would have it, they had a cancellation. Within 25 minutes, their locksmith was here to do the job. They are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

VERY WELL. THE LOCKSMITH SHOWED UP WITHIN FIVE HOURS, REPLACED THE LOCK, AND WAS VERY REASONABLE.

Called them on Thursday and arranged for them to come on Friday. They showed up on time and were courteous and quick. Before they left, Bill made sure that I tried all the locks to make sure that the key worked.

I called late one afternoon to set-up an appointment to have the work done. We set the appointment for a two hour window during the following afternoon. Right before the two hour time period was up, I got a call from A Amazing that the locksmith was running late and would arrive within the next hour. Considering we had a major snow storm that morning, I had expected the locksmith to run late and I was very pleased and a bit surprised that they called to let me know. Forty-five minutes later, the locksmith arrived, quickly fixed the broken handle by finding a needed pin that had fallen into the door, replaced the electric strike, and re-keyed the doors. He also made a recommendation about replacing the automatic door closing mechanism which would help prevent problems with door in the future. The locksmith was very professional and accommodating.

They were very polite in trying to help. However, I was told that Schlage didn't make such a unit in the dimensions that I needed. And that I would have to get something custom ordered. However, I was able to find a vendor on the Internet that deals with Schlage exclusively. After e-mailing Schlage directly to ask what item #'s I needed, I called this vendor, and he directed me to order the exact pieces that I needed. All for under $70!

Bill was very efficient gving us an estimate on the day after I called and sheduling the work the following week. Due to the special nature of our door width Bill ordered the parts right away and took care of installing right away.
