Amazing Lock Service Inc

Discovered that the lock was broken around 10am. Called Amazing Lock Service around 10:45am. A service rep was at the house by noon, problem solved by 12:30pm. Highly recommended!

The locksmith arrived exactly when they said they would and called ahead of time to confirm their arrival. He made an assessment of the problem and determined that the old deadbolt could not be repaired. He repaired and replaced the spindle and attached new doorknobs as the antique ones didn't fit the new spindle. I was a little disappointed that he couldn't use the old knobs, but I may be able to find a spindle that will fit now that the broken spindle was removed. $95 of the total cost was labor and trip charge for the 20 minute roundtrip drive to and from my house.

David was prompt and got right to work. The first lock he re-keyed was old and wasn't preforming as he thought it should. He worked for a better part of an hour to get that lock to work better - all without charge and it was very evident that he knew locks. This wasn't just someone who didn't know what he was doing and made it look like he did! The other three locks went without problems. He was careful to clean up as he went and he was professional. I would gladly employee Amazing Lock again!!!

Very quick on scheduling and flexible with us when we needed to reschedule due to a delay in home closing....They were on time, friendly and efficient. He even fixed a couple of alignment issues with the door (deadbolt was bumping up against the frame so you had to pull the door slightly to get it to lock)....I mentioned Angie's List after the fact and he was kind enough to re-write the invoice and give me the AL discount. Overall, a great experience with them. I would definitely recommend and use again.

David from A Amazing did a great job. He arrived during the time window we were expecting (9am-12pm) and after I explained what we needed done, he went to work on the task. The job was accomplished quickly and correctly. All of our door locks now close smoothly. In addition to re-keying the locks, he also found one problem area on a back gate. Water was pooling in an interior cavity of the fencing, which was causing rust to form on the lock. David drilled out drainage holes to prevent the problem from recurring and replaced the lockset. He also was helpful in answering questions I had on general home security. David also guaranteed their work for three months if there should be any issues. We found A Amazing to be very professional and did their job well.

Our front door lock broke three weeks after moving into our new house. On top of that all three locks in the house were difficult to use/turn. I called A Amazing on Saturday afternoon right after the lock broke. He was honest with me that replacing each lock would be $60 a pop plus labor. He recommended I go to Home Depot and buy the locks and then call him to schedule time for him to come out to install. I called him at 5pm on Saturday night. He promised to be out Sunday between 11-1 and he was. Service took and hour. Would have been faster however who ever installed the last locks did a bad job and they weren't level. So he fixed that, swapped out the locks etc. He was a good guy for having me spend less money that way and had me test everything out before he left. I'll def use them again if something comes up.

Amazing was prompt, and the guy who made the servic call (Bill) was EXTREMELY courteous and knowledgeable. He tweaked the positioning on lock so as to make it work more easily. He looked at the other, and told me it was not working properly because it was missing a part the keep the lock in alignment. He did not have the part, but directed me to a wholesale hardware company nearby that carried it. Self-installation of that part is a snap. Would recommend them again without hesitation!

Was provided with an estimate over the phone and a 2-hour window for service. The locksmith called me to verify the order on his way to get supplies and arrived within 30 minutes of the start of the time window. All rekeys and installations were complete in 45 minutes and the final price, including a hefty $70 travel charge, came in below the original estimate. David, the locksmith, was helpful and professional. Good job.

It was quick and efficient. They came on site. I was happy and it was easy and good.

They were fine. There had no problems and would use them again.

EVERYTHING WENT FINE. NOEL CAME AND CHECK THIS OUT, AND THEN ORDERED THE PART NEEDED. HE CAME BACK AND INSTALLED IT, NOW IT IS WORKING PERFECTLY. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL AND DID REPAIR THE BUZZER, UNLIKE THE OTHER COMPANY WE CONTACTED IN THE PAST.

I was out of town when we used them, but it worked out great and they were great. We have a multi flat building and it was a Persian lock, but I don?t know what the cost was. My wife dealt with the whole thing and she said that they were great, it was pretty smooth and everything well. They quality was fabulous.

Dave was the guy who came out to the house. He appeared on time and was courteous and professional. He even fixed the door jam on the door free of charge. I highly recommend this company.

They are great. They are very friendly and helpful. They are very prompt. The lock cost me around $40. They installed the locks for me years ago. I needed to change the lock when I got a new door and they got me the lock for me. They didn?t try to rip me off. Their price was okay, but I normally buy expensive locks. I will be using them again soon.

They were great. The man was just a very nice person, and he did a nice job.

Pleasant experience from the start. I had to call back to change the date I wanted the locks changed and they could not be nicer. They did a great job and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

A company called YourLocksmith.com installed junk locks for inflated prices. Amazing's Dave came out and replaced them with quality Schlage locks and did a number of additional things free in terms of adjusting doors, etc. This is the company you want to go with.

When I finally got them to show up the work went smoothly and quickly. I chose this company because of their Angie's List awards and reviews. I called to get a quote to have these locks rekeyed and that I needed 30keys for my condo building tenants. I also mentioned I would like to see about reinforcing my back door and servicing the buzzer on the front door. They told me each re-keyed cylinder came with 2 new keys and the total to have them rekeyed was $270 the other work they could a**** on-site. When I called to schedule them the owner stated the price should actually be $295. I said fine I guess whats $25 and scheduled them to come out on a Friday and let them pick the time of 1-3pm. Around 3:10pm I called and asked where the guy was and he said he would be there in 10min. 20min later he finally showed up. The rekeying went smoothly and the 2 guys were pleasant and efficient. when i asked about fixing the buzzer and looking at the back door they said they didn't have enough time that night and would call me with a quote for the rest. It is now almost 2 weeks later and no call. On top of that at the end of the call i find out that the 30 extra keys I had already payed for were now additonal to the rekeying charge of $295 so all together it now cost me $350. I am not impressed for a company that was so highly remarked on Angie's List.

We had a slight communication on the appointment (they only give a window - not an exact time). But once we had that straightened out, they quickly came back out and gave an estimate on the work to be done. We set up an appointment the next day, and they called before they came to alert us they were on their way. The work was done quickly and were very helpful and had the job done very quickly.

Dave Laskowski was awesome and amazing. He was efficient and conscientious, and took steps to make sure the problem doesn't happen again. He took a look at some other issues I was concerned about and was extremely helpful in his recommendations. I will call him again if the need arises, and would refer him with confidence.

I was impressed - we showed up randomly with the bikes (fortunately we could bring it to them which was $70 cheaper) and they had the lock off within 10 minutes.
