No work was performed. The contractor never bothered to call me back.

It was easy, convenient....guy was very knowledgable

I don't know where to start. Basically my furnace died last Friday. Couldn't be repaired over the weekend by my existing furnace maintenance company. Furnace was 30 years old, so it was no surprise. Over the past 3 days I received 3 estimates from 3 different HVAC companies. All Temp was the last company that gave me the quote. What can I say. From the moment they stepped into my house yesterday afternoon and gave me an estimate the experience has been STELLAR. All Temp not only gave me the best price on the #1 rated furnace, but it was 2-3 models above what the other two vendors quoted. No games. No bait and switch. Straight forward great price. Then this morning @ 9:30 am two very professional installers rang my door bell. Over the next 3 hours they removed my old furnace, installed the new one, installed a humidifier, installed a new thermostat and fixed a air return. Ohh and cleaned up everything. Everything they did was to specification. Polite, professional and good at their jobs. If they are an example of the employees working for All Temp, then they have to have one h*** of a team. Sadly these days our expectation of vendors is less than stellar. Angies list helps us find the good people to hire. Angie's list came through for me again. I could not be happier. I woke up this morning and my home was 44 degrees inside. Tonight it is a toasty 72. All Temp has a new raving fan. I can see why they are #1 on Angie's list for Chicago.

Everything went according to plan.

Gary set up an appointment giving me choices of available times and dates. Carlos arrived on time and immediately went to work. He was able to remove the "monster" cabinet carefully, in one piece and without damaging walls or doorways. After removing it, he noticed that some of the closet shelves were in danger of coming off the wall so he put in extra supports and added an unused shelf to another section of wall. My closet is now organized and much more spacious. I will be calling Gary's Handyman Service again in the near future. I was so impressed with Carlos's consideration, professionalism, and knowledge. I've never had this experience with any other handyman services I've used in the past. The price was quite reasonable. Thanks to Angie's List for introducing me to the perfect handyman.

Everything went better than expected. The technician arrived on-time and took great care while performing his job and made sure to consider me and my home as he was here. As I'm a very hands-on kind of guy, I asked a lot of questions and found the technician very helpful and willing to explain things in detail so I could understand just what was going on and what I was paying for. Overall things went very well and I expect to contact All Temp for my servicing needs in the future.

Came home to a cold house due to furnace not working.Called All Temp because we had previously been satisfied with their service. We were informed of the cost of an emergency service call. Serviceman,Thorn, from the Bolingbrook office arrived around 7pm as expected. He verified the problem (the furnace has a flashing light trouble system} and was able to replace the broken part. He explained his work to my husband.Thorn was friendly, professional,prompt and had our furnace working within the hour. All Temp also gave me the Angie's List discount. This is the second time we have used and been satisfied with the service from All Temp.

The representative was prompt and pleasant to work with. He declared the units in good shape, only added the required amount of freon, and didn't try to up-sell me.

Came out same day, was fast, efficient, courteous. Kevin Ruff was very nice and would definitely go with this company again when it is time to replace my water heater for a new one.

Very positive experience. When I called, the operator that took my information was polite and helpful. We scheduled an appointment for the following morning, and the technician arrived within the window of time promised and called ahead of time as promised. He introduced himself by name, shook my hand, and offered to put on shoe covers to prevent tracking in mud on the carpeting. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty control board, but spent some extra time making sure that this was in fact the case. He then called to price the part, drove to the supply house to get it, and spent 1/2 hour installing it. He seemed very knowledgable and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I forgot to check Angie's List for a coupon, but the technician asked if I was a member, and offered to take 15% off since I was. My only gripe is the cost of the part that he installed. After he left, I checked it out online, and it was available for nearly 1/3 of what I paid ($167 vs. $480). That said, I don't have the knowledge base to either diagnose or repair these units myself, so I don't see how I would have been able to take advantage of the internet part. I realize also, that I'm paying for the convenience of the technician being able to pick it up locally and install it in one service call. I suppose I could have ordered the part myself, and had him come back to do the install. That would have meant a couple more days of no heat, the cost of another service call, and the possibility that the part wasn't compatible. I'm paying more (a lot more) for the local option, but I guess it comes with some benefits that I wouldn't get with the online one. All in all, I'm satisfied with the experience and would use the company again.

All-Temp is my go to company for furnace and a/c issues. I had no idea they handled water heaters till looking for companies to handle my problem on Angie's List this morning. I called them this morning around 8:45 and Roberto was at my house by 10:30. I explained the problem to Roberto and he first went about cleaning everything inside the burner assembly area. Once he got all the dirt, dust and dog hair out, he had no problem firing up the water heater and getting the full flame. He wanted to make sure that everything was working correctly so he stuck around and ran several test cycles, powering everything down and up again. While doing this he called the company that made the water heater for me to check on the status of my warranty. Turns out it was only for 6 years and it expired a few months ago. Good to know... After a few more tests he felt confident he could leave. If I continue to have problems he recommended replacing the pilot assembly/ignition area. They won't charge me for the call if they need to come back. He also said a full replacement isn't necessary at this time. He recommended that when I have All-Temp come out for ac/furnace cleaning or service to just ask them to clean the water heater burner area as well - usually once a year is all it needs. I was very happy with Roberto/All-Temp's service and will now use them for my water heater issues as well.

We scheduled the service with no problem and they arrived on-time on the day of the service. We have a pretty old boiler and the technician had no issues with servicing the boiler. Everything was performed as expected and the boiler has run well all winter. We would use All-Temp again.

Since I got the unit looked at in the fall season, I couln't get a good idea of how well it would perform in summer months until the following year. I must say that I don't think the unit kept the house as cool as previous years once the summer months did come. It was a very hot summer in 2012, so this could have something to do with it. I do want to add that during the winter season the same year the technician came out, the furnace stopped working. I mention this because I've used this same company in the past and each time a few months later something else goes wrong with my unit. I have managed to fix the problems myself and therefore don't have to call them back. I jsut think it's really strange that this happens the way it does.

Called All Temp at 10:30am, they had someone here by 1:00pm. Inspected furnace and found a faulty switch. Did furnace annual service and replaced switch. Working great. Very nice and knowledgeable technician. Will definitely be using them in the spring for my AC tune-up.

They did a good job. It was sufficient what they did. They did what was necessary. They did what they had to do to get the furnace running.

We had used them for services previously. They are always good at responding to calls and always get an appointment within a week. The installation went smoothly.

We were very pleased with the service.

The temperature in my home is now regulated and I no longer have periods where the furnace will not light.

They replaced my furnance and a/c. I knew in November that my furnace was on its last legs, so I called and got some quotes. Then in January, I came home to a 41 degree home and decided it was time to do the work. All Temp had a competitive price with the best warrenty. They explained the different types of furnaces and informed me of the tax incentives and rebates available so that I better, more efficient model had the same price as a less efficient model. They installed right away and everything looks to have been done correctly. Its been in for almost a month and I've had no issues. While the furnance was $6700, I will get $1100 in rebates and tax incentives.

Last year my heat was not working, it would not switch on and off. They were here within 2 hours. They are the best.

We recently had an energy efficiency audit performed as part of the Nicor/ ComEd Energy Efficiency Program. The inspector determined that our furnace and water heater were improperly vented. He stated that no further work could be done until this situation was rectified by a competent HVAC tech. He also recommended that a metal sleeve be installed in the chimney to further improve venting efficiency. I called All Temp on Friday afternoon, and explained the problem to the service representative. I requested that a HVAC technician be dispatched to provide an estimate. The rep stated that a tech would call no later than Monday to schedule an appointment. I did not receive a call, so I contacted All Temp once again on the following Tuesday. I explained the situation again, and was assured that a tech would call to schedule an appointment "within the next day or two." That was 6 days ago. I give up. I will call another firm.

They were able to get me scheduled in the time frame that I needed, and they came on time. Their work was fine.

I was pleased with their work and I would hire them again.
