All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning

Thanks to all the reviews, i wanted to use them. I booked a date which was inline with many other contractors in my new home. They called me back to say that they made a mistake and needed to be rescheduled, which i reluctantly accepted. I thus moved around some other contractors on my end. Finally I called to ask insisting if there was no other way. I left a voicemail. The day before the job I called back many times to get an answer and after the 3rd call, I finally heard that sorry my appointment was cancelled because of my message. The only problem I never cancelled, i just asked IF it was possible to get back my initial slot. Huge Mess and Miscommunication.! Since my timing was short I immediately found someone else on Angies (thank you Angies, lifesaver). In the meantime , they tried to call back to say they finally could come the next day.. Well too little too late! I'm sure they do a good job but need to have less people handling the scheduling.! Too messy!

Although I am sure the phones at AllTemp were ringing off the hook by the time I called (the day after area-wide flooding), I was given a window for the very next day (they promised it would be before 1) and my service man Zac arrived by nine. Zac was juggling appointments, calls to order parts for other jobs and was being bombarded by friends trying to reach him; it was his birthday, but he canceled his day off and came in because he knew how many people were having problems related to the weather. Zac handled several phone calls to the office as he opened the furnace and quickly assessed the problem. He was friendly and kind as I went over my situation, simultaneously looking at my water heater and assuring me it was fine. He ordered my part and left immediately to pick it up and was back in an hour and did the repair. This as other colleagues were calling him and he walked them through procedures on their repair jobs. He gave me great advice and so helpful as he walked me through follow-up, leaving me his personal cell phone number so I could contact him directly if there were any problems during the week. I have done both sales and service through All Temp, and I have been satisfied with their business, but Zac made me feel like he was genuinely on my side. When I call for service again I will be asking for Zac's first opening.

Overall I am very pleased with the service I received from All Temp. Furnace is running fine now and the tech was friendly, professional, and helpful.

I called All Temp for an estimate on A/C, and we made an appointment for the following week for a representative to come to our house and give us an estimate. We had just purchased the house, and weren't even living there yet, so we went to the house specifically for this estimate. Due to heavy rains, many roads were closed. The appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM. We assumed the representative would be a little late, but by 9:30 we became slightly concerned. I called and they didn't seem to know who was supposed to be coming, and someone promised to call me back right away. By 9:50 I hadn't heard back from anyone, so I called back and spoke to a different person who promised to call me back right away. By 10:15 I called and informed them we were leaving. There was never an apology made, and the person just asked me to reschedule. I declined because they had already made the decision to go with a competitor far easier for me!

Called All Temp, got a rep out to quote us on air conditioning. It took three-four phone calls for the scheduler to get it correct, but I appreciated his dedication. The rep was a little late, but he gave us a good price - $500 cheaper than the other guy. The rep told us he would email us the final quote. We really liked the competitors but $500 is a lot to swallow. The next afternoon we emailed the rep asking when we'd get the quote and got a one-word reply: "Today". Well, we never did get that emailed quote, and the competitors (a much smaller, local company) were able to get within $200 of All Temp's price. We had our A/C within a week of our first calling them. A week or two after our A/C was installed, I finally got a call from All Temp asking about the quote. I told him I never got it, and he got very defensive. "Well, I sent it to you!" I told him that I was sorry but we went with the competitors. He hung up on me. Not professional at ALL.

Roberto from All Temp was so professional and knowledgeable. He was punctual, did the job efficiently (we had furnace and water heater serviced/cleaned), and explained to me everything he was doing/had done. Will definitely call them in the future for servicing.

All Temp did a great jog. I will definitely use them again.

Minor complaint involved scheduling service. Phone contact wasn't very pleasant, and I could hear her sighing with impatience during our conversation.

We just purchased a new home, and had the gas turned on, but needed the furnace serviced before we could run it. All Temp was professional and courteous on the initial phone call and the technician was nice and helpful. He educated us on our furnace and the service it would need in the long run. B for punctuality because we were told he would arrive closer to 12:00 than 5:00 but arrived at 4:00.

I discovered late in the evening that my humidifier sprang a leak. My furnace was flooded. All Temp came to the rescue! Dried my furnace and got it back working. Shut off the humidifier and then came back the next day to replace the broken hose. I thought I would be replacing the whole furnace, but they assured me after it was dried, it would work just fine, and it did! Many thanks to All Temp for their integrity and straight shooting with their customers.

We have used All-Temp for annual furnace/ac clean and check for several years. In 2012, we learned through their pre-season check, that our heat exchanger had cracks, it was time to replace our 20+ yr. old furnace. John Lillis came to our residence the morning of Thanksgiving Day, to give an estimate for our new system. The next day, All-Temp had Gary and his installation crew out the next morning, with our new Bryant heating/ac system. They handled the removal of our old system, did an excellent clean-up and our new system was running by that afternoon. Needless to say, we were very impressed with our overall experience with All-Temp. Our new system is highly efficient, runs very quiet, and we have seen big savings on our gas bill. The responsiveness they showed, even over a holiday weekend will keep us using and recommending All-Temp.

Came on time and did an outstanding job. Would definitely use them again.

One very cold morning I awoke to a very cold house. I immediately ran downstairs to turn up the heat but nothing happened. So I ran to the basement to check the furnance and a humming noise was coming from inside as if it was struggling to turn on. I ran to get my husband and he surmised that we should turn it off and call a heating company. I immediately turn to Angie's List. I narrowed my search down to 3 companies, emailed them and got an immediate response from 2. Both had A ratings so I chose the one with the best estimate, All Temp Heating & Cooling. I spoke to their customer service rep who was very courteous and was genuinely concerned for my situation. A technician was dispatched within 2hrs. Almost immediately upon inspecting our furnance he knew what was wrong. The motor had worked its last day! He then preceded to explain everything thoroughly to my husband and I and quoted us a reasonable price that became even better when he applied our Angie's List coupon. And just like that...we were nice and toasty again! The following week I notice a very faint gas smell coming from the furnance. So I called our gas company and a small gas leak was discovered around one of the pipes. They shut off the gas and I called All Temp. Again, within 2hrs a technician was dispatched and the gas leak sealed. And just like that...we were back in business again! And the best part...No Charge! I found All Temp to be very professional, punctual and responsive. The price was fair and so far the furnance is working just fine. Our furnance and water heater are both old and we plan to upgrade each within the next 2yrs. All Temp will definitely be considered as our first choice.

They very throughly examined our a/c unit and were able to quickly identify the problems. The man took his time and was very helpful at answering all of our questions. We really liked his professionalism and would hire him again.

My thermostat was not working properly. So I called All Temp and Miguel from All Temp arrived very promptly at the time they said. Miguel immediately took the time to check everything out with the furnace first and gave it a clean bill of health. Then checked out thermostat and informed me it needed to be replaced. Miguel took the time to travel to obtain one since he did not have one in his van and came back within minutes to install it and explained to me how the new one worked. Will absolutely do business again with All Temp and hopefully all the service techs are like Miguel.

I have had All Temp service both the main air conditioner and furnace in a rental home that I own in Wheaton, IL. My tenants were very pleased with All Temps's efficiency of working around their schedules, the 1 hour advance call prior to arrival and their ability to diagnose any issues and repairs in a timely manner. While I used the Angie's list coupons for the basic services, any additional work that needed to be done was appropriately explained and charged for. I am most pleased that I can trust their crew, without having to meet up with them. I will definitely continue to use them and would highly recommend their services!

All Temp was immediately responsive and sent a technician promptly. Upon arrival, my furnace was quickly assessed and the problem was found. I don't think it even took an hour to find and fix the problem. All of the findings were explained to me as the technician went along and before repairs were made. After making the repair, he verified that everything was fixed by waiting until my furnace turned itself on and off a couple times and determining that the temperature in my home raised appropriately. Considering that my furnace stopped working in the middle of February, imagine my relief and joy when my total bill came to just $130! All Temp is now my go-to HVAC company. I found them through an Angie's List Big Deal an for AC tune-up two summers ago, and they have serviced my AC for two years now. They have always been professional, prompt, courteous and have done excellent work for reasonable prices. But All Temp had never serviced my furnace before. So when my furnace went out in February, I initially called another company that had serviced my furnace for my home's previous owners (I thought it made sense to go with a company that was already familiar with my particular furnace). Well that company was very slow to respond, fairly difficult to work with, quoted me prices significantly higher than All Temp. I'm so happy that I went with All Temp! Now they know my AC unit and my furnace, and I do not plan to call anyone else again. I recommend them to friends. I also know others who have used them and are just as happy as I am. Another great thing about this company is that they reward customer loyalty with discounts for furture services.

The tech was awesome. He was very communicative and reported to me that there was a small issue that did not need attention. He was friendly and honest and did not try to sell me on things that I did not need.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Technician arrived on-time, was very professional, and completed the job in a timely fashion. After giving my unit a thorough cleaning he tested the performance and indicated it was running great...no additional freon was needed. He told me how I could periodically clean the unit myself with a simple garden hose. I'm always worried even with a Big Deal like this, that additional charges will come into the equation but that didn't happen here. And with the brutal summer last year, it was great having the peace of mind from the beginning that our A/C unit could hold up under the stress.
