I called on the evening of 1/7 to make an appointment for service on 1/8. The service technician, Julio called to confirm the appointment. He arrived promptly and was very professional. He did a great job analyzing the problem.

Even though I had only called about the leak, these other issues were addressed as well. Repairman came within the time frame during one of the worst weather days. He was clean and professional and thorough.

My experience with this company is contrary to the general reviews and I felt that members contacting this company for service should be aware that some of their service is inconsistent with the general consensus. Our heat went out on December 30, and I arranged for the earliest available service call on the morning of December 31st. The temperature in our living area had dropped to 42 degrees by the time the technician arrived. The technician diagnosed a faulty igniter and was concerned about the pressure switch in our 17 year old furnace. After replacing the igniter, the technician was unable to get the furnace to remain on ? it would go on for about a minute and then shut off ? and concluded a faulty pressure switch. The technician informed me that they did not stock this pressure switch and as their part suppliers were closed for the New year holiday after 10AM on December 31st, we would either have to wait until January 2nd for the repair, or pay an additional $300 to get someone to open the part depot without any guarantee of finding the correct part. As part of the $200 service fee for replacing the igniter, a furnace inspection and cleaning was included, however as we are in the middle of extensive renovations to part of our house, the technician felt that deferring the inspection and cleaning until the renovations were finished was well advised. The pressure switch repair was expected to be an additional $200 and he would schedule the service for January 2nd. As the furnace is 17 years old, I asked the technician whether he thought replacing the pressure switch was worth the expense vs installing a new high efficiency furnace. The technician was non-committal about the condition of the furnace and implied that superficially it appeared to be in good condition, only an inspection of the exchanger, which would be done during the cleaning, would reveal the true condition of the furnace. I accepted his offer of putting me in touch with an individual from their firm expert in estimating the cost of new furnaces. Within minutes leaving, I received a call from the salesperson for a new furnace ? who advised against putting any more money into our seventeen year old furnace. He offered to come out on January 1st, to estimate the cost of a new furnace. In the meantime, the contractor for our renovations, having been made aware of the situation was somewhat concerned about the house temperature, our comfort, his sub-contractors comfort and the condition of the plumbing with the house temperature at 42 degrees and falling and a wait over the New-Years holiday. He examined the furnace repair and the ostensibly faulty pressure switch and could not understand the diagnosis. He examined the new igniter and found that it had been installed a little crooked so that the flame sensor was not entirely in the flame. He corrected the seating of the igniter and the furnace started operating normally. On January 1st, the salesperson called to reschedule the new furnace sales appointment for later in the week and I relayed this story to him, yet indicated that I would still like to hear a proposal from him though I was less than satisfied with their competence on our repair. He scheduled a tentative time for January 4th and that was last I heard from them. No follow-up for the new furnace, no follow-up for the pressure switch repair ? it is as though I discovered their game and they would steer as clear as they could. I am left unimpressed by the professionalism and competence of this company.

I called this company today since furnace stopped working and weather is extremeily cold. Due to unforseen circumstances the technician was late on the arrival- service was between 10-2 pm but technician showed up after 4pm. Despite the late arrival, I am very pleased about the work he did, it took him only 15 min to fix the old furrnace and chance a broken part. I will definetely use this company again! Thank you!

The technician never showed up.

Miguel came out to look at my hot water tank. He said I needed to replace the heating element and he priced it at $1000-$1300. He said if I removed this one bolt, I could take the element to Home Depot and get a replacement. I couldn't get it out so I called the company. Come to find out, the sump pump had kicked on and tripped the circuit breaker. All that was needed was to flip the circuit breaker. I found out the worker had gotten fired. I've called the company twice to get a refund on my service charge fee since they misdiagnosed my problem but haven't heard back.

The technician Eddie was very nice and helpful. He examined the A/C unit in the attic, the equipment on the side of the house, and our thermostat/air intake area. Since All Temp had recently serviced our A/C as part of annual servicing (about a month prior), he waived the service fee for coming out to investigate our issue. He was able to quickly get the A/C working again and took the time to explain what might have caused the issue, in very laymen terms that I could actually understand. He then went on to give me a few tips, like the fact that we were spending way too much money on the expensive air conditioning filters. We don't have pets or allergies and in that scenario, he basically said that if we pay more than $2 for a filter we are paying too much. It's better to get cheaper filters and replace them monthly in order to ensure that our unit is getting sufficient airflow (as the thicker filter may have caused an issue in preventing enough air flow). I was pleasantly surprised that the service fee was waived and that our unit was fixed free of charge, along with getting some really helpful advice and information.

I called on a Saturday after finding my old water heater was leaking. Someone actually answered my call and got a sales guy to call me back for a quote. Quote was reasonable for a Bradford White water heater. They couldn't come out that day (too many furnace installs for people without heat, which I understand) but was able to come out on a Sunday. And they charged no premium for the weekend work. They arrived earlier than expected and did the work quickly. They took care to keep the rest of my house dry when moving the old unit. I'll consider these guys for my future hvac needs for sure.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. He was very honest and said there were no extra things that needed to be done. It was very nice. the whole interaction was pleasant.

Very happy! Our home is at a very comfortable temperature now.

Fast, friendly, attentive, very good new furnace estimate. Will probably hire this company when the dreaded day comes.

They did not even look at the condenser. They just try to up sell me a whole new system. I had another company out to fix the condenser and they got it up and running just fine. I was appauled with the lack of attention and professionalism by this company. I would not recommend this company to others.

We just love these guys. Sunday evening, heat wasn't working. Called All Temp. They came out in 40 minutes?amazing!!! Zak was tech?went right to work?identified the problem?worked on furnace about an hour?retested the furnace twice after repairing faulty burners. Zak couldn't be more capable or pleasant. Couldn't be happier or more impressed. Again, this is Sunday night! Anyway, life (and heat) back to normal. Highly recommend All Temp. This company is the best.

They were incredibly professional and did work in exact the amount of time they said they would and they gave me I think great rebates on the material and I think because I went through Angie's List they gave me a great deal on the entire process.

After having All Temp determine through an inspection that I needed a new furnace, I had the representative come and explain my options, with all the tax credits and the Nicor credit, I decided to get the fancy Lennox furnace. That night I got a call confirming my installation appointment and by 8:am they were there on time. They placed tarps on the floor creating a path for them to walk on as not to dirty my floor, and got to work right away. Both installers were pleasant and professional. After completion, I was brought to the basement and shown my new furnace, everything was cleaned up completely. My new furnace and all the connections where explained to me and how everything was installed, even the clanging noise that has been bothering me for years was fixed! It didn't take any longer than I was told, everyone from the first phone call to the explanation was perfect, I couldn't ask for anything better -- they will even register my warranties with the company. All Temp had a deal with my new furnace I received a new humdifier which was installed at the same time. I do feel very comforted that I have a Heating/AC company that I know will take very good care of me, I've had them for years with no complaints just compliments every time.

I finally felt that I had talked to someone who knew what they were talking about. I am a first time home owner and I have a lot of questions which all were answered. I felt like I could trust the opinion I was being given unlike many other companies out there.

I was told someone would come out after a couple of weeks to check on everything. So far nothing

I purchased the "$59 for a 20-Point Furnace Tune-Up" because my on-the-roof furnace stopped blowing. The technician was punctual, professional, and very helpful. He pointed out that the inducer blower had failed and offered to replace it ($480). Because the inducer blower was easy to access and my smartphone told me it was inexpensive, I declined and asked how to fix it myself. He showed me just what to do - except he didn't say that I needed to reattach a hose that he had disconnected during his inspection. Anyway, I bought the part online for $150, replaced it in 20 minutes, but the furnace still wouldn't run. Another technician came out, reconnected the hose in (less than) 2 minutes, and said I wouldn't be charged. Great service! Except headquarters called later demanding payment for a second trip charge - they eventually relented when I explained what happened. As pleasant an experience as one can hope for when your furnace stops working. I would definitely use All Temp again.

Very professional company that provides high quality services.

Our furnace stopped functioning some time on Friday afternoon but we didn't realize that this was the case until after 7:00 since the outside temperature was rising. We called our usual service provider but they couldn't provide assistance until mid-day Saturday. All Temp responded promptly by phone, guiding me through some basic diagnostics and then scheduling a service technician for about 10:00 PM that evening, saying he'd call when he was on his way. Eddie called about 10:30 saying he was coming and arrived shortly after. He diagnosed our problem as a blown fuse in the furnace, replaced it and inspected the rest of the system, covering a frayed wire with tape as a precaution since contact with the metal interior of the furnace would cause the fuse to blow again. He ran the system and tested it further by having it start multiple times. Eddie explained what he did and said that if the problem recurred it was almost certainly a short in the system which would need more extensive diagnosis. Our experience was excellent as were the results -- I'm writing this the next morning -- and the cost was acceptible for an after-hours emergency call. I'd call them again.

Arrived on time. Very profession and efficent sevice.

Came back from work to a 60 degree house. looked up a provider on angies list. found those guys, called them, service person called back an hour later and was home 30 minutes later very professional. replaced the control box (or whatever that's called) on our old furnace. Got it to work. Checked one last time with the old control box in case that was not a necessary change. didn't work Back to the new, Really appreciate the technician not trying to replace stuff that did not need to be replaced. I will use them again when I need to replace this 1986 old furnace.

The whole process was very seamless and professional. Date was scheduled and technician arrived around time stated and performed the inspection and cleanup very quick without any problems. The technician explained what he was doing and how often this should happen. I was really impressed with service and professionalism.
