The serviceman was on time, and very polite. He pointed out some problems with the way our furnace was hooked up and fixed them. We are very grateful and will recommend the company to others in our condo building.

Really, a pretty wonderful experience considering I was purchasing a furnace and not a car. HORRIBLE service after installation. Took over a month to get appointment to fix heat/humidifier, never showed up for appointment when I wasted half a day waiting for them. Made another appointment and they screwed that up too saying they didn't make any appointments on that day and that I was a liar. Wish I had used another company. Don't waste your time with All Temps!

I got an appt within 2 days of call, and was given a 4 hr window. Peter arrived within an hour of beginning of window. Was here about 45 minutes and did his job quickly and efficiently....told me a few things about my furnace that I was unaware of. Company does give discount to Angie's List members.

They came fast and did the work to what I hope will be my satisfaction.

Great! The service person had to run all over town to find the part, but despite that maintained a positive attitude. A good experience.

They took away the old unit and waited patiently for new concrete slab to be poured. Came back a couple weeks later & replaced AC. Unfortunately, the thermostat was installed incorrectly. After a few guys tried to fix it, they finally got it right. The new unit works well. The thermostat is now installed properly. To make up for the problematic thermostat installation, they did a little work on the furnace, when they didn't have to. I would use them again. They were honest about the thermostat. They were willing to make amends. They guys were polite and professional. Doing the extra work on the furnace was something that we did not expect. Great surprise!

Good estimate, professional and thorough. Had a problem with coil, they replaced immediately. Would use them again.

Eddie came out to our house; he was on time and very helpful. He went through the furnace as well as serviced the humidifier. I was not home at the time when he did his work. He called me and explained the condition of the entire furnace, what was good and what was bad. He believed the furnace was in good shape. He was very knowledgeable about the furnace and what indicators to watch for if there is a problem. He told me what the bill was and I asked about the discount club which I had seen on the web site. If you ''join'' the club, it is $130 a year, it includes a spring and fall cleaning and for an additional $30 a year, they will also service the humidifier. They have definitely won me as a customer.

The technician was scheduled the same day as the call. He arrived within the specified time window and fixed the problem promptly. I thought the price was excellent, and the technician very helpful.

No heat is an emergency. If the crew was busy, I understand. But not calling me to let me know what was going on and not responding to an emergency call is bad.

Correction to their Angie's List Reports - this company will not go to Buffalo Grove, even though we are just over the lake - cook county border. They referred me to their Wauconda, IL ''office'' which, after I pressed them, they admitted was a ''totally different'' company. Upon checking on the Wauconda company, I found it had higher prices and worse ratings than the Chicago one!

All Temp was professional, friendly, and did a great job from start to finish. The representatives on the phone are always helpful. The two men who came to do the installation were polite and friendly. They explained everything about the workings of the humidifier to me and showed me how to adjust it. We use All Temp twice a year to clean our furnace/air conditioner and they are always consistently great to work with.

Very good. The technician performed the work well, was prompt, and showed me how to change the filter.

They were very responsive - came on a Saturday within the time window given. The guy was very nice, did the work quickly and gave some good advice.

BECAUSE NOTHING SEEMED TO BE WRONG AT THE TIME OF THE SERVICE CALL, THE WORKMAN GAVE ME SOME TROUBLESHOOTING ADVICE IN CASE THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. AT LEAST THE VISIT AND THE MONEY SPENT WASN'T A TOTAL WASTE, AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR UNNECESSARY REPAIRS!

THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE. THE PERSON WHO CAME OUT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE WAS CONCISE AND ACCURATE. HE GAVE US ALL THE INFORMATION THAT WE NEEDED TO MAKE A DECISION, AND DIDN'T MISREPRESENT ANY INFORMATION. HE ALSO SAID THAT WE DIDN'T NEED TO MAKE A DOWN PAYMENT WHICH WAS UNUSUAL. WE SIGNED A CONTRACT AND PAID IN FULL AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION OF THE FURNACE. THE INSTALLER WAS GREAT. HE WAS POLITE, CLEAN, AND HAD A WONDERFUL SENSE OF PRIDE IN DOING THE JOB RIGHT. HE ALSO WAS WILLING TO SPEND EXTRA TIME TO INSTALL NEW AIR VENTS WHICH WAS NOT REQUIRED IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT. THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE FROM BEGINNING TO END, AND WE WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND THE INSTALLER TO ANYONE CONSIDERING NEW FURNACE REPLACEMENT.

MIKE, THE ESTIMATOR, AND DALE, THE INSTALLER, WERE SUPER. MIKE KNEW JUST WHAT WE NEEDED, RECOMMENDED THE PERFECT PRODUCT AT NEARLY 1/2 THE COST OF OTHER ESTIMATES RECEIVED. DALE CAME ON TIME EACH DAY AND WAS NEAT AND THOROUGH, MAKING SURE THE INSTALLATION IS SERVICEABLE THROUGH THE YEARS TO COME. HE GOT OUR HEAT BACK ON AFTER JUST ONE NIGHT, JUST BEFORE THE COLDEST NOVEMBER 2005 WEATHER. THE HOUSE HEAT IS JUST AS COMFORTABLE AS BEFORE, SO FAR; HOT WATER IS GREAT TOO, AND NOW WE HAVE A SPARE CHIMNEY FLUE!

EDDIE WAS VERY NICE AND PERSONABLE. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL. HE CAME ON THE SCHEDULED DATE AND WITHIN THE TIME FRAME THEY SAID HE WOULD. THEY ALSO GAVE US A 15% DISCOUNT FOR MENTIONING ANGIE'S LIST WHICH WAS VERY NICE. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE EXPERIENCE AND WOULD DEFINITELY CALL ON THEM AGAIN.

DYNAMITE! JOE KIELNIK DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, CRAFTED A SOLUTION, THEN INSTALLED THE SOLUTION. CAREFUL, METHODICAL, ACCURATE, AND CONSERVATIVE. GREAT TO HAVE JOE WORKING ON MY HEATING SYSTEM.

GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE SERVICE MAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM. THE REPAIR TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES. I FORGOT TO PROVIDE THE ANGIES LIST COUPON AND MAILED IT IN. I RECEIVED A CHECK TWO DAYS LATER FOR THE DISCOUNTED AMOUNT.

TOM YORK THE H&C TECHNICIAN WAS WONDERFUL. HE NOT ONLY FIXED MY FURNACE, REMOVED A DEAD BIRD AND CLEANED IT, BUT ALSO EDUCATED ME ABOUT MAINTENANCE AND PROPER USE OF THE FURNACE AND ATTACHED HUMIDIFIER. WONDERFUL SERVICE. IM EXTREMELY IMPRESSED AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
