It went great, the repairman offered advise on how to get better airflow to our rooms that tend to not get as much heat blown into them. He was knowledgeable, courteous and quick, although, it's been a few weeks and they haven't cashed the check yet.

They did a good job. Prompt and professional.

The estimator and then the installers arrived promptly, were consistently courteous and helpful and did quality work at a very reasonable price. In addition, there were two very minor details that needed resolution when they finished the job and they took care of them quickly and without any difficulty. The office staff are as nice as the installers. They were really a pleasure to work with in every respect. We are buying a new house and plan to use them again for work there.

Paul responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He was honest and forthright in going through what he believed I needed, didn't oversell me, and didn't pressure me at all. He tried to best match the products he had with what I needed, and competed with other estimates on the table. The installer was very courteous and friendly, and when we ran into a slight miscommunication on my part with financing and payment, Paul was very gracious, worked with me, gave me time to consider options, and accepted responsibility that lay more with me and the finance people than him. He acted throughout the whole process in a friendly and helpful manner.

Our heat went out. They came out before the time they said, which was great. The guy, John, that did the work was very knowledgeable and fast. He had it fixed in about an hour. We had a broken gas valve and safety shut down. He fixed both. Would definitely do business with him again.

The following day an installer came out and did an excellent job of installing a high efficiency Bryant furnace and replaced a lot of the old ductwork that was a mess. It was very neatly done. He left the work area very clean the new furnace works beautifully.

When I called they talked me into taking a contract which would entail services emergency first preference and they would come out and check my condensers when it got warm without me having to call them. I'll hold out final judgment for when they handle the condensers.

Awoke to the sound of running water in my mechanical room. The 30 gallon water heater for my 2nd floor rental unit was spouting water. It needed to be replaced ASAP as my renters could not go without hot water for any significant amount of time. Called my usual plumber and waited 2 hours without receiving a return call. Consulted Angie's List and picked All Temp and called them. They arranged to come out same day and gave a discount for finding them on Angie's List. They did not have a 30 gallon unit in stock; however, they upgraded me to a 40 gallon unit free of charge. The technicians showed up on time and finished the job within a few hours time. They were extremely polite and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly (This is one of my biggest beefs with contractors). The price paid was as quoted. I was completely satisfied and would use them again without hesitation - I will certainly use them in lieu of my now former plumber.

These guys were great. We used a city grant program and had to meet specific energy efficiency factors and submit some pretty specific paperwork. They helped us choose the right appliances and documented everything so that our grant would be approved. We purchased the hot water heater on our own to meet the city's EF standards and they offered to pick it up for us. Unfortunately, the store we bought it from sold ours out from under us but All Temp's guy waited at the store while we chose another one and then brought it home. They were so accommodating and did a beautiful job, including running new pipes, vents, etc. Plus, they came out two days after we called them (during the coldest cold snap of the winter)!

The men made accurate estimates on the several hours it took for both of these jobs. There were no added charges, they were respectful that my husband and I work from home, and explained to us how to use the new appliances once they were installed. AFTER they left, we discovered some new stains on our carpeting, possibly from some of the glue work they did or lime-stained water drained from our humidifier. They came out immediately, inspected the damage, and one of the owners committed to paying for cleaning our carpeting. We have yet to do that step. We were happy with the work performed, appreciate having the right sized unit for our home and are already saving on electricity by not overrunning the unit to warm our upper and lower floors.

Price was good. They called to confirm appointment, then called to announce their arrival, which I appreciate.

I called All Temp because my furnace had one episode of not turning on when the temperature dropped below thermostat setting. All Temp technician told me I needed a new control module, the part cost without Angie's discount $493, service $95, with discount total price $500. The work was done well. I later priced the part, it costs between $90-$120 retail, I would expect a contractors mark up, but not 500%!

Matt and Paul showed up exactly when promised. They redid any necessary duct/plenum work and installed the furnace which took the better part of a day. They made sure everything was working and explained the operation of the very advanced Evolution Control so that I could control the heat. They said they would return early in the morning. The following day they completed the installation of the A/C although due to the weather they could not test it and we will have to get the unit started in the spring when the weather gets warmer. These installers were the best I have ever dealt with. Immaculately clean, friendly, and answered any and all questions I had. They worked hard and I am very glad I hired All-TEMP.

Excellent response time and fair and reasonable price. Finally, a tradesman who was not trying to upsell me into buying a brand new everything given my home is only three years old!

I was thrilled with All Temp. I dealt with many of their employees over the course of the coldest week of the winter. When I first called them, they were in high demand; the temperatures had just started to drop dramatically in Chicago. They were so busy that entire week, but were very accommodating and professional (with the exception of one very rude receptionist) every time I spoke with them. Three employees visited my house, and they were all extremely helpful, patient, and kind. I really appreciated that they explained everything to me - the problems, the possible solutions, and the repairs that they were making. They were also responsive and punctual. They charged a very reasonable amount for the repairs. They cleaned up after themselves and answered all my questions. All in all, it was a great experience. They solved many problems that I had been having with the furnace system and unit, and I am so appreciative.

When I called All-Temp, I was expecting them to be completely backlogged with other work but they told me that had someone nearby that could stop by around 7pm. The initial visit would be $150. Despite the bitter cold, they had a technician at my house in less than 2 hours from my call. He opened up my furnace and discovered that there was a short in the circuit board. He was able to get my heat going and recommended that I get a new board that would cost $400. The unit was pretty old and I thought he'd have trouble finding the board. He was back at 9am the next morning and had the new board installed in about 20 minutes. He also repaired the built in humidifier that hadn't worked in the 7 years that I lived at this house. I am very impressed and will definitely call All-Temp from now on!

After the heat registers were added to our family room, we discovered that the workers badly scratched our hardwood floors. We asked All Temp to fix our floors and "make the situation right." After six weeks of trying to schedule the time for them to fix the floors, they were finally fixed. Rick at All Temp explained that he was sick and one of his guys was out with a bad back. That doesn't excuse the lack of communication. The good: their workers are super nice (Tom especially). The bad: they seemed to care much more about making us happy before they received our check. After the check, they didn't seem to care too much. Bottom line: They took too long to fix our floors, and I'm annoyed that more care was not taken so that they weren't scratched in the first place. I expected more from a highly rated company like All Temp. I'm not sure I would use them again.

Our furnace stopped working on Sunday afternoon. We found ALL Temp on Angie's List and called them right away. They came fairly quickly (in about 2 hours). We were told all their guys were out on jobs when we called. The service staff came and fixed the problem in 40 minutes. He had the part in the truck with him, so it worked out good. And he was professional and polite.

Unit was working sporadically during -5 to 10 degree weather. Called All Temp who had a tech out in about 3 1/2 hours. After less than five minutes he had the unit running. We use those really expensive filters and since they are so thick and the unit was running for longer period of times because of the weather it became overheated and shut off. Tech told me to buy the less restrictive filters (in my terms "cheap") and just make sure to change them no less than once a month. He did the extra work for no extra charge.

I called All Temp because my humidifier was leaking water behind the furnace. The person on the phone told me to shut off a valve and it broke off in my hand. The service tech. found that a hose had become loose and moved it to the drain. He could not repair the valve. Because water was dripping from the valve he used a wrench to shut off the valve. He did not tell me that shutting off the valve would result in me having no hot water. I had to wait 24 hours for a plumber to arrive to fix the valve. All this for moving a hose to a drain - $95 for a 20 minute call and no hot water.

I provided a report on All Temp's service shortly after the install, giving them pretty good scores. When it came to correcting their mistake, however, they were not so good. Rather than fit us in immediately to repair their own work, we had to wait 4 days, over a weekend. When they showed up, they were an hour late. They cracked drywall around one of the pipes. They double-locked all our doors so that my teenager could not get into the house and was left outside in below-zero weather. They went into our cupboards and took one of our water bottles to use on the job to empty dirty radiator water into. Instead of emptying the dirty radiator water into the utility tub in the basement, they emptied it into other places, leaving a filthy mess. When we first called to complain about the locks, they chose to blame us rather than take any responsibility at all.

Excellent! On a Sunday morning, with subzero temps outside one of our furnaces was not working. We called All Temp and they promptly came out to service it. The serviceman arranged to get a vendor to open his store so he could get the right part to fix the furnace. He came back and promptly fixed the unit. He was friendly, professional, and obviously very competent. I had not even expected a serviceman to come out on a Sunday, especially a very cold, Super Bowl Sunday in Chicago, so I very surprised at the speed in which he came out and how efficient he was in repairing the problem. They are the best heating and air conditioning company we have ever used.

Roughly a week after installation the expansion tank tilted due to improper support. In December a pump failed. The repair tech reset it. Yesterday, February 2, the other pump failed. The repair tech said he could find nothing wrong and reset it. This morning at 5 AM the pump failed again. The repair tech said the pump needed replacement. However, he did not have a new pump so he left. After an angry phone call to the company, All Temp is sending another repair tech. It is 0 degrees. My elderly parents are running water so that the water pipes don't freeze. I'm bringing portable heaters. I feel this company is unwilling to find the source of the failures and resolve the source of the failures until it is too late.
