All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning

The day after I submitted my previous report, I received a phone call from the owner, Richard Jacobs. Not only did Mr. Jacobs apologize for the way I was treated, he more than made up for the inconvenience caused to me. I will continue to use this company for my heating and cooling issues, and would recommend them to others.

The experience was great. John Lillis came over to review our needs. He suggested a system but didn't try to push anything. He knew exactly where venting needed to go, which was not our experience with other companies. The job was completed in 2 days and all old equipment was hauled away. They were careful to make sure we had heat and hot water throughout the whole process. They were pretty neat, too--didn't leave us much to clean up. There was one problem involving the electrical connection for the hot water heater; they were quick to remedy that. John even called to make sure we were doing well with the system several weeks after it was installed! It was a lot of money to spend, but the quote was quite competitive with the 3 others we had gotten and we feel that we got a great new system for the money. Some components of the system are backed up with a 10 year parts and labor guarantee! We would highly recommend AllTemp for anybody looking to do a major overhaul of their heating and air conditioning. The service was great, the price was fair and they worked with us to come up with the best solution for our heating and air conditioning needs. Thank you AllTemp and thank you John Lillis!

I called them on a Tuesday morning after my furnace quit around 5 am. The service tech Tom York was there within 1 hour. He had to leave to get the parts but was back shortly and had the furnace running perfectly within 3 hours of my initial call. Overall an excellent experience!

They did a good job and gave a good price. The man came out initially, made a repair and cleaned up well. He said he was unable to make a guarantee of the repair as it sounded as though the water heater was on its way out. Then I had them back out to replace it completely. Everyone was out on time and did a good job. I would use them again.

It was a positive experience. They were on time and completed the inspection in about 20 minutes.

The service call was $90 and then I knew there would be an additional charge to fix whatever else they had to do to fix the problem. He diagnosed the problem and indicated I needed a new flame sensor. They replaced the sensor and also noticed the humidifier pad filter need to be replaced and so he replaced that as well. He cleaned everything and I though the price was reasonable. He did let me know I could get the filter myself at Home Depot, which I thought was nice.

They were on time, even a little bit early, for my estimate. Their price was very reasonable. The people we were in contact with were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a lot of work and did a really nice job. There was one mistake but they came out and fixed it immediately. On the last day they didn't put the small fence back up and didn't clean up a small area they were working in.

Gina answered the phone & was very nice. Said they would be out before 5 (same day). The repairman met our tenant at the property. He said the guy was really friendly, showed him all about the furnace, and had it fixed in no time.

They never sent us an estimate. Even after they mailed us a letter and emailed us saying we should get one soon.

This was an excellent experience. All Temp did a great job. I called on Wednesday afternoon to get a humidifier/humidistat installed on my furnace and to get the furnace cleaned/inspected, was quoted a price on the phone call, scheduled an appointment for install the next morning. Next morning Julio (not sure of spelling) showed up at the appointed time, was very professional, completed all work at the price quoted, and was helpful in suggesting the right next steps for the furnace. We ended up needing a pump that added $100 to the price, that is why the rate was higher than expected below, otherwise the work was done at the price quoted and this wasn't an issue. Got a follow up call from All Temp that same day about looking at the furnace further and getting a quote for that. Great experience.

This time it went very well, overall. Robert was pleasant, explained what was happening and did what seemed to be a very thorough diagnostic. He was @ my home for approximately 1.5 hours and was able to restore our heat. The price is very low because we had the circuit board replaced in November of 2007 and it was still under warranty. Robert seemed very concerned about finding the underlying problem to the very early replacement of the circuit board. Robert did arrive 25 minutes after the quoted time frame. I did appreciate that this company could respond on the same day.

I paid $200 for them to inspect the furnace. They said everything was fine, but a month and a half later it didn't work. They wouldn't admit that they didn't do a good inspection. I ended up spending $500 to replace a part so that my heat would work.

The heat went out late Saturday night. We had to call for emergency service. We were told JT would be there in an hour & a 1/2. Not there within 2 & 1/2 hours, so we called. Said he could be there by 3:00 am. We told him to come around 8:00 am. He showed up but did not have the parts we needed and said they had to be ordered. He showed us how to keep the heat running and left, cost $220 for inspection and OT labor. We hadn't heard anything through Tuesday about the part, so I called and was told by dispatch that he would get back to me on when the part was arriving. Didn't hear anything by Thursday so I called again, didn't hear anything again and then the heat went out & we couldn't get it back. Finally called to speak to a manager, Bernie, & he said JT would call - didn't hear anything & had to call back. They finally sent someone else who was able to get us the parts that day & get the furnace running for $170 in labor. Parts were under warranty - something JT never mentioned.

We noticed that the furnace was not working consistently on a Friday night. We called Saturday morning and they came out later that day. He was very quick and only charged us the service fee. He even took a look at our 2nd furnace just as a precaution. Will definitely use them again.

Best experience with a company that quotes a price, shows up on said date, on time and performs the service above & beyond our expectations.

It went OK, but there were a few problems. Anyway from time to time I would have to replace limit switches, so I had two new ones stored away. I called this company to install one. The guy came in and quickly cut parts off of my new limit switch and tried to connect it, but it didn't work. Turns out that the part should have been left on. Anyway we used the second one that I had and that seemed to work fine although he seemed to be unsure sometimes about the connections(that is understandable). However I did ask about the replacement of another part of my furnace, and he indicated that he didn't think that I could buy this part any longer. I later found the replacement unit.

I made an appointment for a particular date, ten took the day off work. They did not show at the appointed time, so I called, and they misplaced my appointment. They did get someone out there later in the evening to ultimately perform the work. But it was 6pm in the evening instead of 8am.

No hot water. Called them on a Sunday, they came right out and diagnosed bad thermocouple - water heater wouldn't accept universal replacement, said they had one at warehouse would come by next day. Called and said they spoke to manufacturer and would instead order a replacement assembly that a universal thermocouple would accept. Said they would have part overnighted. Next day, part didn't arrive. same thing day after. same thing day after. Part finally got there but too late to install - would come out next day. Came out, installed, seemed to work. Funny smell near water heater - suspected gas - called them, guy came out, said he found a small gas leak and that now the water heater was also leaking and would need to be replaced. I was upset - he called into office and changed his diagnosis - just condensation. He leaves - funny smell still there. Different guy comes out - he says no gas leak - just smell of new parts being used for first time. Didn't charge me for multiple visits.

Great! Mike Clark came to give a competitive estimate for a new Bryant furnace. Once I told him I was ready to pull the trigger the workmen were here the next day. It took 3 hours to install from start to finish and the only thing the left behind was a perfectly installed furnace. I would not hesitate to use them again.

There was a small leak after the job, but they came back immediately and fixed it. They were good about returning calls as well.

Tom, the service guy, came out promptly, immediately diagnosed the issue and remedied it all in a matter of 15 minutes. He did not try to sell me a part I didn't need even when I suggested he replace it if it wasn't too expensive.

It was late at night and they responded quickly and replaced the part quickly. Both phone and in-person tech were very polite and professional.

They did a nice job. The sale guy did a nice job as well as the installer. It took a half day longer than expected, but other than that it's been working wonderful.

Work was done well. The company said they would bill. One week later the company rudely phoned and demanded immediate payment (i.e., they would drive over and pick up a check). The company denied that they ever billed, but we have a whole series of bills from them over several years, which we have always paid immediately on presentation without any dispute of any kind.

There was not charge for this job because I joined their club in March 2007 and this entitled me to free service as a club member. I am very satisfied with the club member perks, and I would not hesitate to renew my membership with them.
