The whole experience was much better than I expected. It took about two days. I would recommend this company to others.

They got the job done right away. They are very polite when they are working. They always show up on time to do the work for me. They always pick up everything before they leave.

When talking to their scheduling rep for just a/c servicing, learned that Angie's List customers also received a discount on All Temp's Discount Club which covers the furnace in the fall as well. The scheduler was very helpful in helping me schedule a block of time that would best fit my schedule. On the day of the maintenance, the service rep called to see if he could possibly come over earlier - which was a big plus. He was very polite and professional, and cleaned up everything before finishing. We would highly recommend All Temp.

All temp basically did the exact same thing I did initially, which made me feel good since I was on the right track. Then it still didn't stay lit, so they replaced the Pilot Assembly and valve and all was well. The Angie's List discount came in handy here.

Overall, I would highly recommend All Temps. On the first visit, their guy came a little later than I expected (closer to five p.m. when they said they would come some time after 1:30 p.m.; I had just expected them to be a little bit earlier). It was not a big deal to me but if you are on a tight schedule, I would try to nail down an exact time for an appointment. The first repairman was a young guy, kind of a quirky personality but knew what he was doing. He found that my furnace/A/C filter was very dirty and needed to be replaced; at his suggestion I went and bought a filter for a few bucks at the nearby Walgreen's and he installed it for me. (My ladder isn't tall enough to reach the vent, so that was very helpful). He then headed to the roof to inspect and clean the A/C unit. I watched him for a few minutes and then left him to his own devices for awhile. After about a half hour, I came back to ask him what he had learned. He explained that there was a leaky valve, and that he did not have a part on hand to replace it, and that another piece of the unit (some sort of intake filter) was broken. I thought he did a good job of explaining the problem in layman's terms, showing me using his voltmeter and other tools how he had diagnosed the issue. He suggested that I schedule another visit and gave a rough quote for how much it would cost to replace the broken part. He also generally advised me that my unit was probably toward the end of its life cycle, but said that it might still have a couple years left in it and that I should feel comfortable running it until if/when it dies. On my request, he gave me some general advice on the pricing of comparable units, and explained some of the ins and outs of the new units that some of my neighbors had purchased. (Because my building was converted a little more than a decade ago, all of the A/C units are approximately the same age and beginning to show some wear.) Even though the A/C unit could not be fixed at that time, the cleaning combined with the other limited work done by this person enabled it to function far more effectively than it had before their visit. He also gave me a quick tutorial on how to properly program my thermostat, which was helpful. He reminded me of the Angie's discount I was entitled to at the time of payment. I scheduled a return visit to fix the problems identified first time around. The second time, the repairman (a different person) was on time. I showed him up to the roof and he went right to work. He replaced the valve, but unfortunately found after doing so that there was another leak somewhere in the system -- something that no one could likely fix. He wrapped the hoses in new insulation, added new Freon, and said that he couldn't say how much more life the thing had in it but that there wasn't much else that could be done from a repair point of view. If I need to get the system replaced, I will get a quote from All Temps.

Worker was professional performed complete evaluation. Fully explained to us what the problem was. Unable to fix air conditioner - needed to be replaced.

Mike Clark answered our call and set up an appointment immediately. He was prompt and courteous. He answered all our questions and seemed eager to please. Their estimate seemed fair. If we had been interested in going with Bryant, we might have given them a try.

Tom gave me some good tips on keeping my unit up to par throughout the year, and seemed very thorough. I was initially quoted $135, for my a/c maintenance + pre-paying for furnace maintenance in the winter. I didn't realize freon would be an additional charge, but maybe that's assumed.

We have a maintenance contract with them. They are reliable and their price is reasonable. They are knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. They are tidy and clean up after themselves. I schedule appointments in advance and they always call before they come. I would recommend this company.

He was very friendly when he was there working for me. They had showed up on time. They had called before they had showed up to do the work. They had done a good job at cleaning up when they were done.

They come twice a year. They clean and replace filters.

We have had All Temp out of issues with our furnace and air conditioning and both times have been very happy with their service. The servicemen that came out were very informative and explained what they were doing throughout the process. They came on their scheduled time and worked quickly to solve the problem. I will definitely call them in the future.

We are in the midst of trying to resolve some issues with them. I wasn't real happy with the services the did. They left wires hanging, one of the guy's pee'd in my backyard and we have a problem with the electrical. The owner of the company is trying to resolve this and an electrician is going to come out at the same time as this company. It's take like three times to resolve this because it still seams like there is a problem with other electrical in my house at the same time when the air conditioning is running. The only reason I took the company is because it had a high standing on Angie's List but I would have to say that I don't think they deserve the good reports that they have had. It might be because I'm a female, I don't know, but I'm pretty unhappy with their services. They are trying to resolve this issue, but it has been very unprofessional. They left a lot of debris and didn't bother to clean up. I hate to say such bad things about a company especially when they had such good reports but I'm very dissapointed. I've spend two days of vacation trying to resolve this with them and now I have to spend another day with the electrician coming out to fix this for me. It took way to much time.

One of the hottest weekends of the year and our air conditioning wouldn't cool. As it turns out we were low on Freon. I had called several companies. All Temp was very responsive. They provided service, explained the fees before they came and provided status calls while we were waiting. My husband paid the bill and I was pleasantly surprised to see they gave us their coupon without him asking for it.

The technician came within the time frame assigned. The technician called from his previous job so as to give me the heads up that he was on the way which I appreciated. Once arriving the technician took the job description and went to work right away. He looked at the condenser from the outside and then came inside to look at the blower which was located in my attic crawl space which reached over 90 degrees from the heat that day. The technician checked the blower from the inside and diagnosed the cause of the problem. Because it was something so minor some might have taken advantage of the problem and charged me up the wazoo such as a bad experience with Four Seasons. The technician from All Temp told me that the problem was so minor that it was something I could fix by just using a vacuum (pet hair around the cooling coils). He packed up and started to head out. When I asked how much, he said "Don't worry about it." I know that's not the common practice for large companies like All Temp, but I was just thrilled that the guy was just honest. I would without a doubt recommend All Temp to anyone, and I found them on Angie's List. Most importantly my air conditioner works now.

I have called All Temp three times over the past 9 months- each time because they were rated so highly on Angie's List. However, each time I called, the receptionist was very hurried, not pleasant when she perceived questions were taking too much time, and the company was unable to come for at least one week. I didn't use them because I needed the issue addressed sooner than one week out.

They are great. They show up when they say they are going to show up and they are always thorough.

Initially I was very pleased, but I am now furious. Order of events: (1) Service call for a/c not blowing cold air, service guy told me I needed new compressor. (2) Service guy calls office on the spot to get estimate on replacement which was around $3000, and more if I wanted to match my evaporator coil to my a/c unit. (3) Sales guy contacts me to come out and see what I need, telling me the evaporator coil must match the unit. (4) Sales guy was very courteous and answered all of my questions, prices new compressor and evaporator coil at $5000, telling me the service guy must have quoted me the price for the lowest grade a/c unit. (5) Sales guy tells me about furnace pricing options and offers a top of the line model for an additional $2000, given my concerns that we discussed at length regarding noise and cycling issues with my 9 year old crummy builder-grade furnace. He explained how the new one would be installed and that it would be installed on a box in order to minimize any noise (even though this was their "quietest" furnace. (6) Proposal is sent with model numbers. (7) A/c and furnace installed a week later, installers told me they couldn't fit the box so they just went ahead and installed without it and told the sales guy and "he said it was OK". (8) My new furnace is so loud and makes a buzzing noise so irritating I can't even be on the same floor as it, I called for a service call. (9) Service guy comes out and we realize the wrong model was installed and he stated that it should never have been installed without a box and someone would call me regarding re-installation first thing Monday. (10) No one called on Monday, I called them at the end of the day. (11) Sales guy calls me back and says he made a "typo" on the proposal (not possible as the model number of the installed furnace is not even close) and I have the right furnace but they will order a new motor. (11) Company calls next day to schedule installation of new motor and transformer (on a brand new furnace? why would anything need to be replaced?) and states their schedule is full for the whole month, I have to call to talk to someone to get them to come earlier.(12) I ask to talk to sales guy stating my concerns about the furnace not being on a box and he is unresponsive, calling me back to talk to me about the motor and why this model is OK, he says he will call me back later regarding the box issue and he does not. (13) I called back Wednesday asking for someone to call me about the re-installation. (14) No one calls me back. I email the sales guy Thursday. (16) Nothing. As I type this I am listening to the loud humming of my new $7000 a/c system and am furious at their lack of willingness to admit they screwed up and to fix it ASAP. Sales guy called and emailed at least 6 times in 2 days in order to make the sale but now that I have paid, I can't get him to call me.

On 3/4 I awoke to discover that my house had no heat. I called All Temp. The field mgr was on site within two hours. He told me that my vintage furnace was no longer made and the part that was needed would cost about $500. He said that he could have a new furnace in the next day. The installer arrived on time and went to work removing the old furnace and installing the new one. He finished the work in 5 hours. Both men explained the benefits of the new unit and their company's reputation and their support policy. So far, everything was fine. My initial response was satisfaction (except that I felt they sent one man for a two man job). The problem arose after the technician left. The tech had said that he would leave the users manual. After he left I couldn't find it and called the office. I was told that it would be mailed along with the manufacturers warranty. On 3/19 I called again and was told that the manual is usually under the blower housing. As I started to explain that I didn't know how to look under the blower, the woman on the phone said that she'd call the manufacturer and have one sent. Nothing ever arrived. I subsequently noticed that I couldn't locate one of my tools. I called on 4/1 and asked to speak to a manager. I was put on the phone with a man, who said that he was a manager. I asked him if the installer might have inadvertently picked up one of my tools. He said that the installer's supervisor was on the phone. He transferred me to the supervisors voice mail, where I left my name, phone number and query. I never received a return phone call.

They took one day to remove old and one day to put in the new one. They were very professional, efficient and did not waste any time. They were very knowledgeable at their job.

I would definitely use them again. They were very professional. The installers went above and beyond to check all my vents to ensure good air circulation. They cleaned up very well afterwords.

I was so worried about getting someone in to complete work for us, as we are not from the US and have had previous bad service in England. I need not have worried. I called All Temp and spoke to Gina who was SO lovely on the phone, I went through our home inspection report with her and she explained that I needed a service on both the furnace and A/C. She quoted a price of $89 for each which sounded good for me. I expected there to be more work to be done as the home inspector had highlighted some issues, so I was prepared! We arranged an appointment and Eddie arrived. He was so thorough with the checking, he spent about 2.5 hours at our house. He also showed me how to work the control panel and he gave me excellent maintenance advice, he explained about using replacement filters on our unit (we don't have this type of heating system in England so it was all new to me). He showed me how to install new filters. I am really happy with the service I received from All Temp. I would most definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone. They are efficient, timely, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

The first person came out and said without question we needed a new a/c unit that cost us $3500, but he was a rep of a brand. We told him no right now. A different person came out to fix a/c and said it was fine, we just needed to clean out some filters and maybe in a few years, replace the unit.

They were great! Their prices were great, their service was great. I had a little issue after the fact when they were done. They came right back out and didn't charge me for it. They were good. I would recommend them. I plan on using them for the up keep of my new units.
