I liked them and they were very courteous. They got right to the point and they were professional. They were on time and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them.

After speaking with a gentlemen at All Temp, who was very helpful, Mike Clark came out to look at a humidity problem within our condo unit. After a thorough inspection and extensive conversation, it was determined that it was extremely doubtful there were any issues related to the furnace. He suggested a few things that we could do to cut down the humidity and also a couple of options that could be handled by All Temp if the problems persisted. There was no charge for the appointment. I am extremely satisfied with All Temp.

Great actually. We first called the company we've used in the past for maintaining our heating & cooling systems. After waiting for 6 hours for someone to call us back we called All Temp. We spoke with their call center & within 10 minutes the gentleman on-call called us to get a better understanding of the problem & provide an estimate for when he could be at our house. He arrived two hours later, which we thought was great. He assessed the problem & had it fixed (granted it was a small issue) within 20 minutes!

The workers really knew what they were doing. They did a nice job. They cleaned up after themselves. My only problem is the carrier is pretty noisy for being new.

I had to wait almost three weeks for a service call and suffer through some very cold nights, but my wait was well worth it. All Temp was fantastic. When I scheduled the call, they said a service person would be here in between 8 AM and 10 AM - and they were right. He arrived at 9:00 AM. Right away - within 5 minutes - he confirmed that the circuit board had been blown out, probably by the electric spike due to the transformer explosion. Given that ours is the top floor unit, and other units did not suffer problems, it makes sense that the spike hit our furnace/AC first. Besides cleaning the unit, replacing a blown fuse and then stepping out to get a new circuit board, All Temp also determined that the board was still under warranty thus saving us close to $400. Sweet. We used the Angie's List 15% coupon and now I am happy to say we have chosen our vendor for cleaning and servicing our AC/furnace unit.

They did a good job. They were on time. They were very responsive and did a good job at telling me what was wrong, and the price was reasonable. And I have recommended them.

Peter, the repairman explained every step in detail on how the humidifier should have been working. He made sure I fully understood how it all was working and should work. He was very detailed in all his explanations.

He explained everything very well and was very nice. He came out on a Sat. I was very pleased with the service. He was very courteous and informative.

Service call person was right on time (in fact, he was early, which wasn't actually helpful since I got home from work right at the scheduled time). He was very professional and knowledgeable. Showed me everything he was doing and explained in easy to understand terms. When he realized the furnace needed replacing, he carefully explained why, and was able to arrange for the field manager to come out the same afternoon. This was very helpful since I had to come home from work early for the service appointment. Field manager arrived and explained the different options, and seemed very honest. He didn't try to upsell, which was appreciated. They were also able to install the new furnace in just a couple of days, which was great. The only issue in the whole experience was the arrival of the installation person. The field manager said someone would arrive at 7am, and he and I discussed that this was very important to me since I normally leave for work at 6:30am so I would already be leaving 30 minutes late. When no one had arrived by 7:10am, I called and got the service. They said they'd try to track someone down. I hadn't heard anything by 7:40, so I called again and said if someone didn't arrive by 7:45am I had to leave and we'd have to reschedule. They called at 7:45 and said someone would be there momentarily, so I agreed to wait. Unfortunately, "momentarily" meant 15 minutes, they finally showed up at 8am. This was a terrible inconvenience for me. However, when I got home from work, the furnace was installed, and it has been working great. They cleaned up very nicely (although they did leave my bathroom window open, so it was quite cold in there when I got home).

They always call me when it's time to schedule a servicing(spring and fall). The tech arrives on time, works efficiently, answers all my questions, and makes sure I have filters. This company really cares about its customers and repeat business. I think their service plan is a great value.

The furnace filter changing and cleaning went about as expected. I've used All Temp now for a few seasons and they checked my air conditioner on the building roof in spring as well. My furnace is rather strangely positioned, and it takes some work to get the furnace door off in order to change the filter. Even though I hear them grunting when they are trying to get the door off, none of the All Temp people who've come out have ever complained to me about how difficult it is to get it off. The "B" I gave this company for professionalism is due to the fact that once I called All Temp because I couldn't get my air conditioner to turn on. When the All Temp person came out to my condo, the first thing he did was check the season switch on my furnace and then he checked my fuse box to see if the air conditioner switch was off. It was. I felt stupid for calling, and he assured me that it happens "all the time." When I asked why the All Temp representative who recorded my appointment on the phone didn't tell me to check the fuse switch, he said, "Hey, we're in business." That just didn't seem right to me.

They arrived during the five hour window they gave us. They were conscientious and carefully explained the situation to us, waiting to talk to the other company to explain the problem. They came back without hesitation and didn't charge us. They were very helpful.

I called early in the morning to see if I could get a service call today. The receptionist was polite and said the technician would be here between 10:00-2:00. Greg arrived on time, explained what was wrong, corrected the problem, cleaned up the work area when finished. He was very professional and polite. I signed up for the maintenance agreement to include the spring A/C clean and check.

I scheduled the work to begin 3 weeks after the estimate. I did not want the central air installed until the Springtime. We agreed that I would pay $1000 for the air right now and the remainder in the Spring when the unit would be installed. Total new furnace, duct work and down payment for central air-$7000(I have since determined that this is pretty steep). On the day work was supposed to begin, I took a day off from work. The installers and the salesperson came in. The installers walked through the basement and first floor appt. They advised me that there was some demolition work required and they do not do demolition. The false ceiling and ceiling need to come down. Also there were a few unused pipes from the old boiler which should be removed. I do not mind doing this work, but here are my concerns/comments: First, salesperson did not mention ANYTHING about my having to do these things. If he had, I would have had them done ahead of time. Second, I now have to pay my contractor $1500 to demolish ceilings. I had not budgeted for this. Third, My time line for having the new furnace installed is now way off. They are very nice people, I just wish that I had the big picture prior to the day we were supposed to start the work. Oh well, now I have time to get additional estimates.

To be objective, the first encounter with sales and service were really no different than with another company that I have done business with over the years. Believed that this company's high rating would be a step up from the company I was used to dealing with but it really was not, at least, at this initial encounter. The technician was on time, personable, performed the cleanings and it appears that all is functioning well. Thought that since I was a new customer that there would be a follow-up call or an interest in securing a service contract but there was no follow-up. The actual reason for changing companys to begin with is that I will be looking to replace some equipment in the not so distant future and wanted to find a top notch provider.

The service man was prompt, did the work efficiently, explained my options thoroughly.

It was a simple job probably, but done well and on time. The guy was courteous and $95 for the service call seemed reasonable.

My experience with them was good overall because the job was done quickly and the price was good. The company was responsive. I would use this company again in the future.

My appointment was slated for from noon to 5 PM and the repairman was here before 3PM. The problem with the furnace was that the blower would only come on occasionally-thus, no heat. The repairman got it to work right away just by taking out the connector and reapplying it. The bill was just for the office call less 15% because I mentioned Angie s List. He also told me that I will have a 30 day grace period if that really doesn t solve the problem and the call price will be waived if he has to come back out. I asked him what it would cost if the blower had to be taken out and replaced or how much a new furnace would cost. He explained it all in full detail. The repairman was very fast, efficient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend All Temp-Montrose. Thank you for such good service.

They were able to give me an appointment on the day I wanted, with a 5 hour window (12:00 pm-5:00 pm). I received a call about 1:00 pm saying they were on their way. After a quick check of the system, the technician (Arnando) went to get supplies, and went to work. The vent pipe was behind most of my furnace in a closet, so it was not easy to get to. He was very good at what he did, and removed some other duct work to get to the broken vent pipe. He worked for about 2.5 hours, and got it done nicely. He even sealed the joints with aluminum tape, as they should have been before. He even gave some advice about my heating system (useless humidifier). The total work came to $310 (Service call-$95, work at $84/hour, plus supplies), but as I was paying I mentioned Angie's List, and he gave me the 15% off discount, coming to $264. Very professional, got right to work, would recommend highly!

All-Temp is very professional and responsive. They did a very good job on both their annual inspection and a minor repair. My only complaint is that they are quite expensive. I was charged $150 for a small heating element part (plus the cost on installation). When I looked up the part on the Internet, I found it for $30. While I am happy to pay fair price for good service, this seemed to be taking advantage of the situation. When your furnace stops working, you do not have a chance to get competing bids (since you need the heat back right away), but I do not want to feel taken advantage of. In a pinch, I would use them again, but I would be wary of the cost.

Perfect results. They were flexible with weekend scheduling, they were sensitive to our time constraints and so scheduled two separate crews to perform the removal/installations. They estimated their time very well and even beat their own estimates of total time on site. The systems are Bryant and they are working perfectly, no call backs for anything required. While we had modern thermostats installed in both apartments and the All-Temp quote did not include their replacement, the installation crew decided to replace them both with Honeywell set-back thermostats in order to ensure perfect compatibility with the two-stage systems at no additional charge. They cleaned all work areas when finished and did no damage to anything while on-site (no dented walls or scratches for example).

Dave, the sales guy was great. On time, very open, not pushy. The price was good and we were able to schedule the installation pretty quickly. The installation was scheduled for two days. They did it in one. Great, right? In their haste to go home they failed to fill the Puron, so after less than a week, we couldn't get the place cooled below 75 at night. I also noticed that the seam on one of the ducts was wide open & there was a bad connection at a split. I called & scheduled a repair. They didn't show because of a clerical error. Then they came & completely ignored the diagram I drew showing where the air leaks were. All they did was boost the Puron & leave. I fixed the leaks myself, because by then I was done with them. They also left half of my kitchen without power, which I fixed. "How does the value of the work compare to the price?" It's not about the money. It's about the aggravation.
