I called All-Temp for a a/c check, fully thinking the service would cost more than the $55 Angie's Deal. I had neglected servicing my a/c for several years & expected something would be expensively wrong with it.. to punish me for not taking better care of it. I was delighted when I lucked out & the servicing only cost me $55 for the entire deal. Besides the great price, the service was outstanding. Julian was very nice, personable & polite. He arrived on time after calling me 1/2 hr. earlier to tell me he was on his way. Best of all, he gave me some very simple & practical maintenance tips for my a/c unit that I had never heard of before, which I know will be beneficial. He was great! He seemed to enjoy his job, and seemed genuinely pleased that I appreciated his tips. I wish more service people could give such helpful "service"

Very well, all was done quickly.

They were very knowledgeable about the types of systems available and what would best fit our needs and budget. The installers were friendly, neat, and thorough. I felt like they were treating my home as if it was their own. They were able to finish both systems in a day and a half of work. I had used them to service my previous units and will continue to use them to maintain my new ones. When I found a water leak 2 weeks after the units were installed, I called All-Temp and they came out to take care of the problem. It turned out to be a dirty filter in my whole house humidifier, and nothing related to the installation of the new units. The technician cleaned my filter, instructed me on proper care and maintainence in the future and didn't charge me a dime, despite the fact that the problem wasn't even thier fault. Great cusomer service!

They were prompt in coming out. They had the best price. They installed it well. I felt that they were not trying to sell us something. They gave us pretty honest opinions about the new system. They were responsive.

Dan came on time and was professional, courteous, and did exactly what was needed to fix our A/C problem and gave me some good tips. I would not hesitate to call All Temp again for my HVAC needs.

All Temp fixed it at a price we felt was reasonable and since he had warned us of the cost, he managed our expectations well. Job done quickly and efficiently by Zac, a very pleasant and knowledgable gentleman. Just a few days later our second air conditioning unit (this serving the upstairs) failed also, by coincidence, so we called All Temp again, and this time the cost was about half the first time because the repair was different. We would use them again. The second repairman, Greg, pointed out that our neighbor's air conditioner was making a loud racket, which we knew of course. We had been planning to complain to the neighbor about it. Greg said we could just give the unit a little nudge and it would probably quiet it down. We later asked the neighbor's permission to nudge. It worked and we can now have relative peace and quiet on our deck once more. That alone might have been worth the price of the visit.

After having another company come and fix a part in my AC unit, they recommended it be cleaned. Angie's List was offering a discount for this company so I bought it right away. The appointment was set for 2 days later between 8am and 1pm. He came by at 10:30am.... I somehow slept through his phone call and door buzz so he left. When I listened to my voicemails I called the company back apologized and they put me back on his list for the day. He was there within an hour. He checked the vent and then cleaned the unit. Quick and professional.... GREAT PRICE DEAL

I've been using All Temp for 6 years. They come out twice a year to service my A/C in the Spring and furnace in the Fall. They have always been prompt, polite and efficient. They do what they can to accommodate scheduling requests. They send reminders when the service is due. Their prices are fair.

The service rep was on time, courteous and explained what he was doing each step along the way.

We have a 12 year old HVAC unit that is developer quality. It has been on the fritz for a while and the A/C was not working at all at the beginning of the spring/summer. We first went to Four Seasons, whom we have used for maintenance and repair in the past. However, their estimate to repair was about ~$1500 so we thought it worthwhile to get another look. After finding All Temp on Angie's List, we made the call and were very pleased to get a much more reasonable estimate that was about half the price of Four Seasons. All Temp was just as professional and responsive, but much cheaper. Very pleased with the repair and everything is working fine.

The A/C in our condo went out last night and with 90 plus temps and a 2 y/o daughter we needed a rapid response. I phoned the office today and was able to secure an appt within 2 hrs of my call. Overall, pricing was decent as was the quality of work; however the tech wanted to charge us an additional $30 for use of his ladder! My husband had to contact the condo's president to obtain the ladder for our building, my husband also carried it to the side of the building. Upon hearing that, I called the office to lodge a compliant- I'm still awaiting a response from management. I've stated that I would use them again, but there's an asterisk next to my affirmative due to the unresolved issue of the ladder.

the tech arrived on time, he was friendly, knowledgeable and answered my questions without any sense of rushing. will be calling them to service the furnace in the fall.

We were pressured to replace immediately-but called other vendors to get additional quotes. Lo and behold, when Ofenloch came out, they fixed the problem on the spot-for less than $200. They tried to dupe us into replacing a unit that was easily repared-shameful-either that or they cannot diagnose and AC unit-either way-I would steer clear of them in future.

We are experiencing some some pretty hot temperatures here in Chicago this summer. Unfortunately, on Saturday afternoon our A/C went out. We live on the top floor of a 4-story unit, so it heated up quickly. I used Angie's List and went with the recommendations for Alltemp Heating and Air Conditioning. They were gong to send a technician out that evening, but got backed up, so we had them come out the next morning. The service rep called the next morning and said the technician would arrive in 20-30 minutes and he did. He was very polite and professional. He asked me what had happened and listened carefully to my description. He was able to fix the problem within an hour. Overall, it was a great first-time experience with the company. We are signing up for their maintenance agreement for fall and spring servicing. I have dealt with a lot of heating and A/C companies over the years and Alltemp is quite outstanding.

Tech was terrific. I had an earlier problem when the guy was supposed to show by 9:00 am at the latest and called at 9:00 to say he was an hour away. This one was prompt, very knowledgeable, very helpful.

Went well from beginning to end. Kevin did a great deal of personal talking, however, he was polite and highly qualified for the job inspection at hand. . Would use the company again.

Dave Clark, the person who came out, was trustworthy and told me there was a 10 year warranty for parts and labor. The installation crew, Brian and Jamie, were very professional and creative regarding how to get the unit inside without damaging the building or the unit. They were here all day and made sure the unit was running properly before they leftand they answered all of my questions. They also gave me a competitive price on the installation of the furnace/AC unit. I also called them back because there was a knocking noise. Miguel came out and fixed the issue, and the unit is working perfectly now. He was also very professional.

The technician arrived on time and was respectful of my property. He verified that both units were functioning inside my home. He was not phased by having to enter a dirty crawl space. He noticed that one unit was short on freon. He provided advice regarding why the unit might be short and added additional freon to the machine. As a bonus, he gave me a discount on the freon.

Our central air tripped the breaker... of course it was in the 90s! I called Alltemp before office hours, and they returned my call shortly after they opened. They scheduled a Clean and Check appointment within the hour - super service! Robert listened to the problem and after checking the air conditioner outside he determined it needed cleaning to remove all the leaves and debris. He hosed down and cleaned the air conditioner... then found that the freon was over full so he made necessary adjustments. Then he was quite the trooper having to go into our attic to change our really dirty filter and on a 90+ degree day! It was a really great experience and I'd definitely contact them for ongoing maintenance and service as needed. Thank you Alltemp!

Went great. The tech, Robert, was very knowledgeable and showed up on time. He checked everything and found that I had a coolant leak and was short some coolant. He took care of everything and told me my unit needed more extensive repairs and said he could fix it but I really needed a full repair. I decided to just fix it for now and appreciated that he reminded me about the warranty possibilities at the same time as he said he would be happy to give me a quote anytime if I decided to go forward with his recommendations. Great service.

I have a old A/C. It need the tuning as making noise and stop sometimes. The service provider from Alltemp explained clearly the problem and filled the gas. After three days, the old A/C stopped totally, the other technician came again and started the A/C and told us to replace with new efficient A/C. I will replace the old A/C in near future. I appreciate there professional approach and calling earlier for being late for inspection.

I called the company's main line a little after 6am. I got a call back from the technician to schedule service within 15 minutes. The company called me an hour before he arrived to confirm. He arrived well inside of the service window originally provided.

I could not have been more pleased with the service. I couldn't believe that they kept this appointment. We've had multiple 100 degree days in a row, so I know they have a ton of work. They managed to fit me in despite it all. The technician, Kevin, called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. He was very friendly. Inside the house, he checked the filter, the drain, and the temperature in vent. All the while he was giving my advice on how to maintain our A/C system. Outside, he checked the amount of coolant and the electrical, and then he thoroughly cleaned the air conditioner. My air conditioner is probably towards the end of its life, but it's currently working like a champ. I'll be going back to All Temp to replace it hopefully before it dies on a 90+ degree day.
