All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning

We used the special rate provided on Angie's list. The person (a senior technician) that came over called before he came and let us know when to expect him. He listened to all the issues we had and then immediately went on to work. He gave us an explanation for what he was doing and what caused each of our problems. Without trying to sell us anything new, he made a few recommendations to improve the energy efficiency in our house. We were impressed with the work and will recommend them to anyone.

As indicated above it went great.

The check up and cleaning was quick - less than an hour.Tech was efficient and professional and let me buy another coupon on the spot for the second unit through Angieslist.com The problem was the inspection and cleaning was not thorough. Within a couple of weeks one of the units had flames shooting out the back. Something I wouldn't expect after getting an all clear from a professional. I opened the service panel on both units and found some grey waxing material in the one that caught and fire and and a nest in the other one. I might have had a more thorough cleaning and inspection if I paid full price. I'm guessing the discounted price gave me discounted service. Disappointing and I would not use All Temp again.

The estimate process was easy. The sales rep was very helpful. The installation technician was very good. The job was done in 3 days, it could have been less time, but I did not mind too much.The office staff was unresponsive when there was a bank issue. On the whole, a pleasant cooling experience.

The air conditioning stopped working so I called All Temp. The technician came out to the house and told me that he could try to fix the system but it (the unit was old) would cost over $500 and he could not guarantee that the A/C would not break down again soon. He recommended that I purchase a new air conditioning unit. I asked if there was some sort of temporary patch that could get the system running for a few days so I could figure out how I wanted to replace the system. He explained that any kind of patch would still cost $500. I agreed to meet with someone from All Temp that afternoon and get a quote on a new A/C unit. Meanwhile a friend recommended that I call thier air conditioning company (Belle) and get a second opinion. Belle came out that same afternoon and found that the system was working fine. The only malfunction was that the pressure switch on the outside of the unit was tripped. He flipped the switch, changed the filter and the system has been running fine ever since. I called All Temp on August first and said that I had a compliant and wanted to talk with the manager on owner. There was no one to talk to so I left a message with the receptionist. (I wanted to give them a chance to respond before I posted the story on Angies list. I did not tell them that I was an Angies list user). No one called me back. I called again on the 30th and spoke with Bernie who said he was a manager. I explained the issue and asked that the matter be investigated and requested a refund. He indicated that he would need to look into the matter and would call me back. He never did. Bernie did not loose my number as it is on the service invoice.

There initially was a big disconnect between their sales and their installers. I have called them on two additional jobs since the "fix" and have not been disappointed since.

I was given a window of 10-2. Roberto called me shortly before 10 to let me know he was about 20 minutes away. He arrived promptly within 20 minutes. Roberto was very thorough explaining everything he was doing. He explained clearly that I was low on freon, and offered a 15% discount for topping it up due to Angie's list.

I contacted All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning, and they sent a tech out immediately. He spent some time checking out my air conditioning unit, explaining his findings, and prviding a list of options as well as pros and cons of each option. I felt very supported and empowered to make an informed decision. I opted to replace the air conditioning unit, and was offered an excellent deal if I opted to replace the furnace as well. I did not feel pressured in anyway, I felt the technician gave me realistic and unbiased information. I was VERY satisfied with the service I received from All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning, and will definitely work with them for all my heating and air conditioning needs in the future.

The technician was very prompt (actually early). He was able to diagnose the issue with the a/c unit, fixed the problem and gave me suggestions/tips on how to prevent it from happening again. He even went above and beyond by cleaning it for me.

After my neighbors A/C unit went out on him, I decided it would be a good time for me to get maintenance done on mine. I saw that Angie's List was offering a $55 deal for A/C maintenance and tune up. Soon after I purchased the deal, I received an email from All Temp with their contact information and asking me when I wanted to set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the technician Jullian gave me a call to let me know he was on the way. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me good advice on the filters that will end up saving me money. Jullian also took the time to explain what was being done for the A/C maintenance. I would feel confident using this company again for my A/C/Heating needs.

Courteous service on the phone. The technician was prompt at the appointed time. He checked the pressure of the refrigerant and measured the temperature of the cooled air inside before and after filling the unit with refrigerant. Very honest assessment of overall condition of the A/C.

Paul came on time. He is a very nice guy. He serviced my two a/c units. He charged some Freon too. Everything was covered under $55/per unit coupon. I will highly recommend them.

All temp installed a cool air return duct for our basement. Two days from initial call to the completion of the project. Quick. Professional. Informative. Friendly. Appreciated their honesty in how the cool air return would not really help during the summer. Thrilled with the finished product!

I used the Angie's list special deal for All Temp. I have been thinking of using them since my brother and his wife have used them in the past and they were very happy with their services. I was very happy to find their deal here on Angie's list. The technician was great! He explained everything he was doing as he went thru the testing of my A/C unit. He was very honest, and gave me great advice. I certainly will use them in the future. I never felt like he was pressuring me to purchase a new A/C since mine is quite old. He was very up front, told me what to watch for and how to best care for my unit to prevent problems.This was my first Angie's list purchase and I am extremely happy!!!! The service tech was thorough timely and friendly.

AllTemp has serviced an apartment rental unit that I manage twice in the last year. When heat went up, AllTemp came on the weekend with short notice to recharge the AC unit. The tenants were very happy that their young daughter would be comfortable again. Several months later, I contracted them to investigate a pilot light and pressure relief valve on the hot water heater. They were efficient and responsive.

They are always very pleasant and are quick to answer any questions I have. They are always prompt and do a good job.

I contacted the company to share that the air conditioner began to fail following their service and they quickly sent a new serviceman out to review the unit. This time, however, the serviceman indicated that the unit was so old, I should have anticipated that it would have broken down a long time ago. I shared that I had no problem with it prior to the "check-up and cleaning" and that just a few short weeks ago, a serviceman from the same company called it a "work-horse" and gave it a clean bill of health. In any case, he indicated that I needed a new air conditioner/heating system, not just a new air conditioner. I also needed a new thermostat which he installed and attempted to sell to me for $150. I shared that I did not need a thermostat since I had no air conditioner and he promptly removed it. The serviceman was not rude, but I found his manner of to be somewhat condescending to me as he explained why I needed to replace my broken air conditioner and my fully functional heating system. He stated that I should call and speak to someone else in the company if I wanted to know how much it would cost to replace the a/c and heating system. I followed up and was promptly provided with a quote. The quote was higher than expected, I provided another figure and was informed that I would get a response the same day. Two days later, the call was returned but by then, I had worked a deal with their competitor. Admittedly, my air conditioner was old, but I had no problem before it was "checked and cleaned" by this company, though I will not go so far as to state that they broke the unit because it was so old. However, based on their experience in the field, maybe they could have declined to work on it since it was so old. In any case, the conficting opinions from the same company did not leave me feeling confident with the company overall.

They arrived on time and were done in a reasonable amount of timeand when y theywere here even reduced the change once they realized that one of the repairsdid not need to be done. Overall I was very pleased.

They did an excellent, excellent job. I will be using them again. The man that came out was on time and professional. He took his time with the work and cleaned up after he was done. I have no heitation to recommend them to friends and family.

We purchased two Big Deals for A/C cleaning and inspecting. We immediately received an email to set up an appointment and set one one up for the next day. Pete arrived promptly and thoroughly and carefully cleaned, as well as inspected our two units. They were pretty dirty, so he had his work cut out for him, but he took his time and did a great job. He also discussed the efficiency of the units before and after the cleaning and confirmed the freon was at the right level. In addition, he replaced a screw that was missing in the duct work of one of our furnaces.

Company called to verify appointment date and time. Serviceman arrived on time, explained in detail exactly what he would be testing and doing as far as servicing the air conditioner. Additionally, the serviceman gave advise on mainting the air and furnace in good condition. I would definitely deal with these folks again.

The inspector came at the specified time, performed the inspection, and presented me with his findings. Everything was functioning correctly and all my questions were answered patiently.

Went very well. The AC was noticeably cooler once the heat exchanger was cleaned and the technician also discovered that the drain line was clogged. He fixed the clog and cleaned the system quickly and professionally.
