All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning

They promised a service call by 5:00PM, but amazingly they showed up within 45'! I was very happy to see them. Their service professional, Roberto, was outstanding. He worked methodically taking care of the issue (burners had gotten wet from a dehumidifier leak) and was done in good time. The heat is back, the tenants are happy, and I am very satisfied with AllTemp and Roberto's work.

Alltemp came out to assess our cooling problem, and gave us a detailed explanation of why our system was not working for our house, and what our options might be. They sold us a an electric ductless A/C/heating system after giving us full disclosure about the pluses and minuses of the system. They scheduled the work promptly, came out and worked hard until it was finished. The job was cleanly done with great quality and we love the system. The system was expensive, but our heating and cooling bills are significantly reduced.

The salesperson was very responsive. The estimates were accurate. There were a few minor items (line hide installation) and correction of electrical work during the process that needed correction, but the contractor handled these without any question. Overall the work was done well. I would hire them again and would recommend them to others.

This was not an easy job. The guy who installed the boiler was highly skilled with a lot of experience. The boiler they replaced was from 1963...the water heater was 1985...needless to say..much more efficient heating system now. It took two and a half days to put in...they left for a half a day...arrived late the first day...in saying that... I canceled the first appointment, a week prior, because of family illness...Mike was very understanding...know we threw off their schedule as well. Mike, Vice President of company came to home, very accommodating, knowledgeable, professional...great at returning phone calls or text messaging. They brought in another company to haul it out...also very professional. The piping, installation was complicated because of heating circumstances with two separate systems into one...the technician took his time and did really excellent work, took pride in his work...which was nice to see. Only complaint...the old water heater had a very thick gel at the bottom of it...they threw it out in my garden...I had to pick it up by hand...the water hose would not even dissolve it...didn't kill anything but it did have a slightly burning quality, ...we have dogs...alley in a container would have been a much better choice. We also found it on the ground in the alley. We live by the river, ...animals, people walking through it. Again, picked it up by hand, put it in a container and threw away. Also had to replace three bags of pea gravel to get rid of it all. Besides that, they did a great job...very nice people to deal with. Would highly recommend them.

The tech took care of checking the furnace efficiently. There were a few glitches with the dispatch department. I was scheduled for 10am to 2pm that day and dispatch called asking if the tech could come earlier. We agreed on 9am. At around 10:30am I called to see what happened and was told I was next on the list. The tech arrived about 1:20pm. That was well within the original time schedule but I did get conflicting information in between.

Everything turned out great. They came out and did the work, and honored the coupon. We would recommend them.

When they came out, the let me know that my air conditioner was positioned in a such a way that it would take several hours to do the work since there is no way to access the unit without dissembling it. They said they had visited my apartment building before and they already knew about the issue with the positioning of the units and they weren’t sure if their company was able to service out units at all in the future. They were friendly and helpful, they just couldn’t do the work.

It was great---the serviceman was on time, which was important to me, and seemed to know what he was doing. The system works just fine and I know they will come out when I need them at no charge since we have a yearly contract with them.

We have been in our home for two years and have a 16 year old furnace. Before the winter, I wanted to make sure it was cleaned and inspected. I also wanted to get an idea of what a new system would cost us because it is an older unit. I received a coupon in our ValPak and felt that ALL Temp had a strong presence on Angie's List. I called and booked the appointment. Times were fairly flexible given that it is the busy season for furnace checks. The tech, Kevin, called 20 minutes before arriving at 3:30. We had the 3:30-5 window. When he arrived, he immediately started making conversation, making me comfortable. We went to look at the furnace and he began to check our humidifier. He made suggestions about changing filters and said that it would be cheaper to do on our own, but he would be happy to install one for me. I asked where to find these filters, and he gave me suggestions. After opening the furnace, Kevin walked me through what he was looking at, making suggestions for home improvements and giving suggestions on different filters. Not once did he try and sell an additional product or service. After he cleaned the furnace, he asked I we would like to sign up for a member bonus program that would (long-term) save us more money than the coupon. By paying for our spring air conditioner check now, we saved $15/service. I then asked questions about new units and he gave me a few names to look up on the website and recommendations of what to look for. Because of his knowledge and friendly manner, I did not feel pushed or pressured. He was conscious of new units being costly and did not try and sell us something even though it is getting worn down. This left me with a great impression.

They did an excellent job. Everything was wonderful. The gentlemen wasn't trying to sell me a new furnace. He showed me and talked to me about the different parts on the furnace. I really like how he explained everything to me.

Making the appointment was easy over the phone. The operator even reminded me that in addition to the coupon I purchased, I would also get a discount for any additional items such as freon. I was told up front how much the freon per pound would be. The service person came on time and was friendly. He inspected the problem. He explained step by step what he was going to do and walked me through every step of figuring out what was wrong. He showed me how to read the gauge to indicate if there was a problem with pressure, temperature, or lack of freon. After it was confirmed that the unit was extremely low on freon, it was not clear if there was also a leak. He explained the different ways to deal with a leak, the pros and cons, the different costs involved. There was no pressure to go with any of the methods. In the end, I elected to only add freon and not go with the other more expensive methods. I watched him weight the freon before and after. I was charged the accurate pounds of freon and the price was the same as what the operator told me when I made the appointment. I also got the discount on the freon without needing to remind him. Besides the two $55 coupon, the only other charge was the freon - there was no unexpected surprise. He did not leave until after we tested the AC and started feeling cold air coming out of the vents. It was a very smooth experience. I was very satisfied.

A technician cleaned my central a/c unit, tested it to make sure it was working and cooling appropriately, topped of the coolant - extra charge - and offered to sell me a new insulated cover for the tubes/pipes that run from the unit to the house for $9 per foot, I needed about three feet. When I passed on the pipe cover, he installed it for free. The a/c unit worked just fine all summer, I used it a lot.

See above, great experience from start to finish. Everyone at All Temp made the process as painless as possibly, with says a lot considering how frustrating broken central air conditioning can be!!

We worked with Rich, who was amazing. He gave us free new bleeders for our radiators. He came back early Sunday morning to fix an issue with the original repair. We will continue to use AllTemp for all our needs with our boiler and hot water radiators

They were great! Definitely knowledgable and response. They partially fixed the problem.

They did not pressure me into getting a new unit, and did a good job inspecting.

Guys was decent but wanted to sell me on a teardown of my unit to find a leak. He was right, there was a leak but I wasn't looking to get it from him. The original installer took care of it later.

Just fine--simple job of maintenance and we feel secure in knowledge that we're set for winter.

Salesman was very courteous and helpful. Provided an estimate and then came down in price after I advised that another company had provided a better price for a different competing product line. Like anything, I felt I was still paying more than I would pay if I knew more about the products, how much it really costs to install, etc...but that is true about everything. All in all it was a good experience, the company personnel were very nice, and they provided exactly what they said they would provide. If it was free it would have been better, but you can't win them all (-:
