Very happy with Adrian's service. Glad to find a very responsive and responsible contractor who gets the job done fast without the usual b.s. and mark ups. Def would use him again!

Overall all it was good work. I just wish I had contacted someone closer to my residence

Woke up Saturday morning and took a sip of water from the glass on my bedside table. Noticed that the ice from the night before had not melted. Hmmm. Got out of bed and immediately shivered. The thermostat was set to 67 but the temperature was 52. Turning it off and back on did not do the trick. Logged on to Angie's List. First ad I found said 24 hour emergency service. But they weren't available till Monday morning. Guess that no heat in Chicago in February is not an emergency. And then I called Adi's. Adrian said he could send someone within an hour. Patrick showed up on time and I escorted him to my furnace. Within a few minutes he told me that the problem was my filter. I never got the memo that said I had to change it every few months. I didn't have a spare so Patrick drove to Home Depot to get me one. Then he noticed that my humidifier was broken. So he fixed that too. Was done without an hour. I didn't ask for an estimate because I needed my heat. Total due was $120. Worth every penny.

HW heater is in building basement, located near exterior wall, area has very low ceiling. Adrian researched options for low ceiling and found one that would provide volume and recovery time for the # of tenants in building. We have a solar thermal system already installed, so he did additional research to confirm that the new hot water heater would work with it. On day of install, in addition to his two team members, he brought a licensed plumber. Wanted to be certain sure all the connections and pressure would work for us. Adjusted pipe sizes as needed. Left the site clean. Appreciated his attention to detail. After a few weeks, the new hot water heater had an issue with the pressure relief valve, under warranty, so Adrian was back on site to replace that part, no extra charge. Timely response, very thorough.

Overall, while I am writing this with HEAT, I would say it went well. I will Call Adi to maintaiin and service our Boiler with no reservations thus far.

Our inline A/C wire was accidentally cut over the weekend, and on one of the hottest weekends we've had yet this summer. I called around to 5 other places before calling Adi's and couldn't get service until Monday/Tuesday of the next week. Adrian answered right away and told me that he could have a technician come over around 5-6p that Saturday afternoon. He showed up that evening and assessed the situation; the technician was very smart and well-mannered. We were told the fuse had blown and that he was going to try and go to the nearest Ace Hardware to get one; Ace's was closed. As plan B, he used the old fuse to make a makeshift workaround in order to get the outside line functioning with the furnace. Thereafter fixing that, he went back outside to replace where the wire was snapped and put on wire nuts for the time-being. We really need to get a new A/C so this is all a temporary solution for the rest of summer.

Of course our AC unit stopped working on the hottest day of the year...at about 5pm. Most AC places were closed or couldn't come until the next day. I called Adi's and he was able to have someone come out within the hour. It took him a whole of about 10 minutes to replace the capacitor, which was a little frustrating given the amount the service call cost us, but we can't really blame his team because we don't know the first thing about AC units or how to fix them! So we paid the money and the AC was working again. All in all I'm very pleased with the service we received. We will definitely call Adi's again ... which hopefully won't be for a while.

He was very good. He couldn't fix the problem. He tried and it just wouldn't work. He told me what needed to be done. He didn't charge me for the work that he did. He was very professional.

Adrian came to come house to fix a water heater. It turned out to be a bigger issue they we anticipated. We were out of water and he was kind enough to rearrange his schedule to come to our house and perform the repair. Very nice, very professional, clean and not expensive. Recommend in the heart beat!

Adi's is absolutely perfect. They commit to resolving any emergency as fast as humanly possible. He really extends himself personally to get the job done. If it means he is working until 10 or 11 at night he will do that. He can handle most heating jobs I have asked him to take on. He is technically proficient and he knows how to resolve a problem properly. He is a real human being. He is honest and will always tell you exactly what the situation is and if he doesn't know he will be honest about that.

Overall Adi was great, professional, on time, and when problems arose he took care of them. We originally contacted another Angies List HVAC company for recomendations on a new humidifier. They recommended the steam humidifier but they cautioned me that they require a lot of maintenance and that they get a lot of service calls on them. I was reluctant to put in a product that would require a lot of service calls. I got a second opinion from Adi. He came out looked at the furnace, and gave us two options. The steam humidifier was the recommended one, but he said he would need to put in a water filter to avoid problems. He seemed to know exactly about the problems with the steam humidifiers and said he always does a filter and the customers do not have any problems. He quoted us one price for the humdifier, water filter, and furnace cleaning. Since he seemed to be more knowledgeable about the humidfier, we had him do the work. He was on time, nice, professional, he showed up himself. The installation took longer than expected because the water line was goofy (the developer didn't do a good job) so he needed a few parts (which he had in his truck) and it took more time. Also, he had to call the manufacturer of Honeywell to get the codes to link it to our digital thermostat, which took more time that he had estimated to us. However, he did not try to charge us more for the extra labor or parts. Great attitude. Honest. We had a problem the following day with the furnace not working, we called him, he came out within a few hours, and there was a piece of debris from the cleaning process that got lodged somewhere that was affecting the igniter. He quickly identified the problem, corrected it, and left - no charge. I couldn't ask for better service. He advised us that the blower and blower motor on the furnace were looking worn, he did not recommend replacing it yet, but said we should anticipate that expense in the next year or two. Good to know for our budget planning! And when we have furnace problems, we will have him back out to do the work.

I called Adrian for a second opinion on my heating issues. I had recently had my heaters cleaned by Four Seasons but afterwards the blower for my heater would not turn off. Four seasons came back and said that my switchboard to control the blower was broken and it would be over $700 to fix it. Adrian came to look at my heater (on a Saturday) free of charge. He came up with the same diagnosis but estimated that he could fix it for half the price. Adrian came back 2 days later with the part and fixed the problem as promised at half the price. Adrian was very professional and friendly. Being able to do the work for half of the price of a big company makes Adrian a strong recommendation for anyone with heating issues.

I've used them twice; once was in September 2010 and the other last July. They previously put in our water heater and he replumbed a drain for the air conditioner which he didn't have to do. It was the hottest week of the year and he actually came within an hour of when I called to get up on my roof. The work was done within an hour. The price was very reasonable for the fast service.

Adrian was extremely friendly and professional. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and his staff was just as friendly and professional as he was. I've worked with many places before that have tried to get me to replace unnecessary items (furnace; heater; etc.), and Adrian was extremely honest. I would recommend Adi's Heating & Cooling to any of my friends and family.

They did great work. They were prompt and very reasonably priced.

It was a very positive experience. Overall they are extremely honest, direct, knowledgeable, and have a genuine concern for good long term business relationship and the best way to meet the needs of their client. There were a couple things I would have done differently to get a better looking job which is why they weren't perfect on quality.

Since purchasing our home, we've had problems with our old thermostat not reading true. To maintain ~ 70 deg , we've had to set thermostat in to ~ 87 deg. Additionally, when the outside temp varies significantly in the winter, I'd need to adjust all entries i the thermostat program to maintain any degree of comfort. Bottomline the thermostat was not doing any kind of reasonable job of maintaining a comfortable temp by itself. We had used Adrian for another job and decided to give him a call again to discuss. He answered my call we set a time to meet in 2 days. He arrived promptly, and was clean and professional. Using an infrared temp sensor he determined that the temperature in the wall directly behind the thermostat was 10 deg higher than the surrounding area. The thermostat had been mounted near a HVAC duct. Also, a register was significantly closer to the Thermostat than recommended. To rectify the situations w/o chopping up walls and running new wires ... we opted to have him install a new Wireless thermostat. This interfaces wit the existing furnace / blower controls. Adrian reviewed the different models available and we settled on a Honeywell unit which has a nice screen and controls, easy programming, and cost approx $200. Adrian had the unit installed within 2 hours. He also did some maintenance work on our Humidifier. Since installation , the temperature of our house has self - regulated and we no longer need to play the "fool the thermostat" game to attempt to maintain a good temp.

Adrian was able to meet for an estimate in a few days, installation started the next week and was completed on time (a one and a half day job). After the installation, he also helped with directions on how to file paperwork for the various tax credits. Very helpful, curtious, punctual and a good value as far as the price to performance on the Rheem system installed.

During a hot spell our air conditioning went out. ADI came out right away, while other companies wanted to wait 2 to 3 days. He found the problem and was very honest about our options and cost. The unit worked for a day and then died again, ADI came out IMMEDIATELY and corrected a problem at no additional cost. Very nice guys, very professional, and very responsive.

My house has a kitchen which prior to my ownership was remodeled and expanded out over a deck on the rear of our house. The back of the kitchen was always cold in the winter, hot in the summer. There was one HVAC register in the rear of the kitchen , which was fed from a duct which extended out of the back side of the basement foundation, up thorgh the deck, and into wall of kitchen. When we decided to renovate the kitchen , we decided that one way to help with the temperatures was to install an additional HVAC register. However this was tricky as we did not want to run additonal ductwork outside the walls of the house. Our kitchen remodeler, Ned Trivic, (highly reccomended), came up with the idea of adding a duct which extended from the main trunk, between the floor joyces to the edge of the wall, up through the kitchen wall, and out the toe kick panel of the end kitchen cabinet. An in-line boost fan would help pull more air flow through as this would be at the very end of the trunk line. Great idea , I just needed help getting it executed. Enter Adrian. When I called Adrian and he came out to inspect our house, he knew immediately what we needed. He was able to sync with the schedule of Ned's crew, so as to arrive when the basement ceiling was opened and completed his work within 1 day. His crew was knowledgable and detail oriented. The fan he selected was a high quality unit with a 10 year maintainance free life. They tied it to our furnace controls so that when the furnace blower comes on the boost fan automatically does as well. The results have been enjoyable. Strong quiet and discrete AC airflow in the kitchen this summer. Now we can not wait for cold weather !!

Adrian was very responsive from the very first contact. He was good at assessing our needs and offering a solution different from the one we originally thought of because it was a better fit and less expensive. The work took two days. Both guys were punctual. They did the work really well coming up with creative solutions for where to install the ducts for best result. They also cleaned up after themselves which is tricky given this type of installation.

Very rarely these days (unfortunately) do I work with someone who comes through on every detailed promise that they make to me. I was expecting Adrian to forget something that he said he would do. But to my amazement, he came through on everything. He also said that he will come out each year to inspect everything free of charge to insure proper function! I cannot stress my content with this company enough. Great guy, great customer service, and a great, functioning furnace!

My furnace was kept shutting down and my home was heating inconsistently. I called Adrian and he was able to see me the following day, which was great since my home was freezing! He came to fix the problem and it worked for a while but then, unfortunately, the same problem with the furnace surfaced again. Adrian came back the same day I called and stayed for HOURS until he got to the bottom of the issue, virtually took everything apart and put it back together again--and he didn't charge me a dime for the second visit. I also needed a new part, and Adrian did all the leg work to make certain it was under warranty. The furnace and the new humidier, which he installed as well, have been running smoothly ever since. Adrian is a true professional--he is prompt, polite, efficient, and his prices are VERY fair--he could easily charge more for his services. He even called the following day just to make certain that everything was operating as it should.

Adrian was very thourough and explained everything in detail to me. Very fast, efficient work. Got an appointment 2 days after I called.

Fantastic experience! Adi and his installers really know their business. Evaluated the installation conditions, discussed options and gave a quote right away. I gave the OK and a few days later his installer put in the furnace all in one (long) day. As a result of careful planning and communication between Adi and the installer, the installer worked on his own, diligently and conscientiously, for most of the day, and then near the end Adi was on site to supervise the final hook-ups and make sure all was working perfectly. Left the work area clean and neat. Very good communication, expert work, perfect follow through. Adi is a really genuine guy, highly professional, thoughtful, and definitely a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this contractor for excellent work, excellent service, and an excellent price!
