The work was completed in one day. I was provided videos of the work as each phase was finished. The workmanship and professionalism of Robert Adams and his crew exceeded expectations.

Robert was extremely responsive - he came out for an in-person assessment the same day we reached out and was able to start the project the next day. He and his team arrived on time and completed the project quickly and on schedule. We also really appreciated that the team took pictures of the initial damage and each step of the repair process so we could better understand what was happening. It was really helpful especially as we are first time homeowners and don’t know the ins and outs of home repairs. We would definitely recommend Adams Roofing and would hire them again in the future!

I contacted Robert on a Friday and Saturday morning, he and his crew promptly arrived to tackle the job. Their commitment to quality was evident—they even went above and beyond to ensure the work was completed swiftly. The excellent craftsmanship has put my mind at ease for the next decade. Robert, a skilled salesman, prioritizes ethical customer relationships. I eagerly anticipate reaching out to him again for roof maintenance and tuckpointing. Robert took on a very difficult project. Our home is a Chicago landmark, and thus we needed to handle our old clay tiles with care; individually removing them and cleaning them so that the roof could be replaced. The roofers then reinstalled the entire clay system after removing an old obsolete chimney and tuckpointing another one. They also sanded down or repaired many aging soffits and fascia, replaced that which had been destroyed or rotted. We had a number of changes along the way, so we had to negotiate as we went and Robert was reasonable in those discussions. As a final note, we quoted out five contractors. Two said our project was too difficult. Two others didn't return my requests for the proposed work; and I wasn't surprised given how pessimistic they were about their ability to accomplish our project. Thanks Robert and team for doing this work.

Robert Adams was very professional and did the worked as promised. The staff was courteous and friendly. The project was done on time. I would recommend them to everyone.

Our HOA evaluated four different roofing companies and chose Robert/Adam's Roofing to repair and replace our flat roof which had been causing water damage to the top unit. It was November, so we needed it done quickly and they were able to complete the job in two days, even faster than was quoted. The team did high quality work and documented the entire process to ensure we were clued in the whole way. There were no up-charges, and in fact Robert's team ended up doing some additional work that wasn't originally scoped for no fee. Overall, very trustworthy and would hire again!

Robert was very polite, communicative and timely. Gave me a couple different options to solve the problem and then fixed my roof in one day. Would hire again.

I am not one to usually leave reviews but my experience with Adam Roofing and Tuckpointing could not have gone any better. A new roof on the house and garage, fence, spot tuckpointing and painting the front iron fences. Robert was on sight multiple times a day, provided pictures of progress, and fully engaged from start to finish. The price was fair and the work was excellent. Will be calling Robert in the future for a few more projects. Highly Recommend!

Robert Adams came out himself on behalf of his company to give our condo association an honest assessment of what needed to be done most urgently, then advising on what we could do down the road. His quotes were close-to-the-bone fair to us, because he knew we didn't have enough in reserves to do it all at once. Robert Adams made it work. We got 20 years of security out of the first go, and many of the things we thought were perilously in need of attention were actually not (which we verified with third and fourth bidders). When Robert discovered something to be worse than originally thought (because it was impossible to see until they took things apart), he tried to address it with as little overage as possible. We still came in way under the budget we thought we would to allot much later after amassing funds through a special assessment. Then once the crew finished up on the roof, brick walls and lintels, they power-washed the façade of our antique building, leaving us amazed that we had a solid roof and fresh looking building with no structural risks in a matter of a few days. As a side note, Robert is always willing to offer advice on unrelated jobs, finding out about costs and getting excited about projects he's not even being paid to work on. We'll be seeing him again for sure. Easy 5 stars for Adams Roofing in Chicago.

A major storm knocked a few rows of shingles lose, which revealed that the decking was.... completely rotted out and there were now holes in the roof that were completely exposed. Robert was out the same day to give us an estimate and -- what we appreciated most -- squeezed us into a very busy schedule since we were leaving town right away for a family emergency. The crew came on-time, got to work and finished within the day even when it was discovered that this was going to be a much bigger project than initially expected. Communication was clear and prompt, clean-up was good, and I was able to leave town feeling confident that our house would stay safe and dry.

Fabulous! Robert went out of his way to help me get the work done quickly and efficiently. His workers were here early and were friendly and hard working. They cleaned up the site when the work was completed. Robert checked on the progress of the job throughout the day and communicated with me in person several times. I would definitely recommend this company. Robert is a very honorable businessman. I was quite pleased with the service.

Adam and his team did an excellent job at my place. There was a lot of work to be done. They showed up early every morning and worked productively for days. The team is highly experienced and takes great pride in its work. I recommend Adam’s Roofing & Tuckpointing to everyone who needs work on their home exteriors (roofing, masonry, deck, etc.)

your brother is also a roofer and he talk with the contractor and check and they did an excellent job, they did what they supposed to do, Adam was so good and he was sending me pictures of the job doing every step until the job is done. I will also recommend them.

Robert was very prompt in responding to the inquiry placed through Angi. He came to our house within a couple of days, and explained very clearly the likely source of the leak, and the options for fixing this. He was able to arrange for the repairs to take place within just a few days. His team was on time, worked the full day, they were very efficient, very respectful of our property, and the quality of the work was exceptional. I highly recommend this company, and will strongly consider their services for future work.

He might be the best roofer in the world, but I wouldn't know because he couldn't supply a certificate of insurance he promised with workmen's comp. He sent an incorrectly made out certificate of insurance, made out to me personally and it didn't have workmen's comp. Even though I had told him, it had to be made out to the condominium association. He assured me he had workmen's comp and then spent a week stroking me along, saying he'll get me the insurance stuff tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. The only thing I finally got was an email with a few sentences saying what work he was going to do, (I guess that was his official proposal) and a bizarre email saying he already sent me the certificate and was I not getting my emails. When I questioned him about it, it turned out he meant the incomplete wrong one he sent the first time . It was like he completely had forgotten he needed a corrected certificate with workmen's comp and told me this job was just him doing me a favor anyways. He could have just told me on day 1 he didn't have workmen's comp and save me wasting time while our roof is still leaking and save him from getting this review.

I was very pleased with the work these gentlemen did. Robert explained everything that was going on, including videos & pictures while it was happening. I would highly recomend them to anyone.

The roof repair work and communications with Robert the owner of Adams roofing was great, Robert and his employee Jose came out to my mom's house on a Sunday morning evaluated the repairs needed to the roof and did all the work in the same day. Jose was very professional and did a tear down and rebuild of part of the roof to fix the leaking roof. I will hire Adams roofing again to provide repairs at my home.
