We ultimately chose another service provider mainly because of scheduling. However, Jeff was extremely responsive, prompt and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for a future job.

We were able to walk through the house with Jeff the owner. We told him what we wanted to do, he gave us his opinion and feedback and it was very helpful. He helped us choose paint colors. We also had an out of country trip in which we trusted him and his team to come into the house and do their work. Very happy with contact we had with him and professionalism he showed.

The work took a little over two days, and the results looked great. They painted before we moved in, so the unit was empty and we were not there during the majority of the work. They will be returning next week to finish our dining room (we had a recent fireplace demo project), kitchen (after installation of a backsplash), and living room (after TV hardwire). Overall, the paint looks great, however we did notice some slight streaking in the guest bath and the area behind the toilet was not covered completely. When we brought this up to Jeff, he apologized and said he would touch up those areas on his next visit. We recently had a contractor in to do some odd jobs and he asked for Jeff's number so he could refer him to his own clients. We had several painters come and give estimates and eventually chose Accurate Painters because their bid was one of the lowest, but also because we felt we had the best contractor-client interaction with Jeff during the walk-through. He was very personable and knowledgable, and asked and answered a lot of questions, which is something we look for in a contractor.

The condo needed extensive patching, big holes everywhere, and a giant opening that needed to be walled over (a mirror had concealed it The patching was great, you can't tell where the patching was done. High quality paint job, all hardware was taped off, and after the work was done they cleaned up after themselves and left extra paint for future touch ups. Very high quality work, will be using them again for other project.s

Jeff worked with a carpenter who built and installed a wall unit in my apartment and replaced the baseboards. He painted the wall unit prior to installation. After the installation, he did some touch-up on the unit and caulked and painted all the baseboards. Prior to working with Jeff, I consulted with him on the phone regarding the color of the unit. I had a problem deciding on the shade, and he prepared samples of the wood being used on the unit to show me what it would look like. He was very accommodating and helpful. Jeff and Adam were a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time, and started to work. It took them about a day and a half to complete the job. They do excellent and thorough work. The unit and baseboards look fantastic. I am very happy with the entire project. I am planning to paint my apartment in the future, and I would certainly hire Accurate Painters to get the job done. I highly recommend them.

From start to finish, these guys were pros. Incredibly responsive about the timing of arrivals/departures. We gave them keys so they could come and go with no issues. They did an amazing job on our house, so we hired them to go and do our entire condo to get it ready to go on the market. They took a place that looked pretty shabby after a move-out and completely transformed it. We had nothing to nitpick; they did it themselves! Would hire them again in an instant and will do so next time we need anything.

I have nothing bad to say about Jeff and the job that he and his colleague, Adam, did. While their price is not the cheapest out there, I felt like I got a great deal after they finished the job. You usually get what you pay for, but I felt like I got more out of what I paid for. Jeff was very professional and punctual from the very start. He came within a day to give me a quote and he was able to start on the job immediately after I made the decision to hire him. The job took 3 days and included minor patching, priming, and two coats of paint. He made sure that the job would be done within the timeframe he quoted and charged me the exact price he quoted at the end of the job. What I appreciated most was that Jeff would put in the extra work to make the final product look better without charging extra. For example, when the previous owners painted the walls, they did an amateur job and painted over the molding of the doors. Jeff and Adam did some touch-ups for no extra cost and the result looks great. I also had an extremely heavy closet door that my contractor took out but forgot to put back in. Jeff and Adam spent about 30 minutes getting the door back in, which clearly wash't in their job description, but they were happy to do it as a favor. They also had the courtesy to take off their shoes before entering the apartment, which was greatly appreciated. My walls look beautiful now and I would definitely hire Jeff and Accurate Painters again for my next paint job.

Jeff and his crew were very professional. They were the only ones who estimated the job down to the specific parts and pieces of what needed to be done. Jeff was always very clear about what he charged for everything and was more than happy to explain anything I had questions about. There were a lot of little issues with the old paint job which was peeling and coming up on the peaks and fascias around the house. On top of which, the front & back doors had issues with door jams and caulking problems where the archway met the stone. Some bigger issues involved the older garage door which was rotting. First they came and power washed the entire house and two garages (they were the only company that offered that as well). Then they came and did a pretty serious prime coat after scraping and peeling the old coats. We ran into an issue with very old lead paint which they were more than able to handle. They did all the wood work and bracing and fixing of the garage doors. The door required many, many visits and recoating to fill in the holes from the rotting wood with epoxy. Jeff and the team took their time doing this correctly, even as we ran into weather issues, it never seemed as though they rushed or took any shortcuts. There was a lot of detailed painting with dark and light colors, lots of trimming and touching up, and Jeff and his team seemed to have a very good eye and steady hand. Overall, we were very happy with the job. It looks beautiful. And I think it will last a good while. When we have the rest of the house and windows painted I'm sure we will call Jeff!

I was very pleased. I didn't have to be on site at all. Jeff and his team interfaced well with my tenants. The main door is old and was difficult to strip. The work turned out great. The painters showed up when they told me they would and finished when they told me they would. They also texted pictures to my phone to show me their work. As an owner of a rental property it's important to find contractors that I trust. Jeff Burris and Accurate Painters have earned my trust.

We recently hired AP Painters to repaint our entire front porch. It was a large and somewhat complicated project because we needed carpentry work done on it first. Not only did Jeff, the owner of AP Painters, refer us to a terrific carpenter, but he also worked in tandem w/ that carpenter to ensure that the overall porch work would be structurally sound as well as pleasing in appearance. Jeff and his crew were wonderful every step of the way. He was always timely, responded promptly to any concerns we had, and was patient with our questions. He also frequently checked in with us while the project was underway. The final product looks great ? in fact, all of our neighbors have commented on how nice our front porch looks. And, to top it off, Jeff?s prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend Jeff and AP Painters and plan to use them for all our future painting projects.

We got three quotes for re-painting our porch early this summer. Jeff and his crew was not the cheapest, nor the most expepensive, but he impressed us with his thoroughness and attention to detail. His quote showed the attention to detail we were looking for and he and his company were professional from start to finish. The job included re-finishing the entire front porch. This included Porch Deck, Stair Treads & Risers, Wood Railing and Balusters, Porch Skirt and Stair Stringer. Removal & Painting of Lattice under stringer. Painting of Exterior Concrete Column, Wood Column & Capitals. All supplies for job, and all prep ... Pressure washing, Sealing gaps with paintable caulk, Filling holes with wood filler,wire brushing (concrete), scraping, sanding and priming. It's very evident Jeff knows his trade. For the porch he used a stabilizing primer designed to penetrate into surfaces and bond everything together. It is a softer and flexible coating that keeps up with the constant expansion and contraction of the wood. The porch looks great and we are optimistic it will look that way for many seasons! Exceptional work and professionalism!

Overall, I would grade the performance of Accurate Painters as average. They painted some roof windows and did so neatly and accurately. I thought the foreman who prepared the windows for painting did a particularly good job. Overall, the painting was adequate, even though there is one spot where you can see the primer instead of the paint. The exterior work was also adequate. The painter spent an hour painting a lattice that I told them not to paint.

I was very dissatisfied with the completed work. It was not quite as good as they made it out to be. Mr. Burris watched over the job. Their workers also suffered from hygiene issues and you could not stand the smell. They were supposed to pre-treat the walls, but they did a lot of sanding and didn’t clean anything up. They didn’t cover the cabinets when they did the sanding and everything went in the cabinets. For the price I paid, I should have gotten better work.

We were beyond pleased with the quality and professionalism of Accurate! The start day for this project kept getting delayed due to weather, but Accurate was great about communicating with us and got started as soon as the weather cooperated. The team was extremely friendly and professional and they always made sure to consult with us if any costly decisions had to be made. They went above and beyond when they reinforced some of the deck paneling and painted our benches that we did not include in the quote. When we were having second thoughts about the paint color, one of the workers stopped what he was doing to show us that it in fact did match the color we were going for and that it was going to turn out just fine...we really appreciated that! The deck turned out great and they took the clean up very seriously, even scraping off a few specks of paint that had landed on the garage floor. We are already in communication with Accurate to help us with some interior projects this winter and will be using them next summer to help shape up our rooftop!

Jeff visited our home and gave us a very detailed and clearly itemized estimate of the work that needed to be done. We had some issues with cracked and peeling paint in some of the rooms and hallways and Jeff suggested ways to alleviate the problems. He also recommended that we replace a trap door to the attic which was in bad need of repair. All of the work went very well. Jeff, Matt and Adam were hard working, polite, and efficient. Jeff communicated well, updated us daily, and he and his team did everything that needed to be done. I appreciated his attention to detail. Our house looks great and we are very pleased. We would not hesitate to use them again and we highly recommend them.

This was our first use of a professional painter for our interior. Contacted Jeff through a referral and follow-up check on Angie's List. He came out and submitted a detailed proposal. Pricing and timing were good so we accepted. They started work as promised with Adam and Matt working full days, and Jeff stopping in to check and help. We were in daily contact with Jeff as the job grew from 4 days to 8 days due to additional work we added. Jeff was very helpful selecting colors and his workers were on time, courteous and professional. They carefully taped and covered everything, and used low-VOC primers and paints so there was no headache-causing odor. This job involved painting old and new walls, lots of windows and doors, removing wallpaper, and refinished the walls. We had them paint a bookcase and mantel near our fireplace but when the result was not what we envisioned, Jeff suggested staining the brick. It came out awesome! When all work was complete, we had a walk through and any needed touch ups were done quickly. Jeff constantly updates his quote so you always know what is being done and the cost - no surprises.

Very satisfied with the experience. He worked extra long because he wasn't expecting the paint to be so difficult to work with. However, he didn't bill any extra for the extra hours beyond his estimate. I was pleased!

It went EXTREMELY well!!I needed a metal pole that went up 2-stories to be scraped, primed and painted. The owner is extremely responsive and came over to view the project for it was an unusal request. He noticed some rust areas and pointed out those would be sanded before primed. It was such a pleasure to work with someone that is not going to take shortcuts in providing his service. I immediate felt I was dealing with a intelligent and hard working company- I felt confident that job would be done the proper way. In addition, I needed this service to be provided rather quickly due to weather and the arrival of a new awning that would hamper from getting this painted. They were extremely accomodating and fit me in to their schedule. In addition, Adam who performed the work was professional, gracious and addressed any concerns, even providing a second coat the next day.

I called Accurate Painters on the recommendation of a friend for a quote on painting our new home. Jeff came out quickly and gave me a detailed, itemized estimate at a fair price. We ended up doing the painting ourselves (and it's still not done...should have had Jeff do it!), but needed painters to get our old house ready to sell. Once again Jeff came out and gave the same detailed estimate. It was late summer, early fall, a busy time for painters and Accurate had a lot of exterior work they were doing, but they came in and got our house done. It took a little longer than estimated because of their busy schedule, but they got it done, including doing repairs that weren't on the estimate, and did not charge me for them. it looks great, and Jeff and his crew were friendly, clean and easy to work with. I would hire them again. In fact, if I don't get around to painting the rest of the trim in this new house, I will call Accurate Painters!

Jeff sanded out scratches and gouges in oak flooring on the second floor landing. Sanding included two badly scratched treads. He applied a coat of stain, and new scratches appeared after stain was applied. He could not spot-sand and restain just the scratches, so he re-sanded the whole landing. He reapplied stain to the floor and to three treads, followed by two coats of urethane clear coat. Jeff is a consummate problem-solver and is not satisfied until the job is perfect. He will come back next week to sand out a small stain bleed and give the floor another coat of of urethane, even though the estimate specifies two coats. Scheduling was a challenge due to Jeff's other commitments. We managed to schedule the work on two successive days over two weeks. He sanded on the first two days, interrupted by an equipment breakdown. He applied the stain and the two coats of urethane on the following week. This project began when we pulled up a forty-year-old shag rug from the stairs and landing. The stairs and landing now look terrific.

The project overall went well.
