We did not use this contractor for two reasons. First, they would not do the cement work in the alley and I was not interested in hiring two contractors for this job. And second, they did not identify the grading problem of the coping on the roof which probably led to some of the brick deterioration in the first place. However, I will have them return in the spring to discuss the wythe work because they did very nice looking repairs on our neighbor's house.

Estimator called me back promptly and scheduled an appointment to review scope of work. Arrived on-time. Informed me company's smallest crew is 6 men and that this job was too small for them. Very helpful with work and expected cost of work. Didn't understand why they wouldn't state minimum price or scope before hand, but didn't "waste" my time.

Rob was a joy to deal with, returning my calls very promptly and teaching me a great deal about chimneys (and roofs) in the process. It was clear that he wanted me to understand the work he was going to do, and spent quite a bit of time discussing the various options with me. His was not the lowest estimate I got, but neither was it the highest, and it was clear that he was more knowledgeable and accountable than the other masons I talked to. Rob and his crew were extremely prompt, professional, and courteous. In the end I got a beautiful chimney at a very fair price with a minimum of hassle. I highly recommend them.

I called to schedule an appointment and was told an estimator would call back. That was over 3 weeks ago. No one ever returned my call.

I was called back almost immediately, and Frank came out to give me an estimate. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. His bid was very reasonable, plus there was an Angie's List discount. Upon acceptance, he estimated when they'd be there and called to confirm. The crew worked hard, and Frank made sure that I knew who was the head person to chat with about the job. The crew leader was also accommodating to my personal desire to have my unit worked on only during one day so as not to be too disruptive.

Great experience overall. AAA's bid was about one thousand dollars lower than the other bid I solicited. AAA obtained the building permit, which added $500 to the cost. Work started about two weeks after I made my deposit. Workers were all pleasant and professional; they cleaned up after themselves well. They also trimmed some tree branches that rub against the building and cause damage. Only time will tell the quality of the work, but it looks great right now! My only quibble: I didn't receive a phone call confirming the start date (which hadn't changed, as it turned out when I called them on Friday afternoon the Monday before work started)

Robert came to the property to survey before providing a quote. Seemed very knowledgeable but after a follow-up phone call, we never received a bid. To be fair, I believe he indicated he was soon expecting his first baby so perhaps that was the cause for the delay.

They just finished yesterday;he is coming back to do some other work for me. I am pleased with them.

I heard good things about this company so I requested a quote to seal and tuckpoint our three unit condo building. I called on three separate occasions and they never came out or set up an appointment.

AAA promptly returned my phone calls, were able to come out for an estimate on short notice, and were able to come out to do the job sooner than estimated.

It was a pleasure to work with Rob and his entire team. Rob was very thorough and clear in outlining the work that needed to be done. The team was quick, efficient, professional, and provided quality work. Rob has continued to follow up with the work to ensure that we are satisfied, which we are.

High quality work, punctual, professional, worked quickly and left the site very clean. They were easy to deal with.

After carefully checking the website ( I have moved to the far south of the service area, and some companies don't work that far away), I called for Robert Reese, the posted contact. I explained my case to the receptionist, who said Robert would call. He called nine Days later. I had to ask him to hold a moment while I closed out another call. Either we got disconnected or something. He never called back and was not in the office when I tried to reach him. If these people don't want to bid on work in the South Suburbs, then they should say so on the site. If they are so busy that they can't return a sales call for nine days and then can't even complete the call, perhaps they should hire someone else, or just state that they don't need any new customers. I find this experience to be Poor. I have heard that their prices and workmanship are quite good. That's why I called. But that leaves three out of the five rating categories with a D or F rating. I wonder what went wrong here?

Called for estimate, no one showed, no one called when I called back I was told estimator keeps their own hours, so no telling when he would be by. 2 weeks later still no word.

This was one of the best repair experiences I've ever had. The estimates were timely and thorough, and the man who did the estimates truthfully told me what was necessary for structure vs, cosmetic purposes. He even came a second time when I had more questions. I was telephoned immediately about any delays in the onset of the work, due to the weather conditions. A very competent 6 man crew arrived exactly on time to begin the work, and completed both the work and their thorough clean-up in 5 hours. The foreman of the crew kept me informed every step of the way. This garage is 60+ years old, and after th work was completed, it looks as if it was newly built today. It looks spectacular!

They came out promptly to give me an estimate. The estimator was Scott, he was extrememly thorough. Paid great attention to detail, polite and knowledgeable. Did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. Did extremely good job. I gave my neighbor the referral and she is following up with him. Very good job at an extremely fair price. Very clean. It was a pleasure to do business with him. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Overall, this was a good experience. Frank, the sales person, was very professional and knowledgeable. The work was completed within 4 days from start to finish. The foreman walked through the job with me before starting and answered all questions. I was also satisfied with the cleanup after the job was complete. Also, a neighbor who is also a brick mason, commented that the work was high quality. Given the scope and quality of the work, the price was very fair and competitive. Finally, AAA-1 handled coordination with the roofer who completed the flashing work.

Very prompt and punctual. Good customer service. Completed project on time to complete satisfaction.

Robert Reese and AAA were such a pleasure to work with. They did an excellent job, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody looking for masonry work. They performed the job, were very helpful, professional on-time and on-budget. They cleaned up after they finished and did an overall great job.

Responded quickly and professionally to our request for an estimate. Chose another company that bid at a lower price. Would return to AAA-1 for an estimate in the future.

I had them give a quote for the same work another chimney company ended up doing. I was disappointed with the quote and the fact that they really didn't listen to what we were requesting the quote for.

After hours, I spoke with the owner on a pressing issue concerning the sale of a house. The representative was honest, succinct, and incredibly knowledgeable. He helped me not only with my tuckpointing questions, but also gave wonderful advice on the sale. I would recommend through and through.

We knew from the start that we would have a very good experience with AAA-1. They were concerned about not letting pets out of the back yard. They were very specific about the work that needed to be done to our chimney before we could put a new roof on the house. They were thorough, efficient, & VERY punctual. We couldn't even tell that they had been here since our garden had not been disturbed & there was no debris to be found. We highly recommend this company!

My call was returned promptly & an estimate was given in a very timely manner. We chose another company because they were less expensive, but we would definitely call this company again.
