We?ve had a standing appointment for bi-weekly house cleaning for several years. They arrive on time, proceed without supervision and accommodates special requests. We are extremely pleased with the house cleaning service.

The crew (either one or two persons) are ALWAYS right on time and I very much appreciate that. They are responsive to what I want cleaned and very cheerful and friendly. When I have to re-schedule due to my needs, Grace is accommodating. Most important to me is that I trust the women that clean as I am not always home. Additionally, I once used a person from A-1 to help me serve at an dinner event. That person was extremely professional and was a great help.

The two woman crew was terrific. They brought their own cleaning materials, vacuum, etc. They were prompt and paid special attention to the areas that I requested. Arranging a time over the phone was easy. When I asked the crew to call me on my cell phone about 20 minutes before they finished, there was no problem at all and they gave me enough time to come back and check things. The price listed didn't include windows; we had already had those done. I would definitely use them again. I was impressed.

Two women diligently cleaned our house before we moved in (6 hour job). They did a thorough job, paying special attention to areas of concern that I noted. They were friendly, polite and worked very hard to get the house in move-in condition. I'm very pleased with their service. I even received a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied with their service.

The two ladies that came out were wonderful, they worked hard and cleaned. The person that took the order might not have estimated correctly, because they were not able to finish in the time frame. A third of the house was left unfinished.

I called three top rated maid services and one was arrogant, one was inexperienced, and Grace was friendly and professional. She discussed what would be done and had a flexible schedule.

They clean really well. They use our supplies. They do a good job at everything. Their price is very competitive. They are always on time.

Grace is the owner and helps coordinate what I can only imagine is a large team of polish-speaking cleaning personnel. Grace first came by our place for an evaluation and to price the job. After that she assigned us a regular cleaning person and she does an excellent job, our house looks spotless when she is done. We've even shown her specific items (how to use our vacuum. working the alarm system, etc.) and it was no problem. The cleaning person is always prompt and I don't think she's missed a day of work (aside from rescheduling due to holidays). Overall we've been very happy with the service and I highly recommend using them. The amount of time we've saved cleaning our own house has been well worth it.

They did an excellent job, my house looked and smelled wonderful when they left. Our service provider was prompt and was like a whirlwind leaving a clean path behind her.

Fantastic! Very thoroughly cleaned. We did provide a printed cleaning checklist upfront so that probably helped align expectations for scope. Overall very pleased and I have started using A-1's cleaning services monthly.

My family was moving from Milwaukee to Chicago and I was busy with a newborn and finishing the packing, so my husband went down two days before our move to let the cleaners from A1 in. He was working from our new house and thought that he would not have to supervise the 2 cleaners. I thought it was funny when he called me three hours before they were supposed to be finished (2pm instead of 5pm) and told me they were done. I asked what the final bill was since A1 was supposed to charge us per hour and had projected am 8-5 cleaning would be $240. He told me he paid the ladies $280, which I was upset about since it was $40 over what had be quoted for, however, I didn't focus too long on it since it was only $40 and it would be worth it if they did a good job. After the movers left the three days later and I started unpacking, I noticed that there were some areas of the house that just didn't look clean. Over the next few days, I realized that the ladies had pretty much done nothing except vacuum. The refrigerator and freezer were filthy (still had food debris in both), the cabinet shelves in the kitchen were sticky and even had some form of goo from the previous owners on it, the windows still had dirt caked on them (the inside and outside) and when I wiped the floors off on the 1st floor with a wet rag the cloth turned black. I was shocked since first, the lady I arranged the service with at A1 assured me all of this would be taken care of with the deep clean service and second of all I have had cleaners in my past two homes and they never would have left my house looking like that, especially if I had paid them extra to do a deep clean. I called the service to complain and to see if I could get a refund or credit for some of the service. However, the lady who answered told me that they didn't respond to complaints after 24 hours of service. I explained I had just moved and was not at the house until a few days after the service. She said she'd call me back after speaking to the owner, but not to expect anything. The next day she called my husband (not me) and told him that since I didn't complain within 24 hours that they weren't going to do anything. He told her that was fine, but we would never use them in the future. I was completely dissatisfied with the service, price, lack of customer service and the fact that I had to re-clean everything in addition to unpacking and caring for a newborn. As a result of this, I would never use A1 Polish Service again and would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

For some time I had been pleased with their service. However, it then came to my attention that there were problems. I approached the owner about making it right regarding the disputed items. She has not agreed to reimburse me for my out-of-pocket expenses. The amount that's in dispute is $643.50. If you care about your belongings at all, don't use them.

We have been using A 1 Polish cleaning ladies for a couple of years now, at least once a month. They are very professional and very good, I'm always extremely pleased with the job they do and they one time I wasn't satisfied (they didn't clean my microwave and there was also a spot in my shower that wasn't cleaned), the office was very apologetic and very prompt with remedying the situation. Since then I have never had any issues. I would highly recommend them.

I have been using A1 Polish Services Inc. for over a year now, and they are great! The two ladies come in, on time all the time, and start working. I have all the supplies, so they don't have to bring everything with them. If there is a scheduleing problem, Grace, is very easy to work with. They are professionally and very nice to deal with!

Two Ladies arrived wright on time with a smile on their faces and did an outstanding job. We have had 4 previous house cleaning companies in the past 5 years but Grace's crew did the best job ever. My house has never been so spotless!

This service has been absolutely fantastic. I switched to this cleaning service after trying a couple in the area that I had not been pleased with. These girls are very thorough, extremely pleasent and we have the two same women almost every time. When we ask for something to be done differently they happily oblige and they always let us know when we are out of certain cleaning equipment as soon as they see it so we are not stuck for the next time. On top of all this, they called and actually reduced my price when they realized it wasn't going to take as long as they initially thought. How is that for customer service? Really, Really fantastic!

It went ok, but there was a communication issue. I expected to see the same person every time, and I wasn't notified when there was a different person.

The owner sent out the cleaner and I found out that the cleaner only takes home half of what the owner charges for the service. So as a courtesy because I truly felt sorry for this woman. I gave her a 10 dollar tip. I found out that later the owner wanted to charge me more for the service because I had tipped the cleaner and also wanted a part of the tip. When. I found this out I didn't want to deal with her service anymore. The cleaner too was unhappy with the owners unprofessionalism and as a result quit. Here. Is my update. The review asks for approximate date of services, not exact. I don't remember the date but know it was spring and the events between the owner are valid and true. The point being made is the interaction between said owner and me. Whether the service was in May,, June or july, you still the proprietor and subcontractor of the service. The occurrences happened in the last six months and I still stand by my statement that you ( the owner) asked for the cleaner's tip and wanted to charge me more for weekly services after finding out I tipped her. Your response to an earlier review that I kept her on despite you asking for the tip is untrue. I immediately cut my decision to stay with the service and your secretary told me the cleaner quit because she no longer had time to work was also untrue. In fact I called her. These unsavory interactions with the owner and finding out the cleaner quit because of the owners treatment. Again this is the most unprofessional and unfair owner. I have ever come across.

It went fine, but I had a question for the receptionist and she never got back to me. The issue was, the cost of mopping and dusting the basement level of my home. This is contingent on the time needed, she stated that she would talk to the women who have cleaned my house to get me an estimate. She still has not called me back. If the issue is resolved, I would use them in the future.

A1's people have all been very professional from the start. The owner came out first to see our condo, and discuss exactly what we wanted done. Phone follow-up has been frequent, by the owner and her assistant. Our cleaner is fast, thorough, and checks to see if there is anything new that needs to be done. On her second visit, she finished before her estimated time was up, so she asked if she could do some extra cleaning! I would definitely recommend A1 Polish Cleaning Services.

Two employees came and did a wonderful job. Have booked for next time.

First of all, their cleaning ladies used our washer to wash their mopping cloths. If I had not walked in on them, I wouldn't have known and would have used the washer to clean my kids' clothes! They did apologize and gave me $20 refund afterwards, but the damage was already done. Secondly, they did not clean our newly installed travertine floors. All the construction dirt was still on the surface. It took me 2 hours to clean the floors with wet mop. I paid the post-construction cost, and did not get it cleaned at all. Third, they did not clean the oven. All the burned crusts from the use of previous owners were still inside the oven. They did come to our house to re-clean for half an hour, which was to my satisfaction. I later contacted them for bi-weekly cleaning services. In my email and phone exchanges with their owner Grace, she had led me to thinking that they could provide the services. Then I was told their crew does not have the time to clean my house! I had rejected the offers from other companies during this time. Now I have to reach out to them again which will minimize my negotiation leverage. I purchase janitorial services for my company. This behavior is just not acceptable!

Excellent work. Although two cleaners were scheduled, one had jury duty so the other (Magda (sp?)) took on the project herself and worked very hard. Thorough cleaning. I was happy with my previous cleaning service of three years (before A1) but I couldn't reach that other service--I think they may have gone out of business. So I am happy I gave A1 a try and will be using A1 moving forward.

hOur maid, Hula, is wonderful. She always arrives on time and is cheerful and professional. She does an excellent job and is very conscientious. We have had many housekeepers over the years, and she is absolutely the best. Based on her performance, we highly recommend A1 Polish Services.

Two incredible ladies (Margaret and Eva) came over at 8 am and cleaned my house and made it look like new. And I am not kidding. Like new. Highly recommended. How in the world they were able to make appliances, sinks, mirrors...everything look like it had never been used before is beyond me, but obviously they are super professionals and know everything about cleaning a 2 story house in just 4 hours...miracle!
