It was a good service. The person arrived a few minutes early and got right to work. I purchased 4 hours and she was done in about 3 hours and 30 minutes although I was charged for all 4 hours. She did a pretty good job but I did notice one or two areas that were not cleaned well. Overall she did a good job.

They did a really good job working in a tough situation. They stuck to the original estimate. They called often with questions and/or concerns.

I recently used A1 Polish Services to do a top to bottom move-in clean of our townhouse. Grace was wonderful to work with and was very accommodating with setting up the appointment. As per my request I was given a call a half hour prior to the crew showing up and they were right on time. I had 2 ladies come with all the necessary cleaning supplies. Both women were extremely courteous and listened intently to all requests I had. They did an excellent job cleaning and dusting everything in the house (including the few furniture pieces that had been sitting in storage for months). The house was literally sparkling when they were done! From beginning to end the experience was nothing but pleasant! I would highly recommend this company!

We are so very happy with the cleaning services. So happy that we hired for weekly cleaning. It's so nice to come home on Thursday to a clean house ready for the weekend.

They arrived exactly when they said they would. Went right to work and cleaned to more than my expectations. This was my first time ever hiring a cleaning service, and I am more than happy with the experience...will definitely schedule again.

A1 Polish (Margaret & Eva) are great!! They get everything so clean it's a joy to walk in the house after they've been there. Our place is approx 1400 sq ft, we've been paying $95 biweekly for cleaning. Additional cost when we want the oven or fridge cleaned, at our discretion. Margaret & Eva are so quick and good, and the A1 manager, Grace, has been very easy to deal with.

Went well. Everything was cleaned to satisfaction. Will definitely use them again in the future.

We've used A1 Polish Cleaners every other week for three years. They are regularly on-time and friendly. They do a good job. Grace, the owner, always checked in to see if we are satisfied, which we are.

Very good services. Grace came out and provided us a reasonable quote (very comparable if not better than other quotes we received). She provided one person to come and clean our house every other week. I have a 4 BR, 3.5 Bath house plus basement and she is there for 6h. Doesn't talk on her phone or answer calls (I don't even know if she brings her phone into the house) which is better than the other services we've used. Cleans very well. Overall I'm very satisfied and will continue using them.

Overall quite good experience. They are always here when they say they will be. Trustworthy and professional. I was really impressed when they even went so far as to finish my laundry in a neighbor's unit when my washer broke during the wash. I'm rather picky when it comes to cleaning, so there are a few things I do notice that I have to bring up to be addressed. Mainly things that are high up, like tops of the fridge or not cleaning the mirror all the way to the top, or cleaning the items within a room, such as floor fans, the picture frames, etc. The only improvement I can think of is if I did not have to ask for the non-bi-weekly cleaning items to be addressed and a bit more attention to detail. Overall, though, I am quite pleased with the service and would recommend them for individuals looking for a good, trustworthy and professional cleaning service at a fair price.

Terribly. I would never hire them again

They do a great job! Have been coming to my house for several months now. Initially had a team of 2 women and then due to a schedule change have now had one woman (Margaret) for several weeks now. Have always had professional, efficient service. Always on time. Does a great job on the whole house, top to bottom, cleaning wood trim, etc and not skimping on things. One week I left the inside of our media cabinet open (which is a dusty mess inside) and Margaret cleaned that too! Like having magic cleaning fairies come visit my house! Have recommended them to others and will continue to use for myself for the forseeable future.

I have used another well-known service in the past, but was really disappointed the last time they were here. So, I looked on Angie's list for a service with an A grade in my area. I called A1 and talked with Grace. She was very accommodating and scheduled a cleaning on the day I requested. She gave me a time, and told me what her team would need, I.e., rags, buckets, cleaners, vacuum cleaner., etc. The two women arrived at the exact time, and set about giving my house the most thorough cleaning it's had in a long time. They were fast, but efficient. My floors were all washed (bedrooms are hardwood), all woodwork was cleaned, furniture dusted and polished, kitchen and bathrooms were thoroughly cleaned. I was really pleased with the job they did. I will definitely call them again. And, the price was $200 less than the other company I used in the past.

I purchased the Angie's List deal for an initial house-cleaning service several weeks ago and was extremely pleased. I have since enlisted their service on a bi-weekly basis. These women are like super hero ninjas -- very fast and thorough. They are also very pleasant and always on time.

I was looking for someone to come and help clean twice a month as I am a single mom of a college student, I work full time, and am also a college student myself - I am usually very busy and that leaves my home a little neglected at times! I joined Angie's list and this was the first company I contacted. Grace came out on a Saturday morning to provide an estimate, and we made plans for the team come out for the initial cleaning. I can not tell you how nice it was to come home from school that night to a house that was super clean and fresh! These women did such an amazing job - the bathrooms looked fantastic, the floors were shining (I have hard wood floors that are original to the house, which is just over 100 years old), the kitchen was incredible - such a thorough job. Nothing in the house was left un-cleaned! (Even cleaned under my bed!) Looking forward to when they come back in 2 weeks! Thanks ladies :)

These 3 ladies were absolutely wonderful. They worked relentlessly and did an excellent job. They were professional and personable, and worked very hard. I would like to have them back on a regular basis.

She was 5 minutes early, I explained everything and she went to work right away. A great thorough job! Professional, friendly and hard working. We decided to hire this service on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend. I hope the future experience continues to be a good as the first.

I have been using this cleaning service since 2002. I have used them for my personal residences as well as for rental property. They were referred to me through a friend, and I have made many referrrals for them through the years, and would continue to refer them. I have always been satisfied with both the customer service and the actual cleaning service. They are always accommodating to my varying schedule and I have never felt the need to ?clean up? after they are done with their service. I love coming home on the day they have been there to a nice clean house. I have had them clean a 1br, 2br, and now a 2800sq ft two story 3br place. They are always very thorogh no matter the size of the property. I feel that their rates are very reasonable after talking to some of my co-workers who use cleaning services. I feel very trusting in whomever they send to my house. I have NEVER had any issues with any of our personal things being bothered or missing. They seem to take great pride in their work, and I will continue to use their services until I no longer live in the Chicago area.

Margaret is very competent. she does a great job of cleaning my house every other week.
