+ 5 moreJack was confident that he could get our job done within our budget. He sent respectful, highly skilled workers to perform the work--people I felt comfortable with. He stuck to timeline and didn't up-charge when small things got added. We did do lots of "extras" after moving in--things we did not know we wanted until we were in the building, living there, but he was patient with this, and any additional charges for work beyond the contract, were reasonable.
Description of Work: Massive amount of work to address problems in our recently purchased, but previously neglected, 100 year old 2 flat. Jack was a general contractor for us. He over-saw a new roof, new concrete walk, upgrades to both kitchens and bathrooms, including new drywall, removal of 5 layers of linoleum, sanding and refinishing hardwood floors, upgraded plumbing including circulation pump, and lots of drywall repairs and "touch-ups" as the electrician (who we hired separately) worked.
