WHILE THEIR QUOTING SOLD ME, AND JASON WAS VERY NEAT, HE BOUGHT THE WRONG COLOR PAINT, PAINTED 2 COATS OF IT, THEN LEFT AND NEVER FINISHED THE WORK. I WAS A SUCKER BELIEVING HIM THAT IT WOULD DRY IN THE COLOR WE WANTED AND PAID HIM ON THE DAY THE 2ND COAT WAS BEING PUT ON. WHOOPS. AFTER CALLING, EMAILING, AND INSTANT MESSAGING HIM, WE GAVE UP AFTER TWO WEEKS OF TRYING TO CONTACT HIM. WE TOOK OUR LOSSES AND HAD SOMEONE COME OUT TO FIX. I'M HAPPY TO SAY I'M HAVING MY TIME IN THE SUN WRITING ABOUT HIS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL PAINTING BUSINESS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM JASON HINTON AND A FRESH COAT. YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID!

JASON WAS VERY PROMPT ABOUT RETURNING EMAILS AND ALWAYS ANSWERED HIS CELL PHONE BEFORE AND DURING THE PROJECT. HIS CREW DID A GOOD JOB, EVEN THOUGH THEY LEFT NUMEROUS PAINT SPOTS WHICH I JUST CLEANED UP RATHER THAN COMPLAIN ABOUT. THE PROBLEM CAME WHEN I FOUND THAT HE HAD NOT PAINTED ONE PANELED BEDROOM. HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING AND SAID HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT THE NEXT WEEK. WHEN THE NEXT WEEK CAME I COULD NOT REACH JASON. THE FOLLOWING WEEK HE SAID HE HAD GONE TO AMSTERDAM UNEXPECTEDLY, BUT WOULD PAINT THAT BEDROOM ON 8/24. HE NEVER SHOWED UP, NEVER CALLED, WON'T ANSWER EMAILS, AND WON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS. I PAID SOMEONE ELSE TO PAINT THAT BEDROOM. I HAD PLANNED TO GIVE THIS COMPANY A GOOD RATING, BUT BASED ON JASON'S REFUSAL TO KEEP HIS WORD I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM IN GOOD FAITH.
Description of Work: PAINTED A THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT, A TWO-STORY INTERIOR STAIRCASE, REPAIRED OLD WATER DAMAGE, STAINED TWO EXTERIOR DOORS IN A RENTAL BUILDING.
