They are open on Sunday. I walked in and was served immediately. Work was done in less than 10 minutes.

I've passed by this tiny storefront hundreds of times but never noticed A D Watch Repair. I needed a watch battery replaced quickly, so I went online and found several recommendations for this place. He seemed very knowledgeable and competent, replaced the battery and told me it was $15, which is higher than the $10 fee for battery replacement I had seen online. I asked him about the charge and he said he had also fixed one of the hands. To be honest, I couldn't quite follow everything he was saying as his English is heavily accented -- I wasn't aware of a problem with one of the hands, but I haven't worn the watch much and he seemed honest and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back again and would not hesitate to try him on a repair. He said the old battery was completely dead. When I told him that I had had it replaced less than a year ago, he explained that some people use batteries that have been sitting around for a few years and they die quickly. When I checked my records, I saw that I'd had it replaced cheaply by a vendor at the farmers' market who not only sells meat but sharpens knives and changes watch batteries. I thought it was a bargain at the time, but obviously not. At A D, he puts a mark inside the battery case to indicate that he changed it, and he guarantees it for a year.
