 + 0 moreExcellent. They identified the type of fabric on my chairs and recommended dry cleaning. Some of my carpets were wool and required dry cleaning also. They were knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. I will definitely hire them again!

 + -1 moreThese guys are great. They came and cleaned my area rugs. They moved away the furniture or moved the rug to clean under and around every area. First they vacuumed to remove surface dirt. Then they used cleaner to remove the dog smell, carefully took out each and every stain no matter how small and them cleaned the carpet completely. I could not ask for a more thorough job at a very fair price.

 + -1 moreThe men, Glenn and Tom, estimated the job after they finished a carpet cleaning job for us. Their estimates on the furniture were exactly what they charged when they finished. The two men arrived on the dot; unloaded their equipment including their own vacuum cleaner. They worked together and completed the job in less than 2 hours. They were courteous and professional and spent all their time working. They were very careful with everything they handled. When they finished they gave me a dry-foam soaked cloth and told me I could do touch up with this towel by simply wetting it and wringing it out before using it on spots or spills in the future. I was very pleased with their job and I would recommend them to others as well as have them come back in the future.
Description of Work: Cleaned and sanitized 5 pieces of upholstered furniture: Sofa: 3 seat & 3 back cushions Chair: one seat & back pillow Chair: no removable parts Ottomans: two There were 2 workmen who vacuumed all pieces and then used a dry-foam cleaner application on each piece of furniture.

 + 0 moreA-Abace was able to fit us in quickly after our toddler's accident necessitated an emergency cleaning. They came on Saturday--a plus given our hectic schedules--and were able to remove the stain and offending odor. In the past we've had upholstery companies clean our upholstered furniture and the wet-cleaning has ruined the furniture. In contrast, A-Abace dry-cleaned our upholstery and the end result was excellent. We have since recommended them to others and will certainly call them back for a regular cleaning.

Description of Work: I don't have the words, time or space to describe how delighted I am with the work of Tom and Glen Thompson. Our Berber carpeting is 10 years old, and we have had it cleaned by professional firms a number of times--NEVER successfully. Cleaner after cleaner complained that Berber, especially a pale tan shade like ours, is virtually impossible to restore. Our stairs, in particular, always retained the grime. But the Thompson brothers worked their magic (that is, they scrubbed the stubborn spots by hand!). We could not believe the results. The Berber looks as if it has just been installed. Perfect. They were prompt, worked quickly, and a pleasure to meet. Terrific. Lois Wille

 + -1 moreThey arrived on time, measured the square footage of rooms, hallway and rugs. Then they thoroughly vacuumed everything prior to shampooing.
Description of Work: I have brand new wool carpeting and had some unfortunate pet accidents (urine and vomit). I had 2 bedrooms and adjoining hallway cleaned. I also have 2 large wool oriental rugs that I would normally take somewhere to clean but saw that they also clean area rugs (I never thought to have someone come to my house to clean them). I was interested in the environmental cleaning products and the dry circular foam method. I found Glen to be very knowledgeable about wool carpet/rugs and about pet stains. Their price per sf on the area rugs were less than I had paid in the past. Overall, the cost was much less than his estimate and they gave me a discount. I have seen on other reports on A-Abace that they are high priced, but I don't agree. What I liked about A-Abace is that after shampooing, they do a low flow clear water rinse which makes sense to me. Wool is trickier than other fabrics so it did take longer to dry than what you will read online. My carpet and rugs are clean and feel softer than before. I will use A-Abace again.

 + -1 moreA-Abace did a first rate job cleaning the carpeted stairwell at our condo building. A bit of solvent/residue was visable in a few spots a week after the cleaning so we called A-Abace back to re-treat those areas and afterwards the coloration blended with the rest of the stairs. I feel confident that the carpet was sanitized. Very pleased with the work and professionalism exhibited by A-Abace. Thank you, Glenn!

 + 0 moreGlen and his brother arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. Glen evaluated all my furtniture and rugs first, to determine what type of cleaning would be needed. He then gave me a final cost, which turned out to be a bit less then what he estimated on the phone. They got to work right away and did an excellent job. Their process does not leave the furniture too wet, it was all dry within 2 hours. I would highly recommend these guys for in-home dry cleaning, steam cleaning, deep vacuuming, etc. I think he said he's be doing it for over 40 years.

 + -1 moreThey put down a plastic tarp over my carpet and moved the sofa on the tarp. They thoroughly vacuumed the sofa first then used cloths to rub a foam solution into the fabric. Then they used a squeege type part on the vacuum to pull the foam out. When completed, they gave us a cloth saturated with dry cleaning material to use on the sofa in the coming months.
Description of Work: Two men dry cleaned a very large velour sofa on site.
