They didn't complete the job. They started framing the foundation and putting gravel in for the foundation...And then it sat there for 3 weeks before they came to pour cement. My main contact Jiovanne always had an excuse as to why the guys were not going to show up. When they did show up they confided in me that they were had not yet gotten paid. Jiovanne had told them that I had not written a check which was false. He had cashed my $8,800 deposit a week before. So they said they would take it up with him and continued to pour. But they did the foundation too high, I had paid for architectural and civil engineering drawings for them to follow and while they eventually provided the work, they did it wrong. Jiovanne then insisted that he get another deposit to start siding but I didn't until the concrete workers assured me they were paid but it took 2 weeks for Jiovanne to get them the funds. I questioned him as to what he did to my money and he never gave me a straight answer. I tried to get out of the contract but he insisted that I couldn't and he would file a lien on my house. So because I didn't know any better I paid more for siding. Now this would have been a 3 day job, 4 days tops if there was bad weather. But that also took them weeks. The first crew did not know how to do siding, it took them all day to put 4 vinyl siding strips. I also watched Jiovanne and realized that he didn't know own how to do siding. I asked him to bow out and I wouldn't be upset if he didn't know own siding but he insisted he knew. He eventually brought out a somewhat competent group but after 5 days they still didn't finish but they once again told me they were not coming back because they had not been paid. He somehow got a 3rd crew the come out and finish, they were probably the only professionals at the job site. The last thing was garage, he came for a few days, everyday after 1 because he always had an excuse that he had to get more material. After another week of excused and being absent, he just stopped calling. He blocked my calls. He even asked his workers to ignore my calls. But they didn't listen because Jiovanne was not one to pay them. They told me they were instructed by him to ignore my calls. So he disappeared with my last payment and without ever completing the job. I stopped by his office address and it turns out it was never his office and it also turns out he did something similar to someone else who left a review on the BBB website. He is a talker for sure and will make you think he knows construction but after you hand him money his incompetence shows. Please stay away.
