Thanks for contacting A&R Tree Service. We are professional in our approach and we always make sure we finish what we start. The next time you need help, call A&R for a quote! We're happy to help you!
"In February 2023 their rep came and gave me a quote to trim an apple tree and remove and stump grind another tree in my front yard. My son was being treated for cancer at the time and we were often not home because of treatments needed at the hospital. I paid for the service at the time of quote as I wasn't sure if I would be home when they did the trimming and removal in mid-March. No one showed up. I called in April and was told one of the employees had COVID and that was why no one showed up. I called again in May and was told that there had been too much rain for the equipment to come out and trim and remove the tree and grind the stump. In June I was told that I would be first next week and that they put my name at the top of the work list. They told me this again in July. Now it is after Thanksgiving. My tree has not been trimmed nor has the other one been removed. This company did not want to honor its quote and do the work for the services paid. I still have the work order that says paid in full that is signed and dated for Feb 23, 2023."

At D&K Excavation we offer land clearing, grading, land restoration, and other excavation services. Tired of big companies with no time for face-to-face? Well D&K is small with plenty of time for face-to-face to really get the details of the job right. First starting in 2024 were 2 buds with a knack for getting dirty.

Unfortunately, some plumbing scenarios, like a broken sewer pipe repair, will require excavation to complete the job. Plumbing excavation costs range from $30 to $70 per cubic foot. However, if you need additional trenching, expect to pay an extra $4 to $12 per linear foot. Keep in mind that these costs are on top of the plumbing repair costs, and they don’t account for labor costs. Consult your excavation specialist to determine an accurate estimate for your job.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The average cost for pool excavation is $2,500. This cost can range from $450 to $4,500, depending on the pool shape and size, time of year, and any need to move buried utilities.
When excavating for your pool, you might have to move existing utilities. You can expect to pay an additional $15 to $25 per linear foot to move gas lines. To move a septic system, it’ll cost an additional $2,000 to $20,000. A pool that is 10 feet by 12 feet averages $450 to excavate, and a 20-foot-by-40-foot pool averages $3,020.
The cost for residential excavation is $3,200 on average, ranging between $50 and $200 per cubic yard. Total costs could range from $500 to $15,000, depending on the project type, yard size, and soil type.
When a project needs an excavator, the contractor will subcontract one as part of the larger project. If you hire an excavation specialist, you can expect to pay between $40 and $180 per hour. When excavating, if you have soil with excessive rocks or clay deposits, expect an additional cost of $200 to $1,200.
On average, removing a tree costs around $750, but you can expect to pay between $200 to $2,000. Factors that impact the overall cost include the number of trees you’re having removed, their height, the diameter of their trunks, permits needed, and the tree’s accessibility. You’ll pay more if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or dangerous location, like close to power lines.
