Mr Sandless

Terrible. Floor boards replaced and they looked great originally but eight months later the floor is sinking and mr. Sandless says there is nothing they can do. Paid $1200 and the floors don’t look any different. The best part of the work was the board replacement and now that’s a loss. Would never hire again. Rude to my wife…yelling “ I ain’t moving no stove”. Just awful but we endured it hoping to see floors that were shiny and beautiful…going to just replace entire floor.

First off I have to say the floors look great. They are about 75 years old and too thin to be sanded which is why we chose Mr. Sandless. It took them a couple days to do three rooms. There was no harsh chemical smell or mess of any kind. As I said before the results are pretty amazing. They were able to darken the floor and match the colors in all three room despite the fact that all of them were different colors to start with.

Paul and Karrie were a great husband and wife team who did a beautiful job restoring our hardwood floor. I would recommend them to anyone interested in a quality job.

Mr. Sandless was very open about the service he provided and its limitations. They arrived on time answered any and all questions that I had. They did a fantastic job refinishing our floors. The type of hardwood we had would not allow us to do a traditional refinish of the floors so the Mr. Sandless process was an excellent option. The wait time for the finish to dry was also substantially shorter that a traditional refinish. We were able to move our furniture into our house 24 hours after the job was completed. I am very happy with the process and service that was provided and would recommend it to a friend.

We were not at all happy with the service from the local Mr Sandless (out of Chatham, IL). My wood floors were about 12 years old and sun faded and just dirty looking in places. It was also discolored under a rug we had under our kitchen table. It was also sun damaged in some areas, so much so that the grain had actually deteriorated. I was looking for an inexpensive way to improve the look of our wood floor so I called Mr Sandless. He explained that he could not fix the grain in the one bad area but he could clean it up as well as the rest of the floor.. The faded and discolored areas could be "blended in" with the rest of the floor and then a high gloss finish put over the entire floor. We agreed to proceed. Once the work was done we were totally unsatisfied. The floor did not look any cleaner. The dirty areas were still dirty, now just dirty with a good shine. The areas where there were some discoloration were not blended very well at all. In fact the lines where it was supposed to be "blended" stood out now more than before the work was done. In addition, the finish that was applied does not seem to be very hard. We have two small dogs and , of course , their toe nails scratch the floor but it is much worse now than it was on the original finish that was on the floor. Also, there are three splinters or cracks in the floor that were not there prior to the service. On the Website, it clearly states that "using state of the art equipment we get your floors down to the fresh wood..." When I asked the local franchisee why that didn't happen he said that was some other service the company offers. This was never explained to us prior to the work and this other service was never offered. Very confusing. They offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee but I was told by the local franchisee that he would settle for half the original price quoted. I contacted the Corporate HQ and they said I was obligated to pay the full amount so they felt the local franchisee's offer to settle for half was fair...not sure where that 100% Guarantee comes in. In conclusion , we did settle for paying half of the quoted price. In my mind that was money just thrown away because I am now still going to have to pay to get the floor sanded the normal way or replaced.

The owners, a husband a wife team were the most professional and courteous technicians we have ever had the pleasure of working with; they were on time both days they came to our home, performed the work flawlessly resulting in beautiful floors and two very happy cusotmers both my wife and I are very very pleased! I highly recommend this company to anyone considering refinishing floors, no mess, no noise, no dust, no hassle.....you guys are AWESOME!!!!!! Thank you very much.

The owners, a husband and wife team were so very professional and courteous. They were prompt arriving at the time they said they would arrive, performed the SANDLESS stripping and refinishing of our entire down stairs home flawlessy; they did an absolutely beautiful job. Our home is more than 130 years old and we did not want to sand the floors which would result in losing the beauty....I so highly recommend Mr. Sandless!!! Dont sand hire these people you will be so happy!!!!

They refinished & sealed my hardwood floor. There was messy sanding, no foul odors, & they were finished in one morning! My floor looks great and it is guaranteed for 5 years!
