We were unable to be present at the inspection so had to rely on information over the phone and via e-mail. We appreciated his willingness to work on a Saturday as some other inspectors weren't willing to do that. If possible, it is best if you can be there. The inspection seemed to be pretty standard, but he had to change the report a time or two because of concerns we brought up. While the service we received wasn't poor, next time we'd prefer to hire someone who is better at explaining things and more detail-oriented. Again, maybe things would seemed better if we were able to be present, but we were buying the home from out of state and had to rely on phone and primarily e-mail communication with our busy schedules.

Very very well. Troy had the inspection report emailed to me within a few hours. I called several home improvement contractors and got accurate cost repair estimates two days later. We found close to $10,000 of repairs and deferred maintenance items and were able to renegotiate the purchase price of the house.
