Description of Work: Our roughly 40-year-old gas furnace was checked, and showed clear signs of impending failure. | |New furnace was proposed, matching the requirements of the house size, and particular location of the unit. Two reasonable options were proposed, both at reasonable cost, including installation. The chosen option was delivered and installed, and the old furnace removed, exactly according to the promised schedule. | |The workers were always courteous, efficient, and professional. | |The new unit is working well, and we are entirely satisfied.

Description of Work: Serviced my a/c - heat unit. Added a new filter. These guys were the ones that put in my unit/s 11 years ago and have serviced it since then. They always show up on time and are very courteous. I wish they did all kinds of other work as I would call them for everything if it was possible!!!

Description of Work: Tried Ray's based on Angie's reviews. I wasn't disappointed. When I called, the pleasant receptionist took my info and said it would be later that day. They showed up right on time. The tech (Lou) showed up with a helper/apprentice. My AC had developed a slow leak (again, after 5 years). I have gauges on the suction line and knew it was low. Could also feel it inside. Lou found the leak fairly quickly (was not where I suspected). He said he was hesitant to try and fix it, as it was at a threaded port on an extra filter in the suction line (exposed to the elements) and it could cause more trouble if the threads got stripped, requiring the removal of the extra filter. Not really worth the possibly much higher cost. Based on my experience with similar mechanical systems, etc., I agreed. He said the leak was small enough that it shouldn't pose a problem again for at least one season. And since I planned on getting estimates for a new split system next Jan/Feb, I said "OK. Fill 'er up with freon and you'll be on my call list for an estimate." I enjoyed talking to Lou. He may not have "looked professional" (no uniform, etc.), but his real world knowledge more than made up for it. (he acted very professionally) And I also appreciated that he didn't try to "up-sell" me anything.

Description of Work: I have used them for five years for my annual HVAC maintenance. When I first moved in, they came out for my initial service call and even showed me how to use/maximize the potential of my programmable thermostat. They are honest and very reasonable priced. Getting an appointment is never a problem.
