The office got right back to me within an hour of my call and scheduled an appointment between 10:00 and 12:00 the next day. Lou, the service tech, called me at 10:10 and let me know what the problem was. By 10:30, my daughter's boyfriend called to thank me because the A/C was working again, for the first time in a couple of months. I was not present for this job but, Lou has serviced the A/C at my own home within the last four months and, I found him to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would definitely recommend this company.

They are reliable, and we never hesitate to contact them.

We received proposals from 5 HVAC contractors ranging in price from $2,800 to $4,800 for the identical scope of work. Not only did Rays have the lowest price but the Tempstar unit they offered had the highest consumer satisfaction reviews. They also offered an additional one year labor warranty on the installation over their competetion. The fellow that came out to the house to review our needs was not a commissioned salesman but turned out to be the actual installer who did all the work along with two helpers. It was obvious that the installer had been doing this type of work for years. During the installation a few issues came up which required additional work and cost but there was no additional charge over their quoted price. They took effort to keep the inside of our house clean and tarpped the entire work area. The installation was tested recently during an extended heat spell and there were no leaks or problems. Rays is not a high overhead "bells & whistles" HVAC contractor; they keep it simple offering quality work and product at a fair price.

He did a good job. He told us exactly what he was doing, and he did the job quickly.

I would give them an A-1 rating. They are reliable and they are familiar with the system I have. I've used them for years and they know what they are doing.

It was very good. They were just really good about diagnosing the problem, giving good information and following through. They dealt with us very directly. They have been around for a long time.

Another company's "experts" had come to do maintenance on our unit, and created a leak that drained all our freon in five days. That company came back and told us there was nothing they could do, and we might as well buy a new unit. So, we called around; Ray's came out, identified the leak, and fixed it in about 15 minutes, saving our house from the heat wave. Seemed to know what they were doing, and we haven't had any leak since.

We have used Ray's Heating and Air Conditioning for two seasons to inspect and perform general maintenance of our furnace and air conditioning units. We feel that their service price is fair, and they are able to come in a timely manner. We have found them to be honest in their evaluation and inspection of our heating and cooling units. Although one of our AC units is old and our furnace is also near the tail end of its lifespan, they have not pressured us into the purchase of a new unit. Ray's provided us with a price estimate so that we know what to expect when the time comes, but has never made us feel that we need to replace it until it really becomes necessary.

I’ve been using their services for about 18 years. They are reliable. They do good work. They are friendly and honest. I’ve got nothing bad to say about them. They are a great company. Everything is holding up well. They’ve installed my furnace and my air conditioner on different occasions and some were way back in the past and they’ve been of good quality. They’ve been really good. They were highly recommended to me by the previous owner of the house when I bought it about 18 years ago and I’ve used them ever since. They’ve been terrific. I would continue to use them in the future.

Came on time. In a few minutes, work was done. Excellent.

During my previous visit from Ray's my furnace was diagnosed with a bad bearing in the combustion fan. The repairman was honest and said," it could go out tomorrow or it could go out in three years. It will just keep getting louder and then it will fail. It's up to you when you want to fix it." So we waited and then after a year and a half it got much louder and so we called to have it fixed before the heat went out in winter. They were there the next morning with the part and replaced it and checked the operation. It went well and was done in prompt and professional manner and at a lower cost than expected .I'd definately call them again.

Our furnace broke right before Christmas. Ray's heating showed up within two hours of our call. They quickly diagnosed the broken part and replaced it within hours. Was very pleased by their work and their explanation of the problem and process.

Very responsive, excellent communication, knowledgable and competent workers. Good workmanship. Answered every question I had (I am a professor who teaches HVAC engineering).

Ray's is great at returning calls and providing service. They are prompt and the work that has been done has been effective.

A young fellow did the maintenance work on the furnace while I asked questions of the older guy, Lou (Lew?) about heating, insulation, and energy efficiency. He walked around my house with me, and pointed out where heat loss was occurring. He gave me an idea of how to prioritize the improvements that could be made. We talked about my old air-conditioner (1970s vintage), and he gave me tips on how to maintain it. I have an entire page of notes from his visit on aspects of heating and air-conditioning in my house. I got much more than my money's worth -the standard $75 maintenance call - and I highly recommend this company.

I called Ray's in the morning and they sent someone out the same day. He found the problem right away, fixed it, explained why it happened, and told me how I could fix it if it would happen again, then did the annual maintenance. I have used this company in the past and have been continually satisfied with their work.

The serviceman figured out what the problem was and explained what was making the noise. He went on to say there was no reason to replace the part until the noise got unbearable or it broke. I like that kind of honesty. He could of upsold me and got more money out of the service call but did'nt. He spent a fair amount of time and was prompt. Lastly, they mailed me a bill, no check necessary the day the work was done! :) I would definately use their service again.
