PuroClean Emergency Restoration

Went very well

Once the removal phase was completed, I had difficulty finding out exactly how long the restoration phase would last and when Puroclean would begin the work. Then I had a family emergency and had to go to Michigan , where my sister-in-law was dying. During the week that Puroclean was at the house, my husband was in Canada, I left keys with Puroclean so that they could get in to do their work. Two neighbors also had keys because of the ongoing storms and risk of reflooding. Both I and my husband returned home June 7. When we got up June 8, we discovered the loss of an item of significant value. This item had been placed by Puroclean staffers on a chest in the master bedroom (at my direction). The only people who knew of the existence of this item were my husband and I and the staffers from Puroclean. I called Puroclean, The owner denied all responsibility and said that when he had come by to get his tools on Monday, the garage door was open. I told him that that was indeed the case but that that the open garage door was after my husband and I had returned home. When we returned home, the door was not open. My husband has declined to file a police report because he decided he did't want information about the iincident to be able to be accessed online. Our insurance company has written the check for Puruclean's services to us so that we can negotiate with Puroclean and possibly recover some of our losses that way. I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. Although they had been recommended by our insurance company, they are not licensed or bonded. Our insurance adjuster has said that he has told his other adjusters not to recommend Puroclean as a result of our experience.
