Precision Painting

Chad had me from the description of how critical prep work is to a good job. And Kyle and Dakota worked hard at it. Had a lot of wallpaper to remove (4 rooms & a tall stairway and hall); and drywall to repair (from settling and damage). They spent 2-3 days on prep. They also helped with a water condensation problem at the bathroom exhaust fan (5th room). Also did 3 closets. The paint looks fabulous. We have a few bedrooms that need some paint too. Will probably call them again.

I couldn’t be happier with the job Kyle and Nick did on my bedrooms. There was significant bubbling and peeling of the paint on the ceilings of both rooms as well as a fair number of cracks in both. There was also a fair amount of cracking and bubbling on one of the walls. This required a lot of scraping then priming, mudding and sanding before painting. Kyle did an outstanding job fixing the bubbling and cracks in the ceilings and walls. The texturizing he had to do in the second bedroom ceiling matches the original perfectly. The ceilings in both rooms look amazing. And the cutting in Nick did is beautiful, the lines along the ceilings, walls and baseboards are precise. As I said, I honestly could not be happier.

As a general contractor, I hire a lot of subcontractors. These guys are some of the best. They do the job quickly, cleaned up well and gave a good price. I'll hire them again.

Several years ago my husband watched the Precision team scrape, sand, and repaint a house on his drive to work. Each day he’d come home and tell me about this house before anything else. One day he stopped and asked the team who they were, and that night we decided to contact Precision Painting for a quote to stain our deck. After that job, their professionalism and approachability, we decided Precision Painting would be the one to repaint our house when the time arrived, which was the summer of 2016. The work the team did on painting our Champaign home was incredible. Our wood siding was in need of heavy-duty scraping and sanding, and the guys handled it with an attention to detail that was beyond our expectations. The team was courteous and respectful to us and to our property, carefully cleaning up each day. The new paint on the house has completely changed the way we feel and think about our home. It’s such a pleasure to come home to a house that looks fantastic. Beyond aesthetics, it’s reassuring to know that the work was done professionally.

The team was very skilled and professional. A team of two painted a great room with a vaulted ceiling and its crown molding in 3 days. Chad's quotes aren't the cheapest in the area and he is not too flexible with his pricing, but he came highly recommended by my contractor and his team did not fail with the final product. The results look wonderful.

Chad and his team were great. He took a lot of time up front to ensure that we liked the paint colors we chose. We were actually out of town while the painting happened, and he had to respond to more than one nervous call from me asking him to take photos and send them to me so I could make sure I liked the colors I had chosen. The team was really respectful of our property- we have a ton of plants right up against the house and I saw minimal damage, if any. Chad is very friendly, responsive, professional, and knows his profession well. I was really pleased we went with this company.

Chad and his team did a great job. After reaching out to him, he came the next day to my house to assess the work. The price was agreed upon, which seemed very fair to me. A couple weeks later, his team came to do the work in two phases. The deck looks great. I would recommend them and use them again.

Initially, this job did not work out as planned and the decks did not look particularly good. However, Chad, the owner of Precision Painting, is all about customer service and was determined to put it right. He sent a team of two to re-clean the deck and apply another coat of stain to all decks. The finished product looks great. Precision Painting attention to detail, customer service, flexibility, and good business sense are a few of the reasons why I continue to recommend them. Thanks Chad and Precision Painting.

The last time they were here was last spring. They repainted inside of our porch which is a very difficult job because they were some lead paint involved and they did an excellent job.

I liked the job they did. They were willing to strip, and do all the messy work and do it right. I think their price was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but they did do a good job. They deck looked so much better after they were done. I think they don't offer as many colors to do the deck job, but they did quality work, and I am pleased with the deck. I had to wait a long time to get the job done, but it had been a hot summer, and lots of contractors were backed up.

Excellent. This is the second time we have used Chad and Precision Painting. They are extremely professional, worked around our schedule, and Chad was very, very helpful in the process. We left for a week and came back to the finished job, which I didn't envy them doing, and we were very very pleased with the finished product. Great group to work with, very accommodating, and we would highly recommend them.

Precision Painting FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. We are very happy with all aspects, from the first meeting to the final brush stroke. At first, the fee was a little intimidating, but after witnessing how hard they worked, their committment to detail and all the little extras, I wondered if they charged enough. They hand brushed our large 2-story home --changing it from the ugliest house in the neighborhood to the most attractive home in the subdivision.

They did great. An amazing amount of prep work. They were quite a bit more expensive than the "cut rate" outfit we used last time, and you get what you pay for. They ended up removing a good bit of the old paint and primed and painted everything. The did a lot of surface preparation (filling in cracks, re-nailing some loose siding, etc.) before the actual painting. And did a great job of cleaning up. The deck staining went well, too. There isn't much to say about that except that the end result looks great. Chad and the workers were all very professional and personable.

Chad is the owner of Precision and I worked with him the entire time. Although it is his busy season he was able to accommodate my painting requirements within my timeline. Basically, the entire inside of my house was repainted, to include closets, bathrooms and they had to fix some very crazy previous paint that was on the walls, like black paint, sparkles and neon colors. They were professional the entire time.

The painters were terrific. Very punctual, professional, and careful Did great prepping the home for painting, used quality stains, and could not be more pleased. Would recommend them highly to anyone.

This is the 4th time I have used Precision Painting and I was once again very pleased with the results. Original contract was to paint 4 exterior doors. The day they were doing the doors, as an after thought, I asked if they would also do the yard light pole and they did it as well. They thoroughly scrapped, sanded, and primed all the surfaces. They went so far as to completely remove a screen door with the frame to be able to paint under it. It closes better now than before they took it off! Chad's suggestion for the accent color on the front door trim would not have occurred to me, but it looks great. The 2 man crew completed the job by mid afternoon of the day they started painting. Very professional group. The will be doing all of my interior rooms this winter. Highly recommend them.

Precision Painting did a great job. We have received so many complements on how wonderful our house looks with a fresh coat of paint. The workers were polite, worked quickly and were very responsive to any requests or suggestions I had. Chad (the owner) took extra time with my husband and I helping us to pick out the right color. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product. When it's time for the interior to be painted, I will definitely call them again.

This painting company is the best. They are friendly, polite, punctual, and hard working. They pay attention to detail. The owner has a great eye for color. This is the 2nd time I have hired them. Last year they removed popcorn ceilings for me and painted the interior. I have been impressed both times with the skill of the workers. I wouldn't hire anyone else if I had a painting job to do.

Very professional and cleaned up every night before they left. They did a quick job and very good quality. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.
