Came home from vacation, and computer would not power up.  I disconnected all the peripherals, and took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, in the early afternoon (Saturday).  They took a fast look, found nothing obvious, and said I'll have to leave it, and it would probably be done Monday.  Oh woe!  In the early evening they called me, said that the power supply was out, a new one would be $60 + tax, and if I gave the OK, they would have it done in about an hour.  I did, and picked it up later that evening.  Life was good again!

We chose a new washing machine and dryer from their good selection. However, the salesman (the supervisor of the department) gave us misinformation, telling us that an electric dryer could be plugged into a normal 110 outlet.  The replacement (gas) dryer that was delivered a week later was the wrong color.  The correct dryer in the correct color is supposed to be delivered on Saturday.  We are hoping for the best, but it sure has been a mess.  They bent over backwards to make price adjustments to make up for the mistakes, but we would rather just have the dryer that we chose weeks ago.
