Description of Work: Do not hire Jerry Freeman. He is a scam artist. If you have already hired him, get everything in writing immediately, then end the job now and hire someone else. I am not kidding, this guy is your worst nightmare. Don't trust anything he says. Unfortunately, he has another company listed on this website, so I did not see these reviews before working with him.

Description of Work: Provide an estimate for various home repairs

Description of Work: Jerry was hired by another contractor to complete a board that the other contractor would use to obtain a wall for his control panel. Upon completion, Jerry showed up at my door with an $875 bill ($57 in labor) within 3 days. At this point, the contractor I hired to complete the job had not yet completed his part and had not billed us for the job we hired him to complete. I expressed to Jerry that this is a very expensive backerboard that after speaking to the original contractor he stated that he never OK'd a price such as this. I later asked 3 other contractors for estimates fo the same job. The highest of the 3 was a total of $250. I offered Jerry to pay him what the highest bid was, he then agreed to drop his amount from the over $800 bill to $400 if I agreed to not work through his contractor. At this point I was still not willing to overpay for a job that he never once gave an estimate on not signed a contract with either us or the contractor. I never knew Jerry Freeman, never hired him and certainly never ok'd a job done on my jobsite with the materials he used. Once he was unable to obtain the payment from the contractor that made a verbal deal, jerry began calling my husband at work, calling me, threatening to put liens on my home, calling me and stating he was going to come to whatever store I was at. There was never a job ok of his material list, time frame or finish product. He just took it upon himeself to do as he pleased. The worst part is the lack of professionalism he showed us as home owners by multiple times dropping by our home, calling, threatening liens. All while we never hired this man, never approved his structure with him or with the contract that did. He was the worst contractor to deal with customer service. I will state however that it is a very nice backboard for our control panel. Just wish he if he dind't trust the many who hired him he would have spoken to us as to our wants/needs and expectations.
